"THIS IS BY FAR IN MY OPINION THE BEST CONTROLLER OUT THERE PERIOD.IF I WAS A CONTROLLER DESIGNER I WOULD HAVE JUMPED ON THIS BAN WAGON FOR ALL OTHER SYSTEMS,NOTHING COMPARE TO IT AND ALL THE FEATURES AND QUALITY IS A BONUS THIS CONTROLLER COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN MORE MONEY SORRY TO SAY. ONCE YOU USE THIS CONTROLLER YOU'LL NEVER TOUCH THE OTHER ONES AGAIN I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BUY 2 OF THEM AND LOVE EVERY MOMENT. SO WHEN I PLAY SOMEONE ELSE THEY CAN USE IT TO AND DON'T THINK YOU HAVE THE UPPER HAND.......MUST HAVE..!!

Heavy duty controller and I do mean heavy, controller has a definite weight difference from the standard controller. Pricey for a controller is only real down side.

The 150 price tag is steep and thank goodness I took advantage of last week's trade deal. As far as the controller itself, it is a totally different experience when comparing it to a standard controller. The grip on this thing is awesome. Not just in holding it, but the joysticks are great, too. Absolutely not slippage. The interchangeable pieces are definitely useful. Especially if you are hard and particular things like the D-Pad and Joy Sticks. I was always impressed with how light it is as well.

This controller is substantially higher quality when compared to the one that came with my Xbox. It’s a little more expensive than I feel it should be, but.....

I am using the controller every day for a couple of hours (for two months). Very nice design and heavier then the normal controller which is great (feels very good). What i like too is swappable components. I have not had any quality issue. I see only little improvement to gaming. You pay for a very good looking and very comfortable controller. The price is too high for what you get - therefore only 4 stars but I love the controller and would buy it again.

Great controller if you are willing to spend the money. The only downside I see is that the paddles in the rear are way too sensitive. I cannot even set the controller down without it accidentally pressing the paddles in the rear

This controller is the best on the market, being able to remap the buttons and use the paddles really puts you at an advantage, it is pricey, but it's worth it

Controller is AWESOME! It feels great in your hand and looks like quality. The price of the this unit would be worth it if it had a rechargeable battery with base. $125 is a lot of money for a controller but we "had to have it".

Been hearing a lot of good things about this, Xbox has my favorite controller right now and this looks to be a nice improvement. I have tried a couple third party "MLG" controllers but was not happy with them. This one looks as though they have put a lot into it, and worked with some current MLG players to get this built. I am so not looking to get that serious into gaming, but I would like a controller with a little more longevity, something I don't have to worry so much about the wear and tear from gaming sessions. Being that there is a lot of replaceable parts, I am sure we will see them sold separately at some point.

I got this controller for my fiance, and let me say, the Xbox One Elite Controller is a wonderful controller. The analog sticks are smooth as butter, and the low friction rings around the edge are extremely nice as well. The optional extended or concave sticks are a beautiful touch, and the d-pad options are great for swapping between precision and ease of use. My favorite feature is the hair trigger lock. It's much easier to rapidly fire a semi-auto in an FPS. I felt the paddles were a bit too easy to push, which contributes to the 4 instead of five star rating. This could be because I grip the controller too tightly, but that can't be an unusual thing. The biggest gripe I have is that it costs so much. I feel a $100 price tag would be much more reasonable.

This is the first of its kind for microsoft, a very detailed and customizable controller that can be mapped out to explicit detail. On that end it is pretty much perfect as it fits to anyone's needs. But there is a major issue here. A controller that is worth almost half the price of the console it belongs to should come with a rechargeable battery. The basic ps4 controller has a rechargeable battery built into it, so why shouldn't this controller have that. Very disappointing. Now you would have to buy a play and charge kit so that is another 25 bucks to add on the the 160+ you are already spending. Also very important any other 3rd party rechargeable battery may not work for the controller. So minus that major gripe it's a very fine product.

Bought this controller and a Cronus max to use with a ps4 before I bought a custom controller from a third party. I already had a scuf 4ps while it's pretty good I felt like the paddles on it weren't a good fit for my fingers. So, i figured I would try this out. I'll also preface this by saying that I was using this only for black ops 3 Pro's: I loved the fact that there were removable thumb sticks and the back paddles could be put in various configurations also. The controller also felt extremely well built and solid. Had a nice rubber finish on the front and back. The trigger stops are also really good but had a little bit too much travel even when I had them on. Still 10 times better than not having them. Cons: while the thumb sticks were good, they are just way too loose, and even when I played with the software settings it didn't help me. Next, I didn't like the bumpers/triggers. As I said, I am used to the ps4 controller, but I just found the Xbox triggers/bumpers to be in odd positions and orientations. Also, the paddles on the back don't take much pressure and I would constantly hit them by mistake and I didn't think I was holding them all that tight. I know that is a common complaint from quite a few people. If any of the cons were better or different I would give this 5 stars. Or if it was cheaper then I would also, but I just felt like there were some things that I didn't think worked for me personally but may be fine for others.

The Elite controller is much grippier with rubberized textures all around. The buttons click different (better) and the sticks are metal. The bumper buttons can be adjusted so it clicks/registers faster (good for shooting games). What ultimately sold me was the extra paddles that can be used for gear shifting in Forza. I think it is overpriced though, so star deducted.

Don't get me wrong, this controller is absolutely amazing. It feels great in your hands (heavy, doesn't feel cheap), and the buttons are extra responsive (also very customizable). I had a very hard time swallowing the price tag on it. However, after buying it, I couldn't really see myself going back to a regular controller. The paddles are very convenient, as are the interchangeable thumbsticks. If you play video games a decent amount, and can afford it, you definitely won't regret it.

Best Console Controller on the Market

I’ve console gamed for almost 30 years. This is the best controller I’ve used yet. It’s heavier than the normal controller and has a better feel. I only use two paddles like most. The back left paddle is mapped to the A button and back right to B. The accessory app on Xbox makes it easy to customize your stick and buttons. Great controller.
