Great system, still working out some of the kinks.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only used the system to play one game so far but I really like it for the amount of apps I have access to! It is an all in one entertainment box!

kinectless is cheaper if you plan on just gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only bought this do to the price. Being cheaper means it didn't come with the kinect. Unfortunately the xbone was designed with kinect in mind so the dashboard interface without it felt clunky to use. I felt that the controller is an improvement over the already great 360 controller. Graphics are good on most games. Not as good as the ps4 but still good.

Very good console...better than expected.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox one is a solid console, much better than I expected and the controller is really, really good. A lot of apps to choose from, but I really hate the game installs, they take way too long. Other than that I can't find anything else bad about it.

Fantastic Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft once again nailed it. This console is sleek and runs well. The controller feels even more natural than the 360 controller did, which was hard to top. The graphics are noticeably improved from the 360. My only complaint is that like most electronics now, the storage space is less than advertised due to system reserves, updates, etc.

A great console for gamers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a multi-console fan, I had everything in the past 25 years. I bought this Xbox One for mostly the platform-exclusives, including the Sunset Overdrive, the Halo: The Master Chief Collection pack, and for many others. The One really took over the place in the living room, co-operating with the TV setup-box, You're gonna get (if you download the apps from the Store) Youtube, Twitch, ReddX, Media Player, sport channels, I almost always watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime on it, and I got even a 3D Blu-ray player under the hood. It has the best controller ever made by manufactures, with the best rumbling triggers, accurate analogs, make gaming process really, really comfy and fun! For $399, it is now a great deal!

Great Console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a great console, look no further. Graphics look stunning!!! It really blows the 360 out of the water. The controller is very comfortable too. I usually have a difficult time getting used to a new controller, but had no trouble what so ever with this one. The ability to snap live tv is great, especially during football season. My only complaint is there is no HDMI pass through. So, if you run your cable through the One, it has to be on in order for you to watch tv. The dash board can be a little unusual to navigate right out of the box, but if you're a windows 8 user, you'll have no problem. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had post poned the purchase of the xbox one after reading that it is not 1080p but instead 900p. The ps4 looked like a better deal especially after microsofts snafu rolling the product out. Since thier corrections price wise I decided to purchase it and have not been disappointed by its preformance not only as a gaming machine but as a entertainment hub of our home as well.

Great for casual gamer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased with the sole purpose of playing FIFA 14 and the upcoming FIFA15. FIFA 14 runs smooth with amazing graphics. I have not lost connection to serve once over the past month and a half. I also bought Titan Fall which runs smooth as well, also no problems with servers. Connection to serve is a big deal to me... The "snap to the side" feature sounds neat, but it makes your game area smaller so I don't use it often. It is not a quiet console. if you stick it inside a cabinet, you won't hear it but if your cabinet is open, you will hear it. The controller feels comfortable but it is 100% individual preference.

Good overall but not without some issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My system suffered from the noise that apparently a select few systems are afflicted with, labeled commonly online as coil whine. Microsoft was good about it and offered to repair the console, except I had to ship it out for 2-3 weeks. Kinda lame, but at least they are willing to repair it. Hoping that this isn't a sign of things to come and that this generation isn't plagued with manufacturing defects. While I had it, it was a good system with lots of entertainment utility. The platform continues to grow with new and really cool titles forthcoming. Looking forward to many years of fun.

Awesome system

Better than what most people give it credit for.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system is great, it has better exclusive titles than the PS4. You can't go wrong with titles like Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive and Crackdown. In case you haven't heard, the Xbox One's controller is far superior to the PlayStation 4's controller. It feels better, batteries last longer and the Xbox One's exclusive patented technology (the Impulse triggers) give more immersion to the games. For me it makes such a big difference for racing and shooting games but developers are finding even more ways to utilize these into games. The Xbox One also features more stability for online gaming with Live's dedicated servers, in addition you get access to many of Microsoft's exclusive apps such as Skype and other goodies that just aren't available anywhere else. I find that this console has been under-rated by most people who haven't even given it a chance. While the competition is capable of slightly better graphics, your eyes won't even notice it.

good gaming system; next gen console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using Xbox since the first gen console. I really liked the 360, and so I decided to stick with Xbox instead of switching to Playstation. I bought the console without the Kinect because I still find the always listening function really creepy, plus, I hear that most people don't even use the Kinect, and no real games exist for it, yet. I'm really impressed with the graphics, and so far I haven't had a single time that the One has frozen or crashed on me, which is really nice because that has, and still is a major issue with the 360. I expected the start up time to be much faster on the One from the 360, but it either is the same, or is a bit longer, so that is a downside for me. I think the other downside of the One, which is something can be fixed through updates, is the user interface. I found it really confusing, lacking in many access points, and extremely limited in places to go. The 360's interface is still, by far, the best out there. I was expecting a more Windows 8 interface, like the 360 is close to, but it really isn't, and I'm really annoyed that it takes much longer to do most things, unless you know the exact name of something you're looking for. Browsing though games in the market place doesn't exist like it did on the 360, and I don't like that. All in all, the One is a great start to, hopefully, a great system. I like that it can play Blu-ray now, which is nice. The only thing lacking, is the amount of games available, but that will soon change by the end of the year.

Worth the money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well worth the money. You can do a lot more than just games. There are a lot of apps and internet browser. I can't wait to see how it works with Windows 10.

This Box of X is pretty cool
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do you like camping out in a musty bedroom for weeks on end, leaving only for mtn dew, taco bell and to empty your colostomy bag? Buying a box of x will undoubtedly result in you hiding away for an ungodly amount of time, avoiding any and all direct human contact, which will likely result in a vitamin d deficiency. But thats what you get when you don't venture out into the great unknown also referred to as the outside world. (explains why so many gamers are so pale)

Awesome console, but needs a bigger library
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own all three next gen consoles. I am easy to please, and I must say that I love all three systems. That being said, I tend to favor my Ps4 and Wii U over the Xbox One as of now. The Ps4 is just a little more powerful and have been a loyal playstation user for years now. The Wii U has all of the Nintendo exclusives so as long as they keep that going then they will always have a place in my gaming heart. As for the Xbox One, the console that I am here to review, I admit that I do like the system a lot. It has wonderful graphics, the controllers are great, and the interface is pretty dope. I can't really complain about it too much. You are honestly not going to go wrong in choosing a Ps4 or Xbox One. I bought it mainly so I can play Halo when the collection drops this fall, but I've enjoyed the heck out of Titanfall as well. I'd say to check out the game libraries and pick a console based on your preferences. Or just get all 3 ;)

Great system, but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, let me say that this is a VERY good system. The fact that you can resume the last game you are playing without having to watch the initial load stuff is amazing, and the graphics are amazing of course. Even adding another controller was easy. That being said, there are a few very minor things. You apparently (at least I couldn't find out how to) can't set up the system without having internet access for it. That threw out my idea of using it offline for awhile. Also, the games seem to all download a lot onto the system, which means the space goes a lot faster. That being said, it's still a very nice system.
