One of these controllers came with Xbox bundle I purchased and I was so pleased, I went back and bought a second one. Kids can play their games without being tied to console. They can play from anywhere in room giving them much needed room to spread out. It also charges impressively quick.

This controller is the updated one with the fixed bumpers and audio outlet on the bottom, this is what the original controller should of been. Best for console and pc, I wouldn't say upgrade if you have previous model but if your getting a Xbox one controller make sure it's the newest model.

Reliable, durable, easy to use and feels good in you hands, could be slightly lighter and fluid proof.

I received this with the bundle for free during black friday. It was a good deal because this wireless controller is pricey. With this, you don't have to sit directly in front of the tv since it's wireless. The only thing is, you'll have to buy batteries or buy the charger for it.

Wireless controllers were one of the best inventions ever created, and Microsoft is the leader in this. The One controller feels smooth and fluid, with quick response to button pushes and a sturdy design. I bought an extra one for Christmas so my wife, daughter and I could play.

I don't know what else to say other than this controller has a very premium feel to it. I always have used the microsoft branded controllers, and I will continue to do so. The build quality is great, and it has stood up to everything I have thrown at it so far. Would buy again.

    Great Except for Battery Use...

I have no complaints, other than they are still using batteries for Xbox One controllers. On the plus side, they do now have micro USB ports on the controllers. I use my Samsung Note 5 charger to power my controller. Not bad, as long as you can sit next to a power outlet.

Feels good in the hands the only thing about Xbox controls is that they aren't built to last. They are very fragile and they break easily. The down side is that it doesn't come with with a built in battery like the ps4 but over all it's a good looking control but the vibration sounds annoying g instead of smooth and on game point but cheers

Why was this not the original?

Why was this not included on the original design? I have no idea, but the new 3.5 jack is freaking awesome. I would definitely recommend the new controller over the old one. The 3.5 jack works with normal headphones for just audio or with headsets for chat. Great addition.

This is the perfect, exact match to the controller that comes with the Xbox in the package (which was important so that one child doesn't feel "special" -- they need to match). Once again, Best Buy had the best price, selection, and free & quick shipping. Thank you!!

This controller is vastly better over the Xbox 360 controller, and the new headphone jack, rather than the proprietary Microsoft jack, is a huge improvement. Trigger pressure response and pressure sensitivity in the buttons is a lot better than the old 360 controllers.

Literally. A must have to play games on the Xbox One. You can try playing games using only the Kinect, but that will only get you so far. You'll need this controller to get the most out of your system. Don't settle for cheap imitations. The official one is the best.

Works great. The 3.5mm headphone jack worked no problem with generic buds/mic but did NOT work with Apple headphones. I never knew you could set the Xbox One to output audio to headphones this way. Nice for when the girlfriend wants to watch videos online.

This new version of the Xbox One controller features a headphone jack. The quality of a decent pair of headphones will sound great with the controller. Just don't bother using a more high up pair of headphones as the sound quality does drop noticeably. The trigger button molds are slightly less than the launched Xbox One controller, but the differences are not as noticeable. I recommend it for sure.

A Microsoft controller for a microsoft Xbox. Doesn't get much more straight forward than that. Comes with good Duracell batteries but I just switched it out right away for a rechargeable setup. That is my only gripe with Xbox. WHY ARE WE USING BATTERIES!?!

The Xbox 360 controller used to feel pretty good in my hands. Then I spent the last few years mostly playing the Wii-U with the big-ol game pad and now the 360 controllers are tiny in my hands. These are tiny like that. But I am learning. I am adapting.

If you play X-Box One than having a backup controller is a must. I suggest buying the rechargeable batteries and keeping them plugged into the wall so if the ones in your controller run low you can swap them out and you don't have to loose any gaming time.
