When I first saw this controller I was a bit skeptical about getting it since it's a bit pricey, but after talking to a few friends I decided to get it since it came bundled with Halo 5. So I was like "hey, why not". Let me say, this controller is awesome, especially for first person shooters like Call of Duty 3. The ability to tune any button to your liking in such an easy way is definitely a plus. The overall feel of the Xbox one controller is far better than the traditional Xbox one controller that comes with the system. If you're constantly playing shooter games like myself I'd definitely recommend getting it. It's worth the investment. I did try it with other games, such as FIFA and 2k16 and although it does work well with these games it doesn't shine as much as it does with the first person shooters. The elite control is one of the kind, the grip on the control is awesome. Is a little bit confusing at the beginning but once you set up the buttons and the triggers, everything is easy and fast...

This controller feels great in your hands. The weight of it is solid and makes the quality seem far greater than a normal controller. I also enjoyed the trigger stops. Which are great for fps games like destiny or call of duty.

So far the controller is good quality. Lots of bells and whistles.... Just a little costly. Great for a serious gamer but unnecessary functions if you just play for fun as time allows.

Worth every penny over stock controllers! After going through several standard controllers dealing with cheap parts and things breaking or malfunctioning - I decided to invest in this controller over other professional brand manufacturers due to cost and what you get for a standard rate. Very pleased and sorry that I waited so long! Feels sturdy in my hand, interchangeable parts are excellent quality, customization for game play style is easy and effective. Would recommend to anyone looking for a step up.

I've been on the fence about purchasing a Scuf controller for my Xbox One and/or my PS4. I was elated when Microsoft announced the Elite controller and this thing hasn't disappointed. The coating on the controller provides a grippier surface so I don't risk dropping the controller when on long gaming stretches. The ability to swap thumbsticks and the d-pad on the fly are quite nice and the paddles, which I thought would take some getting used to, work seamlessly and are almost second nature! Don't sweat the $150 price tag, it's well worth it!

In my personal opinion, this is the controller the XBox One should have shipped with. It feels like the correct weight and build quality and provides options to the user. I suggest purchasing if BB has the "trade in your old controller for $50 towards an elite controller" deal to drop the price. It does not come with rechargeable batteries (my only knock on it), but I already had one for my previous controller.

I got this for my fiancé. He spent a lot of time looking up reviews and things about the controller before deciding to spend the money. He said it took some getting used to, but now he loves it and thinks it was definitely worth the money.

This is the perfect controller. Great customization and I love the extra weight. It feels really high quality.

I love my Elite controller, when it works. There is a known defect with the left and right bumpers. They wear out and break over time at the springy center piece. BB warranty has replaced two so far, which is great, but the last time they had to ship it as there were none in store. When it's working as intended, it really helps with gaming. It takes a bit to get used to the paddles and the longer sticks (if you choose to use them), but once you get acclimated, it is noticeably better.

I am not a professional gamer. I've had an Xbox one for about a year and have truly enjoyed it. I watched Microsoft announce the elite controller last year. The modular pieces make this controller very nice. It is a little heavier then the standard controller but it is a quality device. Premium feel. I like the track pad option instead of the standard cross. And the smaller thumb sticks are a great option. It uses my same battery pack and the case that comes with the controller is very nice. Highly recommend for a great gaming experience.

Purchased the elite controller on-line about 3 weeks before receiving (back-ordered) it was like Xmas early..... then I opened it.... and was amazed of how much the technology has changed. THE BEST CONTROLLER EVER....... buy it, don't wait

The reviews have been spectacular for this xbox controller. I was able to receive the discount offered with the Xbox One X purchase. Made this deal sweeter yet. Seems to be a little heavier with a better build quality.

A bit expensive, but worth the cost for serious gamers. It's heavy and well built. I like the ease of changing the button configuration. I haven't used the paddles yet but feel they will add to the overall versatility of this controller.

Had a hard time tracking one of these down but, Best Buy got one in from another store and I was able to pick it up a few days later. Controller is very nice, feels good in the hands and the ability to change all the settings is awesome.

Finally a first party controller with a high quality build! I love the feel and performance of this controller! People complaining about the price should do a little research first! MS has pretty much undercut Scuff with a better product!

Was a little skeptical of purchasing this controller but know I am happy I did. It has improved game play tremendously. Well built controller overall. The only downfall to this controller is its weight. Heavier and takes getting used to.

Absolutely amazing controller, price is high, but if you're a serious gamer totally worth it. Being able to map your own buttons is amazing. Also, the adjustable trigger throw is great, and the bottom buttons are perfect for shooters.

Great weight and feel of the controller. The extra paddles and shift sticks make for easier gaming and toggling between different actions.

This controller is awesome!! Made mostly of steel the controller is on the heavier side but the added four buttons make it worth while.
