If you play xbox at least 15 hours a week then the elite controller is what you need. It is very comfortable to hold and feels very durable. There are also a couple customization options

This is an excellent Xbox controller that feels great in your hands and is perfect for extended play sessions. Makes going back to the old controller feel like using a toy almost. I only docked it one star b/c I was disappointed you couldn't re-map or customize the paddles to replace the shoulder buttons. They are locked in as the face buttons (A,B,X,Y) and I didn't like that. Wouldn't recommend spending the money if you don't game at least 8-10 hours a week but otherwise a piece of hardware that won't let you down quality-wise.

Great controller. Love the customization, feel, grip, weight. Only con is the sticks seem to give out quicker.

This is my second elite controller. Unfortunately I didn’t get the Geek Squad protection the first time. I seriously can’t go back to regular controllers. This one is so smooth and the paddles a a blessing. I did have an analog stick wear out on the first one which I’ve heard is a known issue. If you’re getting a prestige controller splurge on the extended coverage and you’ll be good.

and i dont think i could go back to a normal controller anymore. the quality is noticably nicer. and not to mention the paddles of course. took about a week to get used to but once i did i could switch games and layouts and it felt fluid. def recommend getting the best buy warranty if youre going to buy it. THEY REPLACE IT FOR FREE FOR 2 YEARS! and like any controller from daily use it risks breaking.. so dont be a fool

The controller has a solid build quality, but has two potential issues: 1) The sticks are the exact same part as found on the standard controller, and as such have the potential to develop "stick drift". At this point, there is no option for repair. Buy the insurance and replace it. 2) The shoulder buttons are actually a single piece of plastic resting with tension over a single pivot beneath the Guide button. In some situations, this piece of plastic can be brittle and break, causing one or both shoulder buttons to no longer work. At this point, there is no way to repair the controller. Buy the insurance and replace it. Unfortunately, Microsoft only offers a 90-day warranty for their premium controller, so it is well worth the $20 for two years of coverage on your $150 controller. BB has been super-easy and very friendly when it comes to the actual exchange process, so no matter how gentle you plan to be with your new toy, BUY THE INSURANCE.

The controller is sturdy, nice grip, interchangeable buttons...feels like you got what you paid for

At first I was not sure I really wanted to pay 149 for a controller but after buying i don't think I can go back to a regular controller and I think I play better with the controller

First up, only buy this controller if you really like to play games. The standard controller is fine for normal players. You will only buy this if you want to customize literally everything about the controller. The mapping, the back panels, the directional d-pad, even the sticks can be changed out. Only thing I can say bad is price. $150 is a steep price, but it is a top grade item.

Definitely upped my game with this controller! With the Paddles on the back, I can quickly move around in some of my favorite games with ease! It's a must have for any serious gamer!

Been using item for about a week now. I'm also an avid gamer who uses this item on daily basis. Pros - more comfortable in the hand - ability to reassign buttons to locations that works best for you - location of hair triggers are easy to use once you get use to them Cons - PRICE; unless you are a die hard fan of FPS games who likes to arrange the controller to your liking, then you might wanna pass on this - hair triggers are not the sturdiest but they do sell replacements and/or customisable ones also

This is the best controller I've ever used. you are able to remap buttons, trigger travel, joystick height, and remap buttons to the paddles on the back, and lots of other things.

I didnt wanted to spend $150 for a controller but this is the best controller ever. To play shooter games like call of duty, you will have a lot of advantage with this controller.

This controller is essential for me now if I want to achieve the best of competitive gameplay. The hand grips are great and the weight of the controller is much more comfortable in your hands compared to a generic one. The paddles allow for optimal customization. My only problem is when using the paddles I accidentally use them because of my tight grip. well worth the money!

In my opinion, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller for Xbox One is one of the best controllers out there now for the X Box One or the newer X Box X. It is a little heavier then the regular controller but feels great in your hands especially if you have slightly large hands and all gaming actions respond great to the button movements as well. Another plus for this controller is that it is fully programmable and you can add the tabs to the bottom of it for additional game control. I have been using this controller for a while now and I can not go back to using the regular controllers again.

This controller is phenomenal for both heavy gamers of the PC or console variety. It is very well made, sturdy, and will work seemlessly with Steam using the included heavy duty USB cord. The interchangeable parts are nice, but I used it right out of the box. It may be expensive, but I've not regretted my purchase yet.

Best controller ever. I've given it 4 stars because of it's build quality. The options are great but the grips on the controller will come off after a few months of use. It's a common problem with these as well as the bumpers breaking but Microsoft does have a year warranty and you should get the best buy warranty as well. The parts are pretty easy to fix if you run out of warranty. I can't go back to a regular controller after using this. Every controller needs paddles!
