This controller is by far my favorite... as a collector. The colors go together well, the engravings are unique, and the glow in the dark skull is as excellent touch. Shine a LED on it for 10 seconds and it glows brilliantly in the dark. My favorite aspect of this controller is the fact that the plastic is somewhat transparent. You are able to see some of the controllers' internal components. This brings me back to the days of the colorful N64 controllers and is completely unique to all new consoles. The only thing that could have made this controller better would have been to use the rubbery grips from the recon/patrol tech controller. Buy two before they're gone.

So the appearance is great, however, it isn’t as bright or whimsical as it looks in person. The compass is very hard to see and the skull is actually set lower than the rest of the controller so it is a bit odd. Overall, it works for what it is needed for, I just wish the design was a little better

This controller is a must have for any Xbox One Fan

I tend to collect limited edition controller and systems but when it comes to controllers for the xbox one this one takes the cake. The translucent plastic and decals are a really nice touch. Similarly the divots across the edge of the controller add to the grip and give some added details. The controller has a sense of character that sets it apart from the previous limited edition controllers for Titanfall, Call of Duty, Halo, Minecraft, and Gears of War. In the end it is a lot of personal preference but this controller definitely has flair.

This controller is nicer in your hands than in the pictures. My applause to the design team on this as it’s clear there was a very nice convergence of details, some bigger than others. However even the small detail like the glowing skull and the image made within it seem to have been given great thought. The barnacles that are mentioned are important because the one thing this controller lacks is the lightly textured, velvety grips on the newer controllers. Given everything else, this is a small gripe. I’d recommend this to anyone. Especially Vikings fans who want to sport purple with a touch of golden finish on the right trigger. Get it. There are things on it I’ve not mentioned for you to find. It plays very cleanly. I set aside my Project Scorpio one for it and I really like that one.

best looking controller I have laid my eyes on, the stock images of the controller don't do it justice. The only regret I have is not buying another one before they sold out. Even went out of my way to buy the official controller stand (non charging stand) this controller is for display only but will need a 2nd one to play with.
