I got this as a gift. I'm a moderate gamer and have two XBox 360s in the house. It solidified my whole "Buy 4 XBox Live Memberships" every year. Everyone has their own login and it plays so nicely with my NAS Drive, Media Center PC, Macs, and everything else. It's now the center of a multi-room digital entertainment system. Microsoft did a great job with this box! As soon as the TV tuner stick can record and be the center of my whole home media system, I'll give it another two stars.

If you're going to upgrade to the Xbox One, I feel that this is the bundle to get. The package offers a lot of versatility, and you get three games in the box. The 1 TB size hard drive is great and necessary when you consider that you'll need to install every game that you want to play. You'll need the extra space pretty quickly, and I would be frustrated if I had the 500 MB hard drive. The three included games are enjoyable and give you a lot to play right out of the box: - Gears of War Ultimate Edition is an amazing remake of the original with crisp graphics, updated controls, and great campaign, and a good online community. - Ori and the Blind Forest is a terrific platforming adventure that will remind you of the games or your youth, but it also shows off the gorgeous graphics that the Xbox One can put out. - Rare Replay is the weakest game that's included, but you should get some enjoyment out of playing some old school games. My only complaint is that there aren't two controllers in the box, but that's pretty standard for consoles these days. Overall, it's a terrific bundle where you get enough space for game storage and a lot of gameplay out of the box to get you started with a new system.

In terms of the 1TB console bundles, this is definitely one of the best deals out there. (Seriously, don't even bother with the 500GB consoles. Xbox One games eat up 50 - 60GB each and you already lose about 150GB from all the required content on the hard drive.) I only got the Xbox One because all of the new games I want to play are on them. Graphics and performance wise, it's only a slight improvement over the 360, not nearly as drastic as the improvements from Xbox to Xbox 360 (I do have a 720p 32" TV, so perhaps I'm not seeing the full potential of this system yet.) The Rare Replay is a great deal and will provide plenty of cool games to play. The new interface will take a little getting used to, but has a somewhat familiar feel to it. My only major gripe is the lack of a mic and headset. These newer consoles are all but forcing you to play online (Halo 5 co-op, anybody?), so a mic and headset should come just as standard as a controller.

Got a great deal at Best Buy

It seems we were forced into upgrading from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One, since alot of the new games are only being made for the One. With that in mind we went ahead and purchased the Xbox One 1Tb, and saved about $110 by buying at Best Buy. We received a $50 Best Buy gift card, and a free Xbox One game of our choice ($60 value). We were able to choose the new COD Black Ops 3 as our free game, and that's not to mention that the Xbox One 1Tb we purchased was a bundle that included Gears of War, Ori, and 30 Rare Play minigames! My only complaint so far, is the One wants you to download every game you play first. This is annoying because it takes time, and you have to keep up with how much space you have or don't have on your hard drive. However, from what everyone says this is better in the long run since you don't have to worry about scratched discs, skipping, and other disc related issues.

I waited for 2 years to upgrade from the 360 to the Xbox one, but now I have to ask myself why I waited. The graphics are amazing, game play familiar with quicker response. I’d suggest upgrading to the 1T hard drive. Came with everything I needed to connect to my TV. Set up was quick and easy. Was up and playing in no time. Backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games makes adds so much more value.

We bought this as a Christmas gift for my son after Christmas as he handled a holiday prank so very well. He loves it. We went with the 1TB as this is a unit he will have for many years and wanted to make sure he would have plenty of room to store downloadable games and save his game progress. We as a family also enjoy all the benefits of Netflix and all the other apps that can be downloaded.

I am very pleased with the purchase of my Xbox One. The TB provides the extra amount of space needed for the larger games that have been coming out. The Rare Replay game is loads of fun and filled with all kinds of nostalgia. Gears of War is as great as ever and looking spectacular in next gen. Ori and the Blind Forest is a beautifully crafted and well made game worthy of any gamer's library. With an expanding roster of games and a TB of memory, the Xbox One does not disappoint.

My children worked all summer and up until Christmas in order to get their very own Xbox One's. My wife and I were so proud of them that we took care of getting them and put their money into savings accounts. My children went on on about what it could do over the Xbox 360's they already had. And I couldn't see what was so great to have to get a new system having just purchasing the 360's the Christmas before. But as I have watched my children playing games I can see so many upgrades and features not present on the 360's. Definitely a good reason to upgrade too many features to possibly list. Sometimes you find your children know something better than you do and we all learn something. Riley

After owning an Xbox 360 for ages, and seriously deliberating on getting the next gen PlayStation, I finally decided on the Xbox One when Microsoft announced backwards compatibility. That, coupled with the Holiday 2015 price drop, sealed the deal. The Holiday Bundle is fantastic, with 1 TB of storage (it fills up fast) and some cool games thrown in (Ori is one of the most beautiful games I've seen in a long time) I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

You may have to spend money on new games, but the inclusion of the favorites in this bundle make it an outstanding value. You'll appreciate the extra storage in the new 1 TB hard drive; and the games are a nice round out for casual or young gamers (Viva Pinata, etc.). Ori and Blind Forest is an excellent addition of the old school platformer (think Metroid) type. The Xbox system itself is quiet and graphically is a great upgrade over the 360 system.

Xbox One is worth upgrading to from the 360. Graphics better, more features, 1 terabyte memory is great for just downloading games and backwards combatibility still let's you play 360 games.

    Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle, note that this bundle, comes with physical disks and redemption code card for the games included in this bundle. As the description may not note, the physical disks in this bundle are for Gears of War Ultimate Edition (with Civilian Anya Multiplayer DLC character) and Rare Replay with Ori being the redemption code card to download the full game. Everything else is pretty much standard of what comes in these bundles, but note, Microsoft did NOT include a basic microphone in this bundle so one will need to be purchased. Though most will wind up ditching the basic microphone for something better.

Went back and forth on getting a new Xbox One in conjunction with using older Xbox 360, so glad I did. I was able to quickly and easily hook up Xbox One to same TV as 360 with both connected to wi-fi/Internet. The graphics and overall set-up between 360 and One are night and day. I am blown away by the enhanced Windows 10 and ease of use.

This gaming system has great graphics, easily navigable home screen, and a large hard drive. The included games were also a big bonus. Having older generation video games on a new generation console creates nostalgia. I also appreciate its DVD/ Blue ray compatibility which helps decrease the clutter in my living room.
