The charge lasts for hours and the light on top of the cord conveniently shows red for charging and green for full charge vs the confusing blink stuff for the PS3. Also the cord locks into place so you can use it as a wired controller as well. On top of this you can use it with the PC to play computer games to. Just plug it in and off you go!

This item works well and charges quickly. Easy to use.

We got this to go along with the wireless controller. It's more convenient than trying to round up batteries whenever they go dead. Holds a charge for a good amount of time (I haven't timed it because my kids aren't allowed to play for hours at a time and the controller holds the charge long enough for them to play a few times.)

I found that my kids are not gentle on electronic equipment and that some of their previous charging cables are starting to show some wear and tear. I figured if they are going to keep using the game console and a regular basis then they should have a was to charge their controllers while playing. It was on sale around the holidays so it was an easy decision to buy this. Would prefer that the Xbox would not require the proprietary connectors.

I purchased this because I went through Xbox batteries like crazy! This device solved the issue immediately. I get about three days of use out of this. I would recommend that you wait until the battery has about one bar left and FULLY charge it because a friend of mine ruined his by plugging it in and unplugging it.

This wonderful device from heaven allows you to use one of your Xbox's USB ports to charge you wireless controller. The cord is nice and long, and it simple to use.

I purchased two of these to replace the Nyko system I previously had. The Nyko batteries ran down very quickly (3 to 4 hours, if that, before the controller starts flashing at you) but the Microsoft batteries have been lasting much, much longer. Very happy with these so far.

Finally broke down & purchased the official Microsoft Play & Charge Kit. Don't settle/go cheap with rechargeable battery packs; after trying Nyko and other third party batteries have come to conclusion that the official Microsoft/Xbox 360 batteries work the best.

Not much to say about the play and charge kit. The rechargeable battery saves a ton of money over using just regular batteries and the ability to use the controller still while it charges is nice. The only drawback is the battery loses life after about two years of regular use.

This can charge you battery pack while you can continue to play. The long cord really comes in handy and you can even use it without any battery pack, or any batteries by using the cord. So this allows your controller to be cordless or corded using the long cord provided.

We purchased this so that we didn't have spend a small fortune in batteries for our wireless controllers. Let me tell you, this baby has not let us down. We get hours of game play without having to plug it in after a full charge! I would recommend this to anyone!

My son has stopped bothering me about getting batteries or replacing his old rechargeable battery. It last long and the best part is you can plug it in and still use the controller, unlike our last batter that required it to sit on the charging stand.

Very long cord, and perfect replacement for batteries, the product itself is great. I just wish they were built in like sony and nintendo's wii u controller I shouldn't have to pay extra for something their competitors provide with their controllers. But I have no option if I want to go the no batteries route and stick with xbox branded items.

Seems like the battery might hold a little more than 30 hours on a charge. Also, the cord is about half the weight of the original, which is nice when you want to play while charging.

The batteries work great, the power cord on the other hand..... Well we will see. This is the third set I have bought due to the cords being faulty and not lasting more than a year. I take impeccable care of my equipment and I expect things to last longer than a few months.

Our last charger broke, so we had to get a new one. This has been excellent thus far, the cord is longer than our last one, and it's showing now sign of slowing down. I easily recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable charger for their Xbox 360.

This kit is great. It eliminates the need to continuously buy batteries for your controller and holds a fair charge depending on your length and type of play. It would be perfect if it charges faster however it's still amazing at the price.

My son was going through the AA batteries required to use his controller so quickly that I was buying batteries weekly! He is enjoying hours of gaming and I'm enjoying saving on the batteries!
