Disclosure: we aren't "gamers". More like a casual players. Though "disappointed" (I'm being kind) it isn't backward compatible -- it doesn't play Xbox 360 games-- we learned SOME brands/games will be playable on the One in the near future. That's a problem if u were trading in your 360 unit and expected to be able to still enjoy your library of 360 games, which basically have little- to no-trade value. But that's my only knock on it. Xbox now requires a download all for disc games (retail), so price check various bundles and hard drive limits. U should be able to connect your external drive or USB flash drive to increase your HD memory as needed. With 1TB and only owning a few Xbox One games so far, I don't have that concern yet. Watching ESPN via its App is great with a hard wire Internet connection-- I didn't try it over WiFi. I haven't yet tried the BluRay movie capabilities, but bought the remote (not included) when I'm ready. Like usual, only 1 wireless controller is included. I would have rated it a "5" if it played the 360 games. I'm pleased that the kiddo is pleased.

Madden 16 bundle package is fantastic- 1TB hard drive combined with Madden 16 digital download. The graphics are off the chain, especially on the Samsung curved 4K UHD TV I just bought also from Best Buy). The game packs are pretty cool- gave them to my son since he is an Ultimate Team junkie. The play selections are boundless- can choose any style offense or defense and the player creation feature is great (it's the only way I can ever beat my son in Madden!) So many cool features with Xbox One- just now configuring all my apps that I had on my 360, and there are so many more new ones to try. Can't wait to play NHL 16 on it and will be signing up for NHL Gamecenter app as soon as it's available. Blu Ray feature is cool as well- allowed me to free up space by giving my old Blu Ray player to my mom. Looking forward to the backward compatibility feature that is coming soon, as I currently have both my and Xbox One hooked up to my TV.

Had Xbox One for 2 days before it began starting up on its own, when I would simply walk by the console, or sit down (and I don't have Kinect). It would chirp at me, but not turn on; or rapidly chirp, as if it's starting up and shutting down in rapid succession. Then, it began shutting down on its own. I contacted Best Buy; they said I was 3 days out of the return/exchange program, which, I thought was lame. I called Xbox support and they said I was Out-of-Warranty (we're at 31 days old, now). I called Best Buy back and they did nothing to help. What a waste of $427.99, for something brand new, that no one supports. The impression I got was, that everyone wanted to make sure it wasn't their problem; and I spent hours on the phone, ultimately, to find that out. Someone from Best Buy even said my Xbox One was discontinued. Need I say more? Oh, and p.s. I have no Best Buy store near me-that was the point of ordering online. But, clearly they had no care for my problems.

When i bought this it was supposed to come with an Xbox Gold membership. All i got was the Madden code and the EA acess code. I've called both xbox support, and bestbuy to fix the situation. First i was told by xbox that I would have to contact Bestbuy, which i did. After getting the run around for 45 minutes i was told i will get a code for a 1 month trial and to give it 24 hours for the email. I waited 2 days and no email no code. So I called back the second day and was told how they were sorry and then offered me a code for 3 months of xbox live to keep me a happy customer again they said it could take up to 24 hours for the email. Well its been about a week now! And still no email with a code. When ever i call i just get hung up on or just the run around again. If this is how you treat your customers than i will no longer be doing any business with bestbuy. I will not do any doing at all with you guys until my problem is fixed!!!

Overall, I really like this Xbox. I bought a PS4 at launch, and I'm finally hopping on to the Xbox bandwagon as well. The user interface is definitely more polished and attractive than the PS4, and the controller is hard to beat, but this system is not without its warts. The huge installs that are even required with a physical disc are a huge pain, especially if you have a slower internet connection like I do. Because of this, whenever I pick up a new game, it will be at the very least 2-3 hours before I can actually play it. This also makes a large external hard drive a must, but thankfully I found a 4TB hard drive for about $90 also at Best Buy. All in all, I really like it and I think that it will be a really good machine over the long haul.

Awesome package deal if you are looking to finally take the plunge...finally upgraded a very old xbox360, the extra ea access for a year is great; the larger hard drive is also nice, BUT...be aware.. out of the box you have only 780GB...which.. still..is a ton of space...but certainly didn't expect to have 220GB gone with system files... Still a great value. And with the upcoming backward compatible features for older 360 games... it was time to finally move up:)

I bought this on the day it came out and i LOVE it!!! not only do you get madden 16 you also get 12 months of EA Access FREE!!!! if you don't know about EA Access, basically, EA puts games in a vault every month or so and you can download them and play them on your xbox1 for as long as you have your membership. think of netflix except that the games never disappear from the list and these are full versions of the game plus dlc packs all free.. best purchase for me so far.. i had a ps4 before but xbox one has all the great games right now..

The Xbox One is a great console for both gaming and entertainment. Would definitely recommend to buy the 1 TB console because the new gaming consoles make you automatically download your disc games onto the hard drive which takes up all the space on your xbox pretty quick. Especially since most games use 30 or more GB. I looked into buying this or going with PS4 and it doesn't matter both consoles make you download the game to the hard drive before you can play them. Definitely get a 1 TB console especially if you play alot of games.

I've wanted to pickup an Xbox One for quite some time. The value of this bundle is pretty great. I wasn't overly familiar with EA Access prior to purchasing, but I think it's my favorite part of this bundle. I've now got several games on my system: NHL 15, NBA 15, FIFA 15, Battlefield 4, Peggle 2...that I wouldn't have had without EA Access. I typically slowly build a game library after purchasing a console, and this has allowed me to build my game library much quicker.

If you're a fan of Madden and looking to make the jump to next gen this a great way to start. The 1TB of storage is plenty for your favorite games and the value of Madden 16 and EA Access is the best way I can think of to start a gaming collection! EA Access alone offers about $500 worth of games with more to come for only $30 a year.

I wish I would of gotten a different game. Madden is not what it used to be. There are way better deals out there, for example there are deals that give three games even an extra controller. Playing live is great when it does work. However, that is rare. I'm always getting kicked out of CO-OP mode. Imagine playing a game with three other people and everyone getting kicked out and you can't regroup for about an hour. The servers they are using must be from the 80's.

Best buy had a bundle a couple of weeks ago with halo and I tried getting it, When I saw another deal like that I picked it up and told my brother about it and he wanted it but by the time he went to check the deal out it was gone 400 standalone and in the bundle a lot cheaper. This was a birthday present and I will be playing it once I get it plus the financing was awesome thanks best buy.

As a 34 yr old that's been gaming since the Atari days, video games have come a long, long way. I had high hopes for the One but didn't fully comprehend just how fantastic this console was until I had one myself. The interface and XBL is leaps and bounds better than it was on the 360. Everything is just a few button presses away. All in all, extremely happy with my purchase and glad I stuck with the XBox.

I absolutely love my xbox 1. The graphics are unbelievable and are amazing. I would highly recommend this to someone, thinking of upgrading from an xbox 360. This is a great product, and the price might seem spendy, but it's really not, it used to be $500 when it came out in Novemeber 2013. Awesome product, I highly recommend buying it. Madden NFL 16 is also a great game. Graphics are amazing, and the game is so realistic!

Love the Xbox one. Only gripes I have with it is the OS takes up about 250 gigs of space. Which means you're left with a little over 750 gigs on your HD. All games (physical disc and digital) have to be installed, which takes a while and space. Also, the OS seems a little slow. Switching between apps and snapping apps on screen take a bit to load. Figured it would be quicker for "Next Gen Hardware".

I bought the Xbox One for my little brother's 13th birthday and he loves it! I bought him the Madden Bundle, but the only thing is that it doesn't come with the actual Madden disc... perhaps it's pre-downloaded onto the console? I'm not sure, but I know we didn't get a physical copy of the game. Not a huge deal, we bought it for the 1TB hard drive, not the game, but it'd be nice to know where that is.

The XBox One system is incredible. Madden 2016 is also an excellent game. However, the fact that you can't carry over players for EA Sports games from year to year and a new game is released each year, makes online pack purchases a huge waste of money as they retain no value after a year and the chances of getting good players with purchase packs are extremely low.

Great graphics, multimedia performance, came with free Madden and Ea access for one year which sweetens the deal. Now also have backwards compatibility with some Xbox 360 games and more to follow. Would most probably be better deals for Black Friday but no regrets . Did a trade in , had gift card, reward certificates.. Finally ended up with a great deal

I have enjoyed the features that Xbox One has to offer. Great bundle with the 1TB and Madden 16 included. Only downfall is that it only had one controller, which is standard for mostly all gaming system bundles. Be prepared to spend a little more money on another controller unless you are only planning on playing solo and online. Overall great purchase.

The new 1 tb hard drive is nice. Also i am looking foward to the new dashboard coming soon. I was a huge 360 fan but have since switched to ps4. I bought this bundle to play gears ultimate edition and madden and am pretty happy. I originally returned my day one console but am giving xbox one another try. There is hope with titles like gears and halo.
