||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am late to the party in switching to the Xbox one from the 360, but worked out perfectly in getting the one s because of the 4k blu ray playback capabilities. The picture quality of gaming is incredible. It sometimes takes a little time for 4k uhd discs to play, but well wortg the wait. The biggest drawback to the xbox 1, and why i rated at 4 stars and not 5, is that you are forced to download all the games onto harddrive. You buy a new game, bring it home....and you can't even play it right away...have to wait 15, 20 minutes for it to download from the disc. And you still NEED the disc in the console to play it.

Excellent gaming system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Xbox One S as a gift for myself after also purchasing a new Samsung 65" 4K UHD HDR tv this holiday season. After buying the 4K tv I wanted a 4K blue ray player to replace my DVD player. This new Xbox costs about the same as a 4K blue ray player, with the added benefit of being an outstanding gaming system that does a good job upscaling games to 4K. My only reservation was the news that Microsoft is likely to launch a next gen gaming system that is true 4K gaming in late 2017, but I wanted this as much for the 4K blue ray as for gaming and recognize that new system will likely cost more than I paid for this XBox.

Great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for me and my kids for Christmas. Best Buy had it at a great price and it was well worth it. I was looking at the 500GB model as well, but I'm glad I went with the 1TB. After putting only 5-6 games on, I'm over half-way full on the memory. Hard drives don't cost a lot, really, but it is much easier to just have it all on one. And I can easily expand in the future instead of right now.

Love my new gaming system!

Best Buy has a good deal for this bundle . I've only had PlayStation so I have to get used to the interface. The 4K graphic makes Battlefield 1 look beautiful, definitely much better than the original PS4. Combining that with the Astro A40 TR and Mixamp Pro for XBox 1, I'm enjoying my gaming experience a lot more now.
