This controller came out around July 2015 and it has the normal headphone jack. It also has bumper buttons where the entire button pushes instead of prior controllers which had the bumper buttons hinged on one end. I have old controllers too and I personally can't tell any performance improvement of the new bumpers. They certainly feel different, but they work the same as the old ones. The green armed forces and blue midnight forces are the old bumper button design and those do not have the normal headphone jack.

I really like this controller it feel a bit sturdier than the regular one. It's also the best looking controller they've made.

By far this is my favorite looking controller that Xbox has come out with. I love the Halo look this has, great color combo.

It's a controller, it's pretty. There's not much else to say, other than maybe grab some rechargeable batteries to play it.

I got this free with the Gears of War bundle. Blue is my favorite color and I just like the way this controller looks.

Good design and the controller finally has a built in 3.5mm headphone jack so you do not need to buy the adapter for it.

No complaints about the Xbox One controller. Solid like the standard black Xbox wireless controller. Easy to set up with the Xbox One system, as expected. This controller is only different because of the different colors and coordination for the Halo game. I got this during the sale, where it came with a rechargeable battery stand for free. If you really want the Halo coloring, then I would recommend. Otherwise, save the few bucks and get the black wireless controller.

Love the feel of this controller and with the new 3.5 mm headphone outlet makes it that much nicer and added value.

This controller was purchased in error. It is for the XBox one and I actually needed one for the XBox 360. The limited edition version is nonetheless, very neat, the color is great, and design as well. I wish it was for the system we have!

This controller looks awesome with the blue and black paint. Well made too, not just a cheap sticker put on controller.

I love the color instead of just using the plain black one! It has a smooth feeling when holding the controller.

This controller is stunning in its design and innovation, although some more unique identifiers or features could have been implemented it is still an all around controller and great for gaming with a comfortable relaxed grip.

This might be the best videogame controller I've ever used. It's only really different from the one that came bundled with my Xbox One in that it has a built-in stereo headphone jack. I'm really glad they came out with a controller with this feature built in, since I've been so close to pulling the trigger on a $25 adapter for my first controller, but I needed a second one anyway, so boom! I love the modern camo look and the feel and weight of the controller. It has issues syncing to my console sometimes, though. Not sure what the problem is there, but it's not nearly enough for me to not recommend this. Good gaming to you!

Just like my XBox One, this is a great piece of hardware. Love the new design without the bump for a battery pack.

When I bought this and opened it up I was amazed at the detail it had on it and I liked the colors and design
