I purchased this product with a little bit of hesitation as It is slightly more expensive than your average controller. After buying it I understood the higher price as this controller can do it all. Not only has it improved my online gaming presence it also improved my overall gaming experience as well. If anyone that is on the fence to purchase this product. My advice is don’t think about and do it. You will not regret it.

I used to have both current men consoles, PS4 and Xbox One. I love the power and excellence of the PS4, but HATE the controller. My hand would have cramps and I couldn't game as much. The troubles of growing older. Then MS announced this gem. The elite controller. The price tag scared the heck out of me, but I wanted to give it a go. BEST PURCHASE EVER. The controller is mostly modular, is very comforting in the hands, and the xbox customize app is beyond awesome. You can control the bloody light on the controller, the rumble of the controller/triggers, even the sensitivity of the sticks! I ended up trading in my PS4 as it started collecting dust. I miss playing my PS4, but until they have a controller comparable to the excellence that is the Elite Controller, Microsoft gets my money for now.

If you're reading this and want to purchase the elite controller...For the love of god get Best Buy's two-year extended warranty. That way if you run into an issue with this controller (which you most likely will if you game a lot) then you will be happy that you got it. I mainly game on my PS4 Pro but got this on sale for my Xbox One S (due to the release of the Xbox One X approaching). So I haven't spent nearly as many hours with this as a PS4 controller. But with the hours that I have spent using this, I highly recommend it.

Great controller. Has extra weight that i like. Smooth control inputs and highly customizable.

One of the best remotes out there. Perfect weight. So many options on gameplay adjustments. Perfect for games like call of Duty or any game to be honest. Well built. BUY THE EXCHANGE WARRANTY! it comes in handy as these tend to lose adjustments after a year or two.

The best Microsoft peripheral to date...The controller in no way feels cheaply made, it's sturdy, and the newly designed grip on the handles is my favorite feature. The (any) button mapping is super easy to configure and makes any game that much more enjoyable.

By far the best fully modal ever Controler on the market for 1/2 the cost as an scuff controler

I struggled with this one. When it was announced, I said "NO". Wouldn't pay that much for a controller. Handled one, decided to track one down and give it a shot. Got a decent deal on it (just a little over $100). This thing has the feel (and look) of quality. I won't let my kids handle it- it's much too nice for the potential to be mistreated. Comes with a zippered carrying case and adapters for different play styles. Why I rated it 5 stars (despite the cost of it): it feels wonderful. It's also one of the cheaper options for this many control methods. It's remappable. Games like Halo 5 really shine with this- you can assign several things to the paddles so you never have to move your thumbs from the sticks. Takes a little getting used to- but difficult to go back to regular controllers for MP games after using this. Target audience? If you play anything marginally competitive online: grab this. It'll give you more tools to grow and is worth it. Works well with PS4 adapters to be used on that console as well.

Changed my gaming by being able to set controller settings up for different games. Especially racing games

This feels much more solid than the standard controller. It's worth the premium if you are a serious gamer.

Once you get used to the initial change in weight which isn't long it one of the best controllers I've had.
