I like using coded cards instead of a credit card for my Microsoft account. I can keep track of spending and put a throttle on my son's purchases. I do not prefer having my credit card on an account as "a blank check". Xbox has a strange method for entering the card number. I have to enter a purchase into the cart and only then see my account balance. If anyone knows the magic to finding the account balance a better way, I'd like to learn it.

I love using the 50 dollar gift card. I used to buy games on the Xbox store. I'm also waiting till there's a discount on sale to get what I want. If the $100 gift card is not available than the $50 dollar gift card is the next best option.

This is a great item for getting games and stuff on Xbox. the downside is you might need taxes so the amount isn't enough you might need a dollar or 2 more

This item was purchased to place a monetary amount in a specific XBOX account. The gift card performed as designed. Purchase of card was made in person at the local Best Buy. Upon arriving at the location of the XBOX console the card security key was then typed into the account using the controller. Funds were then activated in the account and spent rather frivolously on stuff.

With everythimg moving from physical to digital copies, this is a must have. It helps those who don't want their credit card info on Live as well
