I bought this on Black Friday as a gift for a German friend living in Mexico and I got a great deal, it was like 450 and it came with an extra controller. My friend loved the console and the fact that he was able to play some games that he purchased in Germany. The setup was very easy; we were playing within 20 minutes of unboxing the console. The graphics are pretty good and the Kinect camera works great, allowing him to skype with his family in Germany. It was a great purchase.

I bought this with my 4k tv, and surround sound and us a great fit! I love how it is a all in one entertainment system! I walk in house and say Xbox on and it turns on! Able to give commands while looking for where I lost remote! It naked it easier to flip from games, tv, Netflix, to most apps in a flash! Tell xbox to record and it records! Must have for the finishing touches of a movie theater set up! The bluray player on this is awesome! I also love the 3d on this easy to use!

I asked around before buying from the Best Buy employees about the various gaming systems and the pros and cons of each. Then I asked for recommendations given the ages of my children and how I thought We Might Use it. The overwhelming advice was to get the Xbox One. No regrets here. Love the system and it's versatility. Definitely opt for the Kinect. 500 GB is enough for us (for now) but serious gamers might want to opt for more memory. Xbox Gold Live is also worth adding.

Been playing games on it and the graphics are great but it will freeze up and stop playing at times. The game needs to start over and you loose al of your progress.

My child's father and I decided to buy a gaming system (another one) for our 8 year old daughter. We finally decided on the XBOX ONE and a great decision it was. This is definitely something that will grow with her for the next couple of years! I'm sure he appreciates the surround sound/entertainment system. Our daughter loves the voice command functions. We opted for the kinect version thankfully and haven't stopped moving. Here's to a fitter 2015!

Great bundle package! It came with three games, the Kinect, and an extra controller. The Xbox One Kinect is much better than the Xbox 360's version. The kids love the voice commands for Xbox through the Kinect. We had to buy an external USB 3 2TB drive since the storage capacity is smaller and the games demand a lot more space than before. New profiles had to be setup for each and there is a little bit of a learning curve with the new software. The game play is very smooth and quick. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase and the kids like the new thinner controls.

This bundle is great for people new to Xbox gaming! It already comes with games that you can start playing with after purchasing. Also not to mention Assassin Creed is a really good game, I can keep playing it for hours! The bundle comes with kinect and I personally enjoy playing Just dance with xbox better than wii just because I can move without having to hold anything while dancing. It's a great way to exercise and loose weight!

After having every Xbox version so far (Xbox and Xbox 360), I am so happy to see Microsoft keeps making their gaming systems better and better. I love the HDMI pass through so I now have only one HDMI cable connecting my old 360 tot the One and one cable connecting the One to the TV and I can still enjoy both systems! Only draw back is no backward compatibility on games OR accesories but the Kinect on the One is SO MUCH BETTER!

Got the Xbox One with Kinect more to have when the grandkids are here since I'm a novice and this is my first experience with gaming in many years. Everything was in the box (not always the case). Instructions were a bit non existent so had to use the internet for a number of items. Had setup challenges with Kinect which appears to be pretty standard. No I"m waiting for a 10 year old to stop in to show me what I don't know.

Of course my 9 yr and 15 yr old son love it. They talked me into bc of the graphics and other games coming out only on the xbox one. I have to admit it is fun to play and the graphics even for movies are AWESOME. It plays blue ray but I haven't had time to test it out. I have to admit, I have trouble with the 'voice commands' But this is all operator error and I am sure it will be smoother the more we use it. The product is GREAT!! Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is bc it is still an expensive product and the xbox 360 is efficient at half the price.

Constant improvements are making this system better time after time. I struggled a lot to get a good connection when playing GTA V, but that is probably a problem with Rockstar servers, which seems to be working much better lately. There are a few small things that bother me - Kinect doesn't work great if there's a ton of background noise, but it does work very well when the background is relatively quiet. Easy setup, but when I peeled the protective plastic from my power brick, it left a nasty residue on it. Good thing it's not something that gets seen very often. I'm a little afraid to remove the HDMI sticker on the front of the unit for that very reason. I ran the HDMI from my satellite through this (there's an in and out port, so that you can control it with the Xbox) and set it to automatically turn on my TV and satellite box when the Xbox powers up. This can be done via Kinect by saying "Xbox On" or by touching the Xbox logo on the front of the box. Took my girlfriend some getting used to (she's not a gamer), but she's able to use a controller to navigate menus to get to Netflix, or she just uses the voice commands through the Kinect to do what she needs - "Xbox go to Netflix" "Xbox pause" "Xbox play" "Xbox watch TV", etc. Great voice commands, my aftermarket Nyko batteries and charging stand work fairly well, though the batteries seem to die out pretty quickly, and it's nice that you can update the firmware on the controllers now. The beta program gives monthly downloads for new features, including an update that now makes my controllers sync to the console WAY faster. Controllers have a new connector for the headphones, though... which bothers me a bit. I liked my Turtle Beach X12s, but I ended up buying a new set of Turtle Beach's that came with the adapter. I could have gotten away from buying the stereo adapter alone, and made my X12s work, but the new headset I got works just fine. I do wish that it had a longer cable, though. It's "wireless", except for the stereo cable that plugs into the adapter on the controller. New connector on the controller was a little disappointing, though. Assassin's Creed is a pretty good game, but I got bored with it very quickly as soon as I got GTA.

NICE BUNDLE FOR A GOOD PRICE.THE NEW FEATURES AND LOOK ARE AWSOME.IF YOU PLAN ON DOWNLOADING GAMES FROM XBOX LIVE YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK ABOUT GETTING ANOTHER HARD DRIVE BECAUSE THE GAME FILE SIZES ARE MASSIVE AND THE 500gb DOES NOT GO FAR.THE KINECT WORKS FLAWLESSLY

High quality and feature-rich update over Xbox 360

Pros: * Good quality, 3D capable BluRay drive built-in (requires free download from Live store to play BluRay or DVD discs) * Console looks more professional in home theater environment than the oddly shaped 360. * Instant On for standby power control so console turns on much quicker. * Kinect is much improved over 360 versions, with better visual recognition and voice support. * Slight refinements to controller for better thumb positioning. Much lighter. (And still much more natural than a Playstation controller.) * TV input via HDMI to allow game and TV viewing at same time. Also support games and browser viewing simultaneously. Cons: * Not backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games * 720p resolution for most games as opposed to full HD 1080p * Required update upon initial setup is very large (almost 900 MB) * Console should not be stood on end like 360. It physically can, but doing so blocks a fan and the unit will overheat. If Microsoft didn't want it stood on end they should have designed it so it couldn't with a different bezel, or a curved or slanted shape on ends. * Assassin's Creed Unity is very slow starting compared to Black Flag. A couple of hours in now and it hasn't captured my excitement in the same way yet. * Unity is also rather buggy. Facial graphics flicker too often; hand placement during climbs sometimes appear to grab thin air; too many times your climbing gets stuck where you can't move up, down, left, or right without changing camera angle. Note that the included games, Unity, Black Flag, and Dance Central Spotlight are not physical discs but download codes. You'll need a Live account to download. (Comes with two 14 day subscription cards if needed.) Black Flag is 1.5 GB and Unity is nearly 5 GB so it takes some time to download and install these games.

This bundle is a great value for what you get. The new XBOX One is an incredible machine. I've had it for about a month and still haven't fully realized all it's capabilities. The Kinect is much improved over the 360 Kinect. Still has some voice command issues but still it's better. It came with two Assassins Creed games which I haven't even finished the first one yet. So an awesome buy overall.

Bought this unit mostly because my son wanted to get Minecraft for it. I saw how well it integrated as. "Home Media Hub" and it excels. Love the fact not only is an awesome gaming machine, but interggrates well as my Blu-Ray, TV and Movie streamer all in one easy to use unit. It's so awesome to turn on and off the entire AV system (TV, AVR, Cable Box and Xbox) all by talking to it. Simply wow!

Microsoft has nailed the gaming side of this box. The graphics are excellent and the controller is responsive. As for being the heart of your home entertainment center, it mostly works, except for the occasional burp. The voice commands mostly work, but not always. And, the voice commands are not always intuitive, and navigation between apps can be inelegant. On the plus side, if you don't have an internet TV, you can load just about every app you can think of onto the Xbox, and access them through your TV that way.

I actually purchased this system to consolidate my entertainment system (as well as playing games on our "game night"). I now run my satellite TV through the xbox and use the apps for Netflix and other streaming video services. I like being able to verbally control the system even when it is off. It's a little creepy, though, when it says "Hi" to me every time I enter the room.
