This has to be one of the best controllers created. Trust me, just buy one. It's has a little weight to it which makes it feel like quality. Worth $150 all day.

After owning several aftermarket ps4 controllers it's a shame Sony didn't take a page from MS here. The quality and customization on this controller is amazing.

Can't believe I played FPS games without this. The customization, trigger stops, rear paddle controls... all add up to being able to out-maneuver your opponent.

I never imagined paying for a $150 controller. This controller is awesome and I thought I'd return it because I didn't like it but after a couple hours of use I was convince that it will be here to stay. Comfortable, accurate, and customizable. I love the extra removable paddles that give you more buttons and simpler ways to complete multi button moves. I can also use this for racing using a clutch set up in Forza.

Microsoft nailed the controller aspect with this elite controller feels a lot more sturdy then the other ones.. interchangeable buttons and mappable.. definitely a must have!

The controller was a bit difficult to get used to at first. I kept hitting the additional triggers on accident. Once I made some slight adjustments, I love it. I also love the ability to change out the sticks.

Honestly I haven't even used it to play yet since I'm waiting on an adapter so I can use it for PS4 BUT..... this thing is incredible. As soon as you pick it up you can tell this is high end, premium, we'll made. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about it. They even took all the features from "Scuf style" controllers and made them better like the removable sticks are replaceable but without tools. There's metal everywhere other's use cheap plastic. The triggers feel ridiculously good. Best part is its a name brand product that cost 100 dollars less than what these other companies are putting out. I guess one flaw could be the weight, but I love a heavy controller. If this is too heavy for you, put it down and go hit the gym. The packaging is top notch and the carry case which I doubt will ever come out of my drawer is also top quality even if I'll never use it. Once I get it synced to PS4 I'll mess with stick heights during game play but once I find what works for me, like the case, I'm sure I'll never use the rest of the accessories again. Sony needs to take note of what XBOX has done here and step up their game. If I were to replace this it would be for something of the same quality, but genuine Sony. Since I was in the market for a controller with paddles I wanted to give the XBOX platform a go. The stick positions definitely feel more natural but since I've been on playstation since day one this will take a little getting use to. Go get one now!!

This control has been my go to for games on Xbox. The craftsmanship and quality on this controller feels nice. I never thought of buying a 150 controller but it is well worth it. If you play any competitive games, the extra buttons give you a advantage. It does take some getting use to at first but after you get a hang of the buttons, it does enhance your gameplay.

I had this controller for a good two years before it started having issues. Had the protection on it and the person said they had one in stock, but then it turned out to be incorrect and couldn't get it back. My money was refunded but the sadness remained. Very well weighted and high quality. I wish the new ones weren't so expensive.

This controller is the hottest fire!! Before this, I was not nearly as good as my kids, now I'm almost nearly as good as them. ;) Certainly pricey, but certainly worth it.

love this controller.. The feel is great and has a nice weight to it.. Very customizable.Also I like the programming options.

If you love gaming rather it be FPS or mortal kombat this controller is built with quality. The material also keeps the hands from sweating like your holding a garbage bag for a controller like the stock one does..completely custom to your playing needs..just buy it and try it and if its not you then take it back...and keep it away from the small kiddos as it has small parts and it is i high dollar investment

This item definitely lives up to its name as "Elite". Absolutely the most comfortable controller I've ever held in my hands. Many interchangeable pieces makes it easier to adapt to certain games, for instance the shorter sticks are more convenient for shooter titles and the longer sticks I personally found more comfortable for racing games, I'm sure it'll be different for everyone but I love the options. The directional pads are also swappable, between conventional 4 direction pad or the 8 direction pad, making a diagonal push with one touch. The programmable paddles are probably my favorite part of this controller. You can program them to any existing button, (except rb and lb for some reason). Some people were complaining about them only being existing buttons but that makes no sense as games are only going to respond to the controls that were programmed to it. Personally I play a lot of rainbow six siege for those who don't know it a first person shooter, I've taken off the two top paddles and left the bottom two and programmed the left and right paddles to be used for the left stick click and right stick click, so that sprinting, knifing, and leaning towards a direction is quicker and I don't have to worry about slipping off the stick. The hair triggers are pretty cool too, if you are Burst firing or shooting a semi auto pistol or weapon, you can get more shots off quicker. Overall this is the perfect controller in every shape and feel, from comfort to playability.

My nephew can't save a controller for anything. This one is made totally of steel. For those who know someone like my nephew, the investment is worth it.

The elite is hands down a must need for anyone who loves video games. It’s feels great and the response is fantastic. The paddles makes a huge difference

Definitely notice the upgrades vs standard ps4 or Xbox one controllers. It is heavier than the standard controller, but the overall build quality is nice.

This controller is by far the best one I've ever used. I love the heavy, metal feel to it and how smooth the sticks feel to move. But this product u will not regret it.

This controller is so much more advanced than the normal one, that some games become that much more immersive. Allowing customization for almost anything you need the controls to be to enhance a fun experience is fantastic! For me the benefit is so much more, I have some disabilities involving the use of my hands. I am now able to deactivate a button and move it to meet my needs, which allows me to keep up on difficult games with experienced players. I can not speak to the durability yet, as I have not owned it long enough. From the feel and workmanship I believe it will last as long or longer than the standard. Of course if treated as a standard controller, and not maintained and put away after each use, expect less than favorable results. A drawback that could be a problem, are the pieces that can be exchanged ending up being a choking risk for small children. Although if this controller is treated as a high tech device, that you care about; when a piece is exchanged it should be placed back in the beautiful case therefore never an issue!

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller is a must have if you are serious about gaming. Perfect for first person shooters because you can adjust the sensitivity and trigger length of the back triggers. All buttons can be mapped and adjusted in the additional app. Also, you can swap out the front thumb sticks and d-pad for different styles and lengths for ultimate customization.

If you're buying this thinking it'll make you a great gamer it won't. It will take your current level and probably enhance on that. I love the solid feel of the controller and the feel of it too. It's not just plastic which is really nice. The analogs are the real thing here. They just feel so much better than the standard controller. My only complaint on this is it's price point. At $100 less than the system, kinda hard to pull the trigger on this which is why it doesn't get 5 stars.
