This controller is good for a gamer who wants to customize the controls and feel of their controller. You do have to be careful when setting the controller down if on so that you don't push one of the lower triggers on the back. Had our first one for a yr an half and the joystick started sticking so this bought to replace that.

The controller is simply awesome, having the paddles on the back has improved my gaming, I’m a dad and former pc gamer. Never did any FPS on Xbox before. I was a potato on the Xbox, the Elite has helped me get to three steps above a potato. Still learning but the controller is well constructed and also being able to customize the stick lengths can really help in aiming. One change I did make was I also bought the Scuff Elite paddles for it. I liked the position of those but liked the overall build quality of the elite over the scuff. Solid controller.

Controller is great. Has good qualities and I can see why it’s popular. However, for the price? Absolutely not worth it. It should be about $20 bucks higher then the average controller.

Interesting layout, but not sure worth 3x price

The layout seems like longer term would become useful, but does not seem to be worth the 3x price of a standard wireless controller. I found myself going back to the normal buttons rather than using the extras on the bottom.

This controller is worth the price. I love the material of all of the components. The controller has a soft grippy texture and the d-pad and paddles are metal. I like that it comes with three different joysticks. I use the tall one on the right side for better control while aiming. I only use two of the paddles as it gets very confusing as to which paddle does what. If you can keep all of the buttons in mind and train your fingers to hit the right paddle, you have a lot of control and quick access to otherwise inconvenient buttons. Best of all, it comes with a sturdy usb cable which allows me to play without batteries.

This controller is worth every penny, from the adjustable sticks and dpad to the control of the triggers and then the new paddles which allows you to switch things up.

If you play your Xbox One a lot like I do this is honestly a must own. Yes the asking price is a bit steep but the controller is amazing. It just feels right in your hands.

It's rather pricey but overall it is a real good controller. I feel that Microsoft could come up with better ways to configure it as it is more difficult than need be. I had difficulty charging the unit with my current charging base. If you can mod your charging base, then it will be perfect. Also, the battery cover is slightly different so you will have to mod the cover too. If you don't know how to do mods, then you will have to look for a new charger. On casual playing, the battery lasted about 10 days or so for me. Not bad at all. I don't agree on the $150 you have to dig up. To me I feel it is fair to price from $100 to $130. I just don't understand why it doesn't go on sale. However, I do recommend anyone who is on the borderline.

I've been enjoying not having to remove my thumb from the right joystick and using the levers instead, though it is irritating that the levers sometimes get pushed when not on a hard surface (on a bed for example) while you're trying to watch a show and it rewinds or stops because your dog jumped on your bed, shaking the controller even slightly.

The main reason I purchased this controller was so I could use two of the finger paddles in place of the left and right bumpers on Xbox but it doesn't do that! Then I really liked the look of the platter style D-pad but for me, I was hitting up or down when I was trying to hit right. Overall the quality of the unit is higher but not 3 times better. And the last really bad thing is that the right thumbstick is the downfall of the unit, it was going out on me in as little as 3 months so since I purchased my first one about 4 years ago well let me say I've gone through about 6 to 8 of these but if you buy the 2 year warranty for 20 bucks you'll be okay.

Over priced but you will feel the difference soon as you put it in your hands! all the adjustments you can do to fit your style of play is awesome. Not for all but if your a serious gamer who doesn't want to spend $200 plus for a modded controller then this is worth a try!!!

I bought this to use on my windows 10 PC that I have hooked up to my TV in my living room and use the Xbox one usd adapter hooked to my pc. I will have to say that it does feel better constructed then and it does have more weight to it not to much but in a good way. I took one star away for the price, is it made better yes is it worth three times the price I would say no. But if you have some extra money then I say go for it. My only other complaint is the paddles on the bottom, for me the way they stick out to far I end up hitting them by accident but they are cool that you can map different buttons to them. Also the warranty through Microsoft is not very long so pay the extra and get one through best buy.

This controller is very high quality and I love the paddles on the bottom, can make it so you never have to take thumbs off of the sticks, but worth around 100, not 150.
