Excellent box, great fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beyond video game (I have to admit I am not a good gamer so I actually gave uo the Assasian ganes), the Kinect is such a great fun. I play dance central (came with the box) at fitness mode--which as fun, heart pumping and calory burning. I bought dance 2015, which was fun especialy with kids, family and friends. Great motion control with Kinect! I also use it for Skype--the picture quality is better than a Galaxy tablet (don't let pixel number fool you. 2M is not necessarily better than VGA in video) It also plays bluray disct well. Surfing internet in no problem (better to get a xbox control app on your tablet so you can use it as a keyboard)

Different than the 369
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox one is amazing the only issue is it is very different than the 360 and takes a little getting used to but other than that graphics are amazing and kinect is ten times better

A bandwidth hog
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The X-Box One appears to be a great gaming system and my 16 year old son is certainly happy with it. My problem with the system is that it is a bandwidth hog. It seems like it is constantly downloading updates and slowing down other access to the internet. It completely shuts down everyone else's connections when he plays games on line. All of the games have to be loaded onto the hard drive to play. We have the 500GB hard drive, but many of the games are more than 40GB. After loading a game, you often have to wait for it to download updates. Maybe I am old school, but I miss the days when you could place a disc into a gaming system and start playing without any internet connection.

Nice console hardware, games feel pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for myself as a Christmas gift along with a couple of other Xbox One accessories. So far, after having finally connected this all up after migrating from the older Xbox 360, I am overall impressed with the new console. Although my biggest disappointment mimics that of many other adopters in that you cannot use older XB360 game discs, purchased Arcade content from Live. These games are seemingly quite expensive and they all take up various HDD storage once they are loaded to play.

So glad I got this
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am still getting used to the OS interface layout vs the 360 but the kinect makes navigation a cinch! Very responsive, I especially like the automatic recognition feature. HUGE WIN = ONE GUIDE which seamlessly allows you to SEe your TV guide instead of clicking through descriptions. I especially like being able to ask what's on TBS etc and it changing my channel for me, no more searching for remotes! It also has a DVR feature, less known about but totally cool, Skype calls are flawless, and I can even stream right from my PC by using the media player app(downloaded) but it puts everything in one convenient spot!!

Great upgrade from 360
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up the Xbox One during Thanksgiving sale. It was a great price on bestbuy.com. It took awhile for it to be shipped but it came with lots of time till Christmas. Graphics looks great, though UI does take some time to get used to.

Would buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do recommend the Xbox One even though I gave 3 stars. I have already had to replace a remote, but Geek Squad made that quick and painless. I do have a few problems with the Xbox freezing up and also recognizing people that are not even home. The controllers seem cheaper made than the ones for Xbox 360. Also when switching to TV after playing a game my screen gets shrunk to about a third it's normal size. But graphics and Game play are pleasant and a lot better than the 360. We are unable to hear the machine running, which is very nice. Or at least until it freezes anyway and makes a grinding noise.

XBOX One is fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased the Assassin's bundle with Kinect. It was a great bargain with 2 Assassin's games and Dance Central. It was very easy to set up though the update download + the game downloads took a while. The kinect sensor picks up the entire family room, even people who don't want to play. It's good with the voice commands, you just need to speak with a normal voice rather than shouting. The graphics are unbelievable. The only downside I've seen so far is how limited the available games are.

Amazing Xbox 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy employees were such a huge help for assisting me in picking out this present. I had surprised my boyfriend with the Xbox 1 bundle with the Kinect, Unity and Titan Fall for Christmas; he was so excited when he opened it, and now, he cannot stop playing. The game works perfect and the system runs beautifully. In addition to getting these great products, I received a free $50 for purchasing the gaming system. I would definitely recommend the Xbox 1 with Kinect to everybody, it honestly creates a better experience while gaming.

Great System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose the XBOX One over the PS4 because I wanted an system that could do a little bit of everything. PS4 might have a little better graphics on multiplatform games, but the difference is hardly noticeable unless you're 2 inches from the screen. The Xbox One allows HDMI passthrough which allows your cable box and tv to be controlled by the XBOX: you can tell your kinect to change channel, volume level, or turn off tv and it will. Apps such as MLB, NBA, Skype work well with the XBOX and Kinect. Games take a while to install, but run smoothly once you are able to run them. Navigation of main pages takes some getting used to but is easy eventually.. The Snap feature is amazing! Being able to watch tv and play a game at the same time is very nice perk. Controller is an improvement over the 360s: feels more comfortable in the hand, DPAD is a huge improve and is a lot more accurate. The vibration is a lot more accurate and is direction focused. System has a big fan but runs very quietly. The mic that comes with the system is solid. System can stay on all day with no issues and when you do shut off and turn it back on, it can pick up right where you left off (even mid game). Definitely recommend this to someone who wants an all in one system.

Awesome Entertainment System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox One is much more then a game system, it's a complete entertainment system. It allows you to hook your cable box into the back using HDMI pass through so you can use it to watch TV. It will then let you "snap" the TV screen to the side while playing games, watching Netflix, etc. You can also control all of this using your voice via the Kinect. Microsoft is also constantly updating the software and adding features so it'll just get better. Definitely recommended for someone who it looking to do more then just play games.

Love my XBOX One, when I have time to play it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the XBOX One with Kinect and 2 controllers. Bought wireless headphones as well! It is great! I don't have a lot of time to play it with a full time job, a wife and 2 young boys in the house.I do the XBOX Fitness with my Kinect quite a bit! But I do like watching Netflix when I get a chance! It's great, and I highly recommend anyone that can afford it to spend the money to purchase it!!!!

Great dead for the bundle!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been waiting on getting the X-Box One until it has been out for a few months. Wanted to avoid any initial release problems (like what was experienced with the 360's "Red Ring of Death" due to inadequate thermal gel on the processor). Bundle comes with the X-Box One and Kinect with are working great, and came with three software downloads (you get three games, not two). The games are available for download only, so you don't get a physical game disc for the games. Highly recommended!!!

Great console, with some glitches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The system is easy to use and the kinect voice commands work well, so long as no other people are talking. I find both COD games have moments where they freeze up. Also, I have had the controllers unresponsive during online play. To remedy this I have to exit out of the game and restart the game. Additionally, 500GB HD nets you 360GB of free space. The last thing ill say is games have to be loaded to the hard drive before you can begin to play, this can be quite lengthy, especially if it is digital content. The graphics are spectacular and the customizable home screen makes managing app management simpler.
