Messy Windows Structure, But A Fun Gaming System

I'm just writing about this bundle that I purchased, so keep that in mind. The Xbox One console is very cool. I owned an Xbox 360 and upgraded to the XB1 and don't feel lost in the upgrade. I don't like the use of so many darned tabs. If you don't like Windows 10, you're not going to like this. Moving between different options is a bit of a pain, also. But the graphics and sound are really good so far and I'm looking forward to trying out new games on it. The LEGO Movie game it came with is a lot of fun and looks great. The other big issue I had is with how it stores game info. You need to install every game before you play it, which takes up a LOT of memory. I bought the 500gb model between about 4 or 5 games it is 1/4th full already. Overall, this is a decent system with a lot of features and fun games so far. Looking forward to the next few years with it.

First off, I'm not a gamer. I tried, believe me. Personally, I stopped with the Play Station 2, but then kids came along...we bought this for our two kids, because they absolutely don't have enough stuff. Anyway, the set up took FOREVER! From getting characters, setting up passwords, THEN finding out you have to pay a one time fee of $1 each because the kids aren't 18. Also, finding out that even if you buy some games, to save them you have to pay a dollar....the graphics are awesome, the controls are easy, but the money seems to be adding up. Also, because no one told us, there is a $10 a month fee that you have to pay in order to play some games as well. Again, coming from someone who knows only Nintendo from back in the day, and Play Station from long ago, if I'm paying $300 dollars or more for a system, I am not happy that I'm shelling out more money for nothing....but that is just me talking.

My son really wanted the xbox one after acquiring it for his 8 birthday i relized how much effort is put into finding games with E or T ratings. I was also shocked to see you needed internet for its intial setup. You might want to download any apps. You will use after setup just to get it out the way i downloaded hulu, youtube (this is a must for online gaming it put advice right there.) also a dvd playing app. There is others as well you just download what you want. They are working great for us. 2 player mode was tricky for me you have to have two accouts signed in or sign in a guest under your accout I would highly recomend you purchasing a battery charging station for the controllers i went through the first pair of duracell battries in a week the second pair lasted about a week as well then i just brought a charging station.

We purchased this for our 10 year old son, as his 'BIG' Christmas gift. We chose this system because we needed to replace his original XBOX 360, it finally crapped out on us after @4+ years of use and abuse. Our son loved his 360 games, so a big reason that we choose this system, was so he could still play those already bought and paid for favorites we have collected over the years! We have spent quite a bit on games, and we were thrilled to know we wouldn't have to buy them all over again! This system has more features and it's faster than the original. We've had it now for over 2 years, and it's still running like new with no lag or disc reading errors! So I'd say this one it's a good bet!

The XBOX ONE is definitely a step up from the 360. The graphics are great and the newer games really use the extra power and capabilities to give you more. This bundle is a great value, although it doesn't include the Kinect it still has everything you need to get started. Hook it up with your Cable/Satellite box to fully experience what it has to offer and turn it into a media center. The Lego game is really fun as well and gives the kids a game they can enjoy too. Lots of mini games and different strategies to get through. Didn't really want to upgrade when I did, but seeing the differences for the same game on XBOX 360 it didn't make any sense to continue to buy those games for the same price.

it has nice graphics if you play game but sound quality never goes above 5.1 dolby digital. same goes if you try to watch a blu-ray or dvd or try using one of it's apps. you can bitstream other 5.1 dolby digital 5.1 dts or 7.1 pcm 5.1 pcm or 2ch stereo sound quality are sound quality all xbox one system offer. this is why invest your money in ps4 or ROKU 3 OR ROKU 4 they have games you can download and buy and play on them. and ROKU 4 has 4k support unlike xbox one and ps4 which been promising upgrade and never did them. or get pc with 1tb hard drive and nice graphics card and play most of these console games on computer like gears of wear. titanfall nascar and many others.

For this system the price was too high. This one didn't come with a headset. Of course I assumed it did so I searched the box for a good 15 mins. Even the Manuel showed a picture of it. So stupid. So between the low hard drive space and no headset I should have gotten the other one for the same price most places. This was part of the deal buy this and a tv for $500. They give you the cheapest version of the Xbox One there should have been an option to get a different one. This one and the other we're both $349 originally this one was discounted $50 so you pay $300 for it with the deal. A little disappointing. But otherwise the system works great just not much space.

Santa purchased this Xbox One Lego Movie game bundle for an extremely deserving 5 yr old boy. This purchase is the first gaming console my son has ever owned. I have owned several consoles before and this is by far the best ever! The capabilities are endless! The salesperson who assisted me & umm, Santa was super knowledgeable. He gave me honest advice and assisted me with age appropriate game info. The Lego Movie Videogame is a well put together game. We spent 2 days of our Xmas vacation having "mommy and son" time playing this game until we were done. There are a bunch of secrets we uncovered & keep going back to find more. Best purchase in a long time.

I purchased the X-box One for my kids. It was unreal how long it took to setup. You plug the box in and plug it into the tv. Then you have to connect it to the internet. Then it takes about an hour to download updates(I just bought it??). Once all that is done, you have to register with a Microsoft email address and setup an online accout...etc etc. It really made me miss the days of putting the Nintendo cartridge in and playing a game. Anyway, the graphics are amazing and the kids seem to enjoy it. I do like the fact that they have implemented parental controls to limit my kids online activity and purchase.

The console works well, and is easy for the kids to figure out. The fact that some games require xbox live accounts is ridiculous, and there are no games available for little girls on the xbox one. There are however plenty of girls games for the xbox 360, and when I was buying the console I had a little girl with me. You would think that the salesperson would ask some questions about if she was going to be playing it and let me know about the lack of games available. Poor choice on Xbox's part as well as the salesperson. That is a huge dissatisfier.

I love the XBox One. The graphics are awesome on games. My 2 complaints are that you have to install every game onto the hard drive whether they're digital or disc. This eats up the hard drive space quickly. I don't know why disc games need to be installed onto the system, especially since you need to put the disc in the play. My other complaint is the user interface is really geared towards Kinect. If you don't have connect, it's not very user friendly. I've gotten used to it, but I liked the 360 interface better.

I had purchased an Xbox 360 because of Mass Effect (thought that is now available on Playstation). When Fallout 4 came out and I realized I would need either a new PC or a new console to play it on, the choice was simple. The Xbox one aside from being a great console, fixes a lot of the mistakes Microsoft made with the 360. The pass through feature lets me plug my cable box into the xbox one and the using an IR blaster, control the cable box with my controller. I'm enjoying this console a great deal.

We bought the Xbox One as a Christmas gift for our children. You would not believe the excitement on Christmas morning when they opened it. Even our 19 year old daughter was excited as the 10 & 14 year olds. I was hesitant about buying it because of the cost but what a great investment. Our whole family plays on it and love it. I would also recommend purchasing Lego Dimensions to go with it. It has done a lot to help our kids with problem solving and work as a team to complete tasks.

My son is not into war, fantasy or first person shooter games yet, so the Lego Movie bundle was really my only option. He loves the Xbox One itself. My only complaints are the lack of game variety and lack of family friendly games. XBox does have more variety than PS4 but when it comes to variety and family friendly games, Nintendo puts both Xbox and PS4 to shame. I understand their core demographic but I think they can do better. As a whole this conscole is a success at my house.

I have heard multiple review on Xbox One over PS4. I use both Ps4 and Xbox One. Well, as a game console both have their pros and cons. with Xbox One what i have noticed is the smoothness of the game is much better compared to PS4. Graphics wise it always depends on the game you are playing. If you are willing to spend more than 50 $ on a high end - high graphic game. Believe me, you wouldnt notice any difference between both Ps4 and Xbox consoles. Iam glad with my purchase.

My son asked for a game station for months and I really didn't want to get one for him because I want his attention on homework and playing outside. However, he wanted to be able to play games with his friends when they are over (which is a lot). He and I researched between an Xbox one and a ps4 and he liked the fifa16 reviews better, as well as other feedback we learned. He got this for his 12th birthday and he loves it!

We upgraded from a Nintendo Wii. This system has been everything we had hoped and then some. My daughters actually love racing in Forza Horizon 2. I still haven't even connected it to our cable system but I intend to do so when I get some time to set it up properly. I am hoping for this to become the main interface for TV as well as our PLEX media server for our pictures and music. All around great package.

Great Bundle at a good price. We bought this for ours kids. Good investment considering that it also has a built in DVD/Blue Ray player. Our kid’s room does not have cable television so we stream Netflix though the Xbox One. The Xbox one itself has great graphics and sound. I think the power pack it a little on the big side. We have no regrets on this purchase and neither do our kids . . LOL

So far i love this system for gaming. However, i was really hoping to make this more of a media console for the main room. It works ok for that , but one of the key functions i wanted was the voice command option with the kinect. That has been really lack luster so far though. Other than that, the system works great, and has good apps/games to keep you entertained.
