I love this controller. The controller is well made. You can feel the difference when you pick it up. Being able to remap the buttons is great. The ability to change the thumbsticks, awesome. I use 2 different sizes when I play. I don't think I could go back to the standard controller again.

The controller is great it has a solid feel and the paddles, and trigger stops especially are great too (a big learning curve though getting used to the paddles). The reason I'm giving it only three stars is the fact that I play only FPS/PVP games like Halo 5, and Destiny, and I use a button layout called bumper jumper which uses the left bumper to jump instead of the A button. The problem is, I've had TWO Xbox One Lunar White controllers left bumper break off from constant usage (and I've talked with people that have had this exact same thing happened to them as well) and I feel that Microsoft should have took something like this happening into consideration when designing this controller. With all that being said, bumper issue aside, the controller is still built very well, but I would not purchase it without the extended warranty solely because I already anticipate the bumper breaking off at some point, and knowing that I can get a replacement after that happens gives me peace of mind after spending $150 on a controller.

This controller is by far the best one I have used on the Xbox One. The ability to use the buttons on the back makes everything so much easier especially in multiplayer games. It will take a bit to get used to using the mechanisms in the back but once you do it will be much easier.

...it is really pricey!! the Controller has multi-sized thumbsticks, 2 types of D-pads and 4 paddles on the underbelly of the controller. The feel of the controller has a soft texture around the face, sides and underneath with textured grips on the wings of the pad. This makes the controller slip resistant when you hold it. 2 trigger locks and a custom program switch complete the package along with a recharge wire with a black/green rope look and a clamshell carry case. This could be the last controller you may ever need to buy! Let you friends & family use the "old'' gamepads and keep this one under lock & key for yourself!

This controller has changed my forza and first person shooter games for the better. It takes time to get used to the paddles but this is a solid and well built and well thought out controller. Feels awesome. Works great.

This controller is incredible. The customization is seemingly endless, and the quality of the components is bar none the best I've ever seen on a controller. Highly recommended.

I really like this controller, however I do feel as it is a bit over priced... the controller does feel a lot more sturdy then the other one. Also all the different attachments make it pretty awesome. while it feels and looks really slick the magnetic clamps for the sticks, d-pad and back buttons do feel good but I few that they will wear over time.

I purchased this controller as an "open box" item, it came with all the original parts and only had one minor scratch. I have to say, I love this thing. The hair trigger makes a huge difference and the paddles really help elevate your game. Plus, the limitless button mapping and control options, make this a must have. I use different paddle configurations for different games (Halo, Gears of War), and being able to switch those with the flick of a button is an awesome feature. However, if you are playing primarily racing, sports, or platformer games, stick with the basic controller that comes out of the box.

Love this controller, picked it up on launch and have loved it since. Feels much better than the stock one, and is holding up great so far. If I was just to make one critique, I wish it was a bit lighter during long gaming sessions, but understand the weight is due to the metal.

Microsoft has made the best controller ever. It was worth the 4 week wait to be finally able to own the Elite controller. I have used other brands in the past but this one is amazing. Fully configurable buttons, paddles and sticks take your gaming experience to the next level.

Bought this as a gift and when I held it, this is definitely not you ordinary controller. If you are a serious pro gamer then I would recommend this if you can get your hands on one. My nephew loves this controller.

The controllers that come with the Xbox One are ok and work fine but feel a little cheap. The Elite controller has exceptional build quality, materials, and a good feel. The controller comes with a carrying case, a 10ft charging cable, and multiple thumbsticks and paddles you can use to customize to your play style. Along with the customizable pieces, there is also a Xbox companion app that allows you to create profiles for different games that have unique customized sensitivity settings as well as button layouts. Battery life is great and with moderate weekly use I usually go a few weeks between charges.

I honestly have not even opened mine yet - lol! And this is not because its an overrated controller. It is simply because its such a great controller and I want to use it for the right game(s). I have played Xbox with the elite controller at a friends house and its just an amazing controller. Xbox really nailed it with this one. People need to stop complaining at the price... this isn't meant for the casual cheap gamer. Its made for the dedicated hard core gamer who wants that little extra. Compare these to the price of an inferior Scuff controller - you can't go wrong. If you have the extra budget pick one up!!!!

If you are serious about gamingq, if you want to have every advantage possible, you have to start by getting this controller. PS4 players wish they could have something like this. The level of customization you can get from the console app is amazing.

Best controller on the market. Any self-respecting Xbox One owner should have one. Makes a big difference in your game right off the bat. Gets even better after you adjust to the extra paddles and programmability

This is my take on this 150.00 dollar controller. My original intent since I played Destiny 1 back when they came out with sparrow racing was to be able to, maybe use two of the 4 paddles on the bottom in place of the left & right bumpers but too bad for me it didn't work that way. So on to my take on this controller after burning through 6 or so of these simply because I play so much. The main issue that I've always had is the left thumbstick. It's the weak link that breaks down spring wise and will start walking sideways at any given time during gameplay. The time it takes to wear out the left stick for me is about 3 months to 8 months. And this is why you would be foolish to buy this unit without buying the 20.00 two year warranty. They will replace it at no charge during the first year, then during the second year you'll get a replacement and you just buy a new warranty. In hindsight, I wouldn't but this type of controller because the paddles got in my way of the grip area and you would find yourself mashing on the paddles when you didn't want to. That's all I've got hope it helps in some way.

The elite controller is the best I've played with. There is plenty of customization to this controller, both with the buttons and programming. It comes with a cord to update and program the controller with a switch for two different games, and nice options for the joysticks. It is also wireless. The bottom buttons are a bit awkward at first, but you get used to them once you play a bit. The controller feels good in the hands and the operation is real smooth. It even comes with a nice hard case to keep the controller and all of the accessories in. It's a bit pricey, but worth the money in my opinion.

Bear in mind that I have only had this controller for about 2 months but it has already surpassed my expectations. It has added to my gaming experience and I believe it has actually made me better at certain games. The controller is incredibly responsive and accurate. You're even able to completely customize the controller layout to your specific playing style. All in all it was a wonderful investment and is several steps above the original Xbox One controller. I would recommend purchasing the Best Buy warranty with it, just on the off chance that yours turns out to be a dud.

The controller itself is very solid and I love the premium features it provides. However, the left rumble makes a loud noise that really breaks the immersion in games. The battery door cover is also not secure, so it feels cheep, plasticy, and loose every time my finger lands on it. Besides these two issues, it would have been perfect.

First off let me say that I don't typically write these reviews but i felt the need to write this one. I have been a gamer since I was 1987. And I have owned all three Xbox systems. I go through a Xbox controller about every year from normal wear and tear. The elite controller is made of a different material and feels great in your hands. And being able to program the 4 paddles and adjust all of the sensitivity of the buttons give you a huge advantage over your enemies. This is a must have a bit pricey but well worth it if you are planning on buying a controller. Just look at the reviews.
