I was hesitant originally to purchase this as I didn't think I cared about how I played and it's only about fun. However, after some frustrating rounds in Destiny PvP Crucible where button combinations were simply impossible unless you were playing with an unnatural positioning of the hands, it became clear that I needed something else than the standard controller. With that mindset, I set off with the best of the best in regards to bang for the buck and that's the Xbox Elite Controller. There is a large learning curve to utilize the 4 paddles on the bottom but when you do, it becomes very clear that you need a controller like this to take your fps gaming to the next level. It's not easy, but the work you put in will be paid back with dividends. The build quality is second to none, and it's from the factory so warranty is definitely nothing to worry about. Give it a shot, you may be pleasantly surprised!

Epic is the only way to describe this controller. Look and feel is incredible. The controller has extra weight to it when compared to a standard Xbox controller. You can feel the quality. The controller feels great in your hands. The ability to customize and store profiles on the controller has had some benefit, and I can see where it would be amazing - but I haven't fully utilized that feature set yet. What has been amazing, is the ability to change joysticks, remove or add levers and adjust the sensitivity of the triggers. I'll never go back to a standard controller. The price is a little high, but I feel it's worth the investment if you take care of your stuff.

This controller is overpriced, but at the same time its an awesome controller. The feel is nice, and you can set it up to the way that works best for you. If you have an Xbox One or a gaming PC, you should pick up this controller. You will need the wireless adapter from Microsoft (Xbox One) to use this on PC.

Heavy, real heavy and it feels great in your hands. It seems solidly constructed and buttons and padels are metalic. The padels are really sensitive and so you need to be cautious about what you assigned them too. The custom config can take some time too and will not let you assinged macros. But over all, I'll never go back to a normal controller, definitely worth the extra cash!

This controller has great buttons and joysticks, the weight of the controller is great for those who feel like the regular controller is too light. The triggers are amazing and very helpful when you want to shoot faster or more accurately.

I, like many others before me, was wondering how this controller could be worth the price that Microsoft was asking. I can tell you this though. It has been worth every red cent. I have rather large hands and the customization available with this controller is unparalleled. If not for the customization of the D-pad alone. Xbox gamers know that over the last three consoles that Microsoft has released the D-pad has been rather lackluster. This controller fixes this issue and many more. The four alternate buttons, on the back of the controller also give you another level of customization. I no longer have to remove my thumb from the right thumb stick to reload or, jump, etc.. It's also another amazing thing to be able to shorten the throw of the trigger buttons. Any shooter fan will tell you any little advantage is crucial. 1/10ths of seconds really add up when playing a shooter with any kind of quality net code. It's the difference in a kill trade and a round the next corner. Just buy it, you can thank me later!

This controller is amazing. Pro or not this is going to enhance your game. The customizations are mind blowing, every single piece is detachable and interchangeable. The build is sturdy will steel parts and a diamond grip. It is expensive but if you are serious about gaming, this is a must have!

This controller is pretty good. The build quality and materials are great. I love the metal sticks and paddles. Being able to assign different buttons to the paddles is also pretty nice. It really helps in shooters. I thought the price was ridiculous at first, but now that I have it, I don't mind. It was worth it to me. All Xbox Ones should have shipped with this thing.

Great controller. Alittle pricey. Bought the 2 year $20 warranty with it. Heavier than the regular controller. I like it. Rubber grips on the sides. I like the longer thumbsticks it comes with. Feels very solid. I would recommend this controller to anyone who plays FPS, like Halo or COD.

I was really on the fence with this controller. I watched YouTube videos, read reviews, everything. I couldn't decide. But I finally pulled the trigger and am extremely glad I did. The build quality on this controller is excellent. The grip is 10x better than regular controllers and feels great in your hands for long sessions. The paddles take a while to get used to but are perfect for certain games like Forza and Halo. The customization is really a notch above anything I've ever owned. If you game for long sessions and play competitive shooters this controller is definitely for you.

Good feel, nice weight, but not necessary for all types of gamers. The customization is nice - hope for more fine tuning updates to come though. Not really necessary for casual games- the standard controller works well for the price, but great for avid fps players

Can't say enough about this controller, other than I love it and won't ever go back to a regular one...the feel, the weight & the customization are great - especially the the half trigger locks. Would definitely recommend this to any & all gamers, of any level.

After having this controller for little over a month now. I find that the overall experience I had was an excellent one. Whether it be playing the PC or my Xbox the controller was comfortable and great for the functionality it is packaged with. The build quality is outstanding in comparison to a SCUF controller I had previously owned. After using for 100+ hours it displays little to no wear. Also the customization options are a great touch for the price too, allowing for swap-able thumbsticks, dpad, and paddles. Though pricing wise it isn't to outstanding to the end user. This is definitely a product you should only be getting if you are playing at least 5 times a week and having more than an a one hour session. Overall if you like to have a controller with a boat load of functionality and superb quality build I'd be hard press to not recommend this controller.

I was a lot like most people when the price of this controller was announced "there is no way I'm spending that kind of money." I tried one out first and I was hooked. The normal One controller feels cheap as if it could break if I squeezed it too hard. The Elite controller feels very sturdy. The grips feel like a handgun grip so even if your hands get sweaty they won't budge. The paddles are a nice feature if you feel like clicking the thumb sticks take too long or if you don't want to move your thumbs off the sticks. All of the buttons are programmable so you can make similar games play the same. I play games nightly and I can't see myself going back to an old controller.

Love this controller but you pay a premium for it. I used rewards credit so I got a $20 discount. It is a great controller for just about any game type as it is very versatile. So far I have played sports and FPS. I love the feel of the controller compared to the basic one. It has some weight and the grip is good. It is super easy to reconfigure for various games and switching between setups is fast. I was concerned about the magnets holding the triggers and sticks but they hold very firmly. About the only negative I have to say besides the price is you can only have two configurations stored at a time. It is pretty quick though to go into the app and load a different one.

This really is a great customizable controller. Has a very solid feel but is heavier than other controllers out there. Did not bother me but something to keep in mind. So easy to change out joysticks and paddles. A must for any serious gamer.

I have been very hesitant to buy this controller because of the price. There have also been users that have experienced problems with the grips. I decided to take a chance and buy it. My first impressions are WOW! this is a nice controller! It comes with a very nice travel case that has storage for the spare parts. The controller itself is very nice. It's substantially heavier than a standard controller, and it just FEELS better. I do like the swappable thumbsticks, however, I would prefer it to include more shorter sticks than the wildly tall ones that it comes with. Another nice feature is that there is a 'super smooth' ring for the thumbsticks. This is noticeable, as they seem more fluid when you are in spirited matches. The paddles on the bottom. This is a unique setup, and depending on how you grip the controller, you may have issues with them. I have tried using all four, but due to how I grip my controller ( I have larger hands), my fingers were ALWAYS clicking a paddle when I didn't mean to. Right now, I only run one paddle which I have mapped to the left thumbstick click function. The two upper paddles could be closer to the controller, they seem to hang out quite a bit. The controller has all the same features and functions of a normal controller, so the chat pad, headset adapters, and headphones will all work. There is a profile switch on the controller, so you can have two profiles without needing to change anything in the software. The software. WOW. There is so much customization for the controller, it's crazy! I have barely messed with it, and it does make a difference in how you play. Overall, I like the controller, it feels great, has tons of functionality, and looks good. Would I buy it again? Yes. However, it is ultimately up to each individual, as $150 is a lot of money.

The controller feels like quality from the weight in your hands to the rubberized grips and the smooth pressing buttons and triggers. The cusomizable thumsticks are surprisingly useful. I have not found the removable paddles to be particularly easy to use in-game, even in COD, but that may be just me. My complaints are that the play and charge batteries for other controllers will not work for this, and it burns through batteries quick. The included controller cable seems to have already developed a fault in the micro USB connection, so I cannot use the controller without batteries which is very frustrating. I take care of this product, so it was not damaged through abnormal wear and tear. This is why the product did not get five stars; for the price, it should not be so easily damaged.

The controller feels extremely durable. It sits prefectly in my hands. I love the extra paddles. One of the best part of the controller are all the customization options. This controller has really improved my game play.
