These gift cards can be loaded onto any MS account for on-line purchases across a wide spectrum of apps or in-game purchases. This is not an X-Box live card but I feel these are better because you can spend them on almost anything. and the X-Box Live cards are only for the Live accounts.

This makes a great gift because it lets your friend/loved one, etc. choose whatever they would like to get with it! They can buy a game, map packs, movies, etc! It's also nice if you don't like to pay for online products using your debit card, etc online for security or personal reasons.

It's awesome if your kids like spending money on things that don't really exist. But then again we are taught in school about things that are not true and never question them as adults. So I guess I can't give my kids a hard time about wasting money. They are at least having fun, using their imagination and achieving goals.

Glad I choose best buy during holidays for gift cards. Everywhere else is normally sold out.

Needed to renew my Xbox Live yearly membership and I always use a Xbox gift card for online purchases with Microsoft. Saves me from using my credit card, not that it's a problem. But I just like to use the gift cards instead. The points go right into your Xbox/Microsoft acct. so you can use them for anything really.
