Good update to an already amazing PC controller.

Good update to an already amazing controller. This is very similar to the xbox one s controller but the D-Pad is much more responsive. There is also a nice texture on the back of the controller that gives it a great grip. This is in my opinion the best 3D controller for PC Gaming. If you play a lot of 2D games maybe you want to get an 8BITDo as well but for shooters, 3D platformers, racing etc this is the way to go NOTE: make sure you download the XBOX Accessories app on your PC and update the controller firmware, otherwise it won't work with your Windows PC

Still not wireless, no rechargeable battery

So like a dummy I didn't do my proper research when buying this controller. I got it to go along with my new gaming pc, after struggling to use Switch Pro controller and PS4 Dualshock on pc for years I finally gave in and decided to purchase a Microsoft controller so I would have no more connectivity issues. I really could not believe my eyes when I realized the Xbox controller still is not rechargeable. I only ever had a 360, and didn't mind the batteries too much at the time, but in modern times, when Sony and Nintendo have rechargeable controllers, even Google Stadia had them, there's no excuse why Xbox should not have them available. They're too rich a company not to have it as an option. Especially at the price range of these dang controllers? $50+ for no rechargeable battery?! Does MS own shares in Duracell or Energizer or something? I really don't get it, but oh well, that's my fault, I guess, for assuming... Still, I decided to keep the controller because it IS really well designed. I particularly like the textured grip thing on the back of it, feels very nice, and the letter buttons feel great as well, I find myself running my fingers over them for fun, they have a really great texture. I kinda feel like the right analog stick feels kinda big? Like it's hard to manouver sometimes or something... It's a fantastic controller but the batteries only lasting like 4 days for me? Is a big letdown. Who has money to be spending on batteries like that constantly, especially when you game as much as me. I use it mostly wired now which I hate because I switched from Pro Controller and Dualshock because I had issues with them if they weren't wired, I thought Xbox would be a better choice but I still have the same problem of annoying wires. I still use it wirelessly sometimes when I get fed up. I have mixed feelings about it. Xbox really needs to start making sense one of these years. If you have problems setting it up with your windows pc like I did, you might need to update your wireless drivers, in my case Asus, and/or also update the controller by using the Xbox app on windows.

Very high-quality custom controller and well worth the price. Typically these custom controllers sell for $10 more than the standard ones so its almost a no brainer which one you should get. This controller has rubber grips unlike a standard series controller and unlike most other custom controllers, this one has its own unique shell. Makes it stand out from my collection of controllers that are just painted differently. It even looks better, in my opinion, that the doom themed elite controller which was just painted differently.

Great color, the grip works well and lasts a long time. My hands frequently swear while playing, but these controllers seems to do really well at preventing stick drift. They are also highly durable. I have dropped it dozens of times and have never had issues. This is my third controller of this type!

To me the color on the controller look sick so I had to get it. The quality feels good, the buttons, analog sticks, triggers and the vibration. Better than the later controller models. I get lazy just using the keyboard and mouse... I just want to sit back and use a controller and so far I haven’t run into any problems with it. I also bought a rechargeable battery pack even though it comes with AA batteries I rather just get the charger as well. IT ALSO CAME WITH GAME PASS CODE!!

I recently bought the Xbox Series X|S Controller (Carbon Black), and overall, I’m really happy with it. The build quality is excellent — it feels sturdy in hand and the textured grips on the back are a nice improvement over the previous generation. The buttons are responsive, and the new hybrid D-pad is a big upgrade for games that rely on precise directional input.

I had been eyeing this controller ever since I heard it was coming out, and finally decided to take the plunge. Im a sucker for the special editions - Ive got Lunar Shift and Stellar Shift already. The Starfield SE controller does not diaappoint! Its so much more vibrant in person. I love the rainbow around the Nexus button, and the tiny details everywhere else. The golden d pad, red thumbsticks, and clear triggers just make it all that much better. One of the best parts of the special edition controllers too is the rubber grips, and I feel like I would struggle to play woth a controller that didnt have that now. It comes with a free dynamic background - which is okay. Cool perk, but nothing to write home about. Playstation definitely has the mechanical features (with the rumble, and the adaptive triggers), but Xbox has always brought their A game with special edition controller designs. This one is definitely my new favorite. Highly recommend!

I was having issues with other bluetooth controllers not showing up as an option when connecting to my PC, so finally decided to get a Microsoft controller. It immediately connected and so far has been the only controller that vibrates when connected to PC wirelessly which is nice. Color is also cute. I also bought rechargeable battery packs to save money on batteries.

The red on this is a solid true red Looks great and easy to spot on the sofa before you sit on it...lol. Controller feels good (texture grip and triggers) and works well. Definitely worth the BestBuy protection plan. It's cheap and just a bit of stick drift and you will be glad you got it.

Have had this controller for almost 2 years. I play about 4 times a week for a couple hours. I've had many controllers last me about 6-8 months and then they start to get stick drift and it sucks trying to play COD. Not sure if its luck but I'm running with it!

It works great, feels greater and was easy to find and buy. Beautiful solid color, no product defects and I think it feels great on the grip. Works beautifully on my Xbox and reminds me why I only have to buy a new one every so often. (If you like to customize them like I do, it’s also super easy to take apart and change parts.)

Great controller, works as expected. Love the feel of the grip on the handles, even after long hours of gameplay. Developed stick drift like any other controller after a time, but the Service Team fulfilled the warranty with no issues!
