This remote is well built, and has a bunch of customization. Its great for shooting games cause you can set the triggers, and buttons how you want. Also the paddles on the back make it easy. Also comes with different buttons you can use to adjust height. Nice product.

After going through a couple of controllers already on my XB1, I decided to give this a shot. Feels like a good piece (has some weight to it) and I really like the features like the extra buttons - but the option to not use them if you don't want to - or the joysticks you can easily swap in & out. The different profiles you can set up is cool, too. I think the best part for me though is the ability to use a standard headset (instead of having to have an adapter or use a headset with a 2.5mm male end). The mixer that is in the settings menu is also great to help level the balance between people screaming in your ear and the sound from the game your playing. All in all, it's a little pricey....but I'm hoping it's worth it in the long run. :)

What can I say, the controller matches all the reviews you see out there. All the options are nice with the paddles. I find to enjoy the trigger stops the most as I play a lot of FPS. Another thing I like is the weight of the controller. It feels pretty solid. I would say its worth the steep price tag if you think the features will be useful to you. It is certainly as good as any Scuf Controller for a much loser price.

I like this. It's heavy and has a lot customization options. The only thing I don't like are the thumb sticks. Something feels off. I can't tell if they are too responsive or not responsive enough. I have to mess with the settings, because there are setting for how responsive they are, so maybe I can get to them to feel right. if you have the extra money to throw down I would suggest it.

Nice heavier product, after D/L the controller APP on the XBONE you can adjust the trigger sensitivity and re map the buttons. No probs using my headset with it. The thumb sticks that were installed were fine so I didnt need the others that were included, but they might be handy for people, the only con is what others have stated, for this price Microsoft could have at least included rechargable batteries.

    Best Controller I've Ever Used

I'll never be able to play a first-person shooter again without this controller. Using the free app on Xbox One you can fully customize/remap every button on the controller, including the 4 paddles. Using this you can aim, shoot, jump, etc without ever taking your thumbs off the thumbsticks. Also, it's extremely easy to swap out each part - thumbsticks, paddles, d-pad, hair-trigger locks. 100% recommended.

Xbox Elite Controller is a must have

This controller is very expensive, but is a purchase that you will get your money's worth out of very quickly. The first this I would like to note is the standard Xbox one controller only lasted me about a year before I started having issues with the thumb sticks as they would shave down a bit from game play and eventually would stick. This controller I am confident will not have that issue. If you play a lot of FPS, especially competitive, this controller will help you take your game to the next level. There are so many options/customization options on this controller that help greatly. The available paddles offer you the oppertunity to set up controls to where you never have to take your thumbs off the sticks. While this is a bit awkward feel at first, you get used to them very quickly and have found things like melee and crouch use significantly better! Again, I know this is an expensive investment, but with my prior use of the normal Xbox one controller, this thing will pay for itself after 2-2.5 years of use. This thing is a must have if you play a lot of competitive FPS.

I like the Xbox controller. The Elite takes everything I like about the stock Xbox One controller and kicks it up. It feels better in your hands and, once you get used to them, the extra paddles and their programability is very useful. The software to program them though, not so much... It won’t completely transform the way you play games on your Xbox, but it will tweak it significantly. For some people the Elite controller is overkill, but while even some casual gamers will appreciate how it feels and responds, it is a luxury item rather than a necessity. No one needs all the fancy polished metal, soft rubber, satiny plastic, and interchangeable buttons and sticks secured with magnets, or the extra paddles, or the ability to fine tune every input on the controller. No one needs a padded, zippered carrying case to house the controller and all its interchangeable parts. But having all those things is totally satisfying. If you spend much time gaming, and $150 won't break your bank, I doubt you would regret getting one.

So I own a pair of Scuf's controllers. My lates one was the stealth one that vost me around $209 so comparing this with the elite I can tell you that for starters, the quality materials are way superior on the elite. The quilt quality is also on another level. The scuf is to put it simply, a modded cheap controller. The elite is just factory custom made. Is like you buying a car and spending 40k to make it fast and look cool and your friend went ahead and bought a Tesla. So your friend ended up paying 80k for the car and 40k to mod it = 120k but your friend bought a Tesla for 110k and its better looking and better materials than yours. That's basically the same case.

I bought a $150 controller, just to use it like any other. I know I can go into the controller app and mess with the configurations but I haven't found a reason to do so yet. I just like knowing that I can do it and that this controller is made out of some fantastic materials that should prolong it's lifespan. Especially since it's mostly removable and easy to clean. Loving it.

Kind of pricey, but worth it in my opinion. This is my second one (first one is still working). It "feels" like a $150 controller. Smoother joysticks, option to change the length of the joysticks, ability to customize the thumb-stick sensitivity. Having programmable paddles on the back is handy. I only use two of them, the lower two get in the way.

I really like this new controller. While it is a little on the heavy side, the ability to control over-travel on the triggers really speeds response time for certain games. The programmable additional buttons on the underside took a little getting-used-to, but once I did, I really like having the option to use fingertips on the underside to supplement what I can do with my right thumb on the normal A-X-B-Y buttons on the topside.

This controller really lives up the hype. The exchangeable parts swap very easily in seconds. Button remapping is pretty intuitive, and everything about the product feels premium. Even the power cable that it comes with is made special for this controller. Of course this all comes at a hefty price. $150 is about the amount of money that 3 controllers would cost.

This is my second Xbox Elite Controller, the first one I bought it in 2015 and the RB it broke like a month ago playing Assassins Creed Odyssey. I repaired and it is working well but I decided to buy another and this time I bought warranty for 2 years with my friends from Best Buy for $25 and it's worth it. I'm not a heavy player but I like this controller a lot since my hands sweat a little and has a better grip, the paddles I almost do not use them but they do not bother me. This controller has been well designed and feels better than the others and it's a little heavier. For me it is money well spent and remember you only live once. God Bless. The old controller I sold it for $95 not bad.

This controller has definitely set the bar for high quality controllers. I've considered buying a Scuff controller before, but not for $200+ and only using the regular xbox controller parts. The extra paddles definitely take some gettig used to, but I love the ability to change them for each game I use it for. I will be probably buying another one eventually.

I bought this because I had done my research and wanted to give it a try. I’m a casual gamer but it has improved my gameplay. With its very extensive customization I mapped the buttons to my liking which made the games easer to play. The grip on this is much improved from the one that comes with the console, I’ve noticed that my hands don’t sweat like they did with the other game controller. Overall it’s a waaay better controller than the other controller, if you are looking for an edge when playing games this is it. I was lucky enough that I found this on sale and had a couple of coupons which brought down the price even more and it was a deal that I wouldn’t get again so I jumped on it.

The Xbox Elite controller is excellent! It is heavier then standard XB1 controllers, however, it has a great texture that gives an excellent grip. The on thing that had me woried were the interchangable pieces. After using it to play games like Destiny, Forza 5 & 6, Fallout 4, and Elder Scrolls Online, the build of this controller is nothing less of great quality and great design. To make it even better is the button mapping and the customization you can do through console when you plug it through the 8ft usb cable. Yes 8ft! I would recomend the Geek Squad protection plan thats $20 cause my son accidentally destroyed my usb cable and they replaced the whole producted with an easy swap, which in the turn around you can purchase a new protection plan.

This controller does everything that the normal ones do, but better. Feels great, weighty, solid and responsive. Extra paddle buttons make for easy to customize gameplay (example: set paddles to replace pushing in the thumb sticks). Price may seem steep, but this is one purchase you should absolutely make if you play games on either Xbox One or Windows PC.

This controller is great. The elite even feels high quality. It's slightly heavier in the hand (in a good way), the rubber is very grippy and feels very nice, and all of the button have a more crisp responsive feel. The thumb toggles and d-pad also have a nicer responsive feel as well. It also has toggles that install on the back of the controller for racing games, etc. The elite also comes with extra thumb toggles and a different d-pad if you like one more than another. They are held on magnetically. All in all I love this controller, and feel that it is the best game controller for any console ever made - and I've own/owned almost every console produced.
