Beware of messed up code

Bought two of these from Best Buy. When you scratch off the code, it was printed half off the area. You could only see part of it. Called Best Buy customer service and they said we could bring them back and exchange them since it was defected merchandise. Well that didn’t work. Best Buy physical store told me I had to call Microsoft. Microsoft had me call Xbox. After about a 30 minutes on the phone. Sending pics of the receipt and the cards, finally got the codes told to me. Long ordeal but I did get them. Should be a better way when something like this happens.Guy was nice from Xbox and helpful.
