The build quality on this is awesome, it is feels heavy at first. I also wish it came with the play and charge kit, it should at this price. It did take some getting used to if you u want to use the paddles. If you hold the controller to tight you will press the paddles. If the problem persists, they are easily removed. I do like this you can customize the buttions and sticks.

My son is very happy with this controller and would definitely purchase again.

A little over priced, but you can feel the quality. Custom mapping of the rear buttons is easy, but takes some getting used to actually using the paddles.

Not sure what makes this so much more than the regular, got it on sale and had some rewards. Wouldn’t pay full price. Took a star away for price and not including rechargeable battery.

I haven't yet tweaked or looked at all the available settings. The weight and feel of the controller is perfect and must have for each xbox one player.

I like how the triggers feel like metal and cold in the morning. I also like how the depad also feels like metal The back has like a very very nice grip/different material. I've been playing on Xbox live for years Overall this is the best controller I have EVER held in my hand. The price is really really well worth it. You truly do feel the quality.

I had to buy a new controller for my PC because my old Xbox wired controller finally gave out after a year. Although it is a little expensive, you get what you paid for. As soon as you open up the box you can feel the quality and care that Xbox has put into this controller. It is comfortable in the hands. The magnetized joysticks that you can swap in and out at the drop of a dime are awesome, and the back pedals on the controller are a much welcomed addition. This is a great controller to add to my PC gaming experience.

Between the weight, the grip and the paddle triggers, this is almost a no-brainer if you have the extra cash to drop. Comes with a hard-shell case and multiple thumbstick options to choose from meaning you can customize the controller in almost any way you desire, even up to removing the paddle triggers. I see no reason to NOT grab this if you have the option.

Mainly a Halo5 player (PUG Represent) and although this controller took some time to get used to, it's very beneficial. All I need to take my fingers off of the sticks for is to reload (can't do much when you reload anyways). Ground pounds, strafing, sprinting, and aiming are all easier now with so many paddles. I could see this controller helping with any FPS and definitely recommend it if you have the cash to spare. Game on boys and girls!

This is a solid, well built controller with many options. Microsoft has taken the best of what aftermarket companies offer but for a cheaper price

Very good quality controller look and feels premium. Great for shooters where you can map the extra toggle buttons to melee or jump.

Microsoft has really outdone themselves on this controller and the ability to customize it to your gaming style. I love the feel of the controller, a little heavier than the original but I can deal with it. The paddles and the hair trigger switches are very useful. I would highly recommend this to any gamer out there who are devoted to their gaming lifestyle.

I have a Razer Sabertooth and this remote surpasses that one in every single regard. The paddles are perfectly placed and weighted and have a very satisfying click. The grip on the handles and sticks is ideal and a welcome addition. The customization of the hardware is great, but the customization in the app takes this to an entirely different level.

Really solid controller. Get over the cost and purchase one. The customization is nice to have and the Paddles are great as remapped bumpers.

The controller is noticeably better than the controller that came with my Xbox One X. It is a little bit heavier but the overall feel of the controller is better. Has magnetic joysticks so they’re easy to swap out. The added paddle shifters in the back can be customized in button layouts to your liking. Overall an amazing controller. I was able to get it on a good deal... I traded in my controller and got this elite controller for $50 off. If you find it on sale or a good trade promo, it’s worth it.

Seriously the elite controller should be the standard controller. It's so much better with custom control sticks, adjustable trigger throw, and extra mappable triggers in the back for custom controls. The Material is more comfortable and the grips are awesome. You can have two saved profiles at the flip of a switch as well! Then it's the newer version so it has a proper headset jack built in. This is a no brainer . Go get a Elite control and you'll understand why you should have one.

For anyone that is on the 'fence' on purchasing this controller... Yes, its super expensive with a price tag of $150 that's over double the cost of a regular Xbox controller. However there is absolutely no comparison between the two. The elite controller feels easily twice as solid as the regular controller. It's a bit heavier but feels much better in my hands. No longer do I grip the controller and hear creaking. Also the material they used for the grip is amazing. On top of that, for anyone that plays games that requires you to push down on your joystick to run, aka Destiny; the metal rings around the joysticks no long grind to dust like the original controllers. The paddles on the back are actually extremely helpful. I currently use two of the possible four: one to run and the other to jump. At first I thought I would never use the paddles but now that I have them I couldn't see myself not having them. Don't get confused with the "new" controller on the Xbox One S. It's a slight improvement but nothing compared to the elite. Also the new 'grip' on the back of the new controller sucks compared to the elite. TL;DR: If you play a lot of Xbox.... there is zero reason not to get this. 9/10 - minus 1 for the price.

Like you, I read reviews about the Elite before deciding to buy. I got lucky and found one on for sale at bestbuy. Here are my thoughts: everything about the controller is first class. the packing is nice, the case for the controller is well-designed, and the removable sticks, D-pads, and under controller buttons are high quality. every design feature of the controller is well thought out. there are tons of customization options on the xbox application too. all in all, i think the controller is a great addition to the xbox one.
