Much needed second controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After purchasing the Xbox One, we quickly realized we would need at least one more controller in order for the kids to play together or with friends (either at home or virtually). This controller works just fine and we will be purchasing a few more.

Excellent build and performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really feels great in the hand. Performance with turtle beaches is supurb. The new aux port is an added bonus allows you to plug just about anything in and play. I had the controller that came with the day one edition and the new one is 10x better.

Hands down best Microsoft Controller to date!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being a gamer for more than 25 years, never has a controller been this perfect. Having a spot on d-pad and excellent ergonomics, this is the controller of choice. Been using one with my PC ever since Microsoft released drivers for it, zero regrets.

Perfect controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be by far the best controller from a manufacturer that I've ever used. Fits perfectly in hand. Buttons feel great. It just feels like Microsoft put so much time and effort in making this the best possible and were able to accomplish this.

Does what it is supposed to do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft's standard controllers for the Xbox One are comfortable, while keeping the same overall feel from the well-recieved Xbox 360 controllers. The addition of the rumble in the triggers is a nice touch. Some games can abuse this however and drain the batteries very fast. Overall, I would recommend a rechargable battery pack instead of the default battery one that comes with it.

Gotta have another one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It stinks Microsoft doesn't just go ahead and put 2 controllers in the Xbox console but whaddaya gonna do...buy another one. So while the price may be a little steep, it's a great and necessary item to have so multiple people can play together.

Nice enough controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice enough controller. Good shape, good weight, button layout / thumb sticks / triggers & bumpers all good. However, the controller feels a bit off as compared to using my good ol' Xbox 360 controller. Hard to pinpoint why, but the new standard controller just isn't as nice - it certainly is not bad and nothing specifically wrong with it, just missing something in how it feels.

Overall a solid controller.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a controller. Anyone that's used a Microsoft peripheral knows that they do a really good job on them more often than not, and this is certainly no exception. Having large hands, I like the way the controller feels when I hold it, and by and large, the buttons are no issue. The New thumb sticks are fantastic. The haptic feedback (the triggers vibrate) is a little jarring at first, but you get used to it pretty quick. Especially nice is that the battery life is great, assuming you are using quality disposables or the Play-and-Charge kit (After 20 hours of play time in Halo 5 I only had to charge it once). Only real down side is actually the shape of the triggers and shoulder buttons. There's a very smooth transition between them, which is both a gift and a curse. Let's just say there have been a few friendly-grenade casualties.

Great controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use to have the original XBOX with the giant controller. These new controllers are great. Ergonomic, and everything easily usable. I used to have a PS3 as well and the controllers were not that comfortable, not to mention, they fell apart.

Wireless game controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller was the same one that the game system came with, so setup was very simple. It makes games more fun and adds to the gaming experience when you have multiple controllers. We plan to add at least 2 more to our current system.

Great Controller - the only way to go
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My original Xbox one wireless controller failed from the constant play time. This is the best option for gaming on the platform. I checked for alternatives and the best rated third party controllers were wired and did not support voice.

Playing with friends is more fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My new xbox one came with only 1 controller. I got a good deal on this one and can now play with another person, or at least, my friends don't have to bring a controller. The controller is a Microsoft one for xbox, so it works great.

New and Improved
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Glad to have purchased this new controller since it has the 3.5mm headset jack so that you can plug your headphones directly into controller. This was purchased as a 2nd controller for those times when friends are over and want to play.

satisfactory controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sleek, good hand feel. Disposable batteries don't seem to last as long compared to xbox 360 controllers. I thought the controller was faulty when it wouldn't connect (needed an update), how can you update an unconnectable wireless controller without a cable or Kinect camera/voice functions?? What if I didn't have a kinect?? Updates need to be more user friendly.

Great Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought some headsets for my controllers that I first got with my Day One console and the headsets didn't work. But I was happy to know that the headset buy was not a mistake because they work with these version 2 controllers. :)

Just what I was looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for the new controller that would allow me to wirelessly update my controller and would also allow me to plug in a non-Microsoft headphone and microphone without the need for the adapter and this worked perfectly.

Nice controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great feel to this controller. I like the way it grips my hands back when I squeeze it. And it has the headphone jack in the bottom for my original turtle beaches!!! Beware bc the original Xbox one controllers don't have this jack
