The controller is comfortable (not as much as the PS5 Dual Sense though) and Bluetooth pairing was straight forward as expected. The only downside is that it chews through AA batteries. I will be considering Microsoft's rechargeable battery, but I am disappointed that Microsoft didn't just charge $5-10 more and build it into the controller. Charging $25 for a rechargeable battery of that size seems like a cash grab.

Nice Improvement on the Xbox One controller.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Improvements: - Not only did they finally get fix the d-pad, it now has inclined up edges on the d-pad that make it quicker to hit the directions. - There's now a nice textured gripping on the controller handles that used to be only on more expensive versions of the Xbone controller. - The Xbox One is forwards compatible so I can use it even now when the Xbox Series are impossible to find. Very satisfied.

Not only that, but if you have any of the Microsoft Surface line of devices (I have a newer Surface Book laptop), you can connect automatically without even worrying about the "add new hardware wizard"

These things are usually cheaper around the holidays, like 40-50 plus tax. Great controller at that price. Shipping was days faster than what was originally stated and was very happy about that.
