Nice design. Smooth and easy to handle remote. Works great

I like the feel of the controller compared to the 360s controller but it's a little on the thick side. I'm not sure if it's the controller I had or if it's just the way the Xbox one controller works but sometimes if I play with my controller not pointing directly at my xbox it disconnects. Otherwise great for a standard controller.

we like thwm but will get the elite when the money is right my daughter is happy and when ger friends come over she like two controls however she wish that xbox 360 or x box one come up with a plan to lat to people have head phone when playing the same game

You buy an XBox One controller and you expect it to work like a charm...and it does. Just get it home, take it out of the package, connect to the Xbox and start playing your games. Setting up a controller is easier than getting most games started these days.

I like the feel of this controller better than the 360. I just wish Microsoft would include the rechargeable battery instead.

I wanted a controller to use with my Windows 10 PC, so that I could more easily play some of the action games in my Steam library. So far, this controller has worked flawlessly. The only thing I don't like is having to disconnect it from the computer to get it to shut off. It would be nice if it had an on/off switch.

Sometimes, it's the smallest adjustments that make the biggest difference. This is one of those cases. While not greatly changed from the previous generation, this controller just feels better in the hand and I don't feel hand and wrist fatigue if I get sucked into a late night game session. The battery life with a rechargeable battery is decent. AA's will last a couple of days of heavy use... maybe a week, so get a rechargeable kit ASAP. The Energizer kit is a good choice there.

I needed to have two Xbox One controllers instead of one. Giving it a five stars because it does it's job and I get free Best Buy points. I would recommend this product if you enjoy not playing games alone and want to not have to keep handing your controller over to the person who sucks at playing your game.

i bought this controller for use as an extra controller for multiplayer on my child's xbox. it works as it should and you don't have to worry about tangled cords. even off to the side of game screen it still works like the older wired controllers. i would definitely recommend buying the wireless controllers.

Bought this to replace an older controller (that didn't have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and) which had developed right-joystick drift. Very happy with this upgrade. One issue....the plastic edges on the side of the controller are sharp on the one purchased and I can feel it when handing the controller. I checked the other two older controllers that I have and there is no sharpness to the edges of the grip which sit against the palm of my hand near the base of my thumb. The sharpness is truly evident when running my fingers along the plastics edge and is a little bothersome. Other than that, I couldn't ask for a better quality performing stock controller. :)

Great controller, though we've never really had a bad controller when purchasing a Microsoft brand controller. That said, it probably would have been worthwhile to get the controller + play and charge pack for $75 vs. paying $60 for the controller and later another $25 for the play and charge kit.

I was fortunate enough to get this for the brief window of being in stock and it came with Halo 5 for free. I needed another controller anyway and with the game bring the "real" cost down it made me pull the trigger and snatch up. Also the reviews are almost perfect and it is a sought after item.

There isn't too much to say about this. It works just like the controller that came with the system. I just wish I would have realized that I can connect more than two controllers at a time while I still had the Christmas credit card out. Now I"ll have to wait for my birthday to get another one.

It's a basic XBOX One controller. You push buttons and stuff happens on the XBOX. The build quality is good. The button actions are good. The vibration is good. You might want to look into rechargeable batteries because the standard AA batteries get used up after about 4 hours of play time.

The controller has been working great. It's been months and I'm still using the same batteries. I prefer the Xbox controller layout more than any other out there. A small part of me wishes there were still those older controllers that were huge for the original xbox, but these one's work well.
