Many appreciate the value for the price and effective volume controls. While some users noted occasional connection issues and a snug fit, the positive feedback on audio quality and comfort outweighs these concerns.

    Almost perfect

These are a great value and almost perfect. The left can is twisted to adjust game/chat mixer and the right can is twisted to adjust volume. On the left can there is a power button and a mic mute button. The right can has a USB power port for charging. A feature I was not aware of but was pleasantly surprised by is that you can pair with your XBOX and phone at the same time so you can listen to your game and BT audio (podcasts/music, phone calls, etc) while playing. I love this feature. The only two issues I have is that the cans could be a tiny bit larger, they're just a little bit too small for what I consider an average size person, and the cans twist a bit too easily so it's very easy to accidentally adjust your settings with a nudge while you're wearing them. Other than that I love these and would definitely recommend them, especially at this price point.

Great sound, comfortable for long gaming sessions, easy to set up and adjust. All for just $99. My only complaint is Microsoft charges a license fee if you want to enable Dolby Atmos.

The only reason I didn't give these headphones 5 stars is the outer material the earpads are made of become a little sweaty after hours of wear. Easy fix is to get replacement ear pads online. Now for the GOOD part of the review and there is a LOT of good with these. First of all price. These are Dolby Atmos compatible which is a huge bonus for this price. They sound amazing, especially after equalizing them the way I want using the Dolby app on the Xbox. Another awesome feature is the ease of pairing with other devices while they're connected to the Xbox. I'm a YouTube premium member so I use YouTube music to stream not Spotify(Xbox has the capability of streaming music but only with certain apps) So the first time I played Forza while streaming my favorite music while connected to my phone was a huge bonus that I wasn't expecting when I bought these. All in all a GREAT purchase but for hardcore gamers like me definitely replace those earpads.

Great headphones and mic for Android. I like the placement of controls - mute button easy to use and has mute light indicator on mic tip. Good battery life. Comfortable. I usually don't like Microsoft but they've crushed it with designing this product.

Great: Syncs with any Xbox One or Xbox Series. Good sound Pretty comfortable Nice big easy to use control dials Less than perfect: Spending more can definitely get you better sound Headset grips the head quite firmly Ear pads and plasticky and cause sweaty ears after 30 min or so.

Microsoft really hit this one out of the ballpark, I just got these in today and right away they are my favorite headsets for gaming. I really like this for a few reasons: 1. Great Price Point 2. Very Comfortable 3. Sound is crisp and clear

Would always recommend this headset to anyone that has Dolby Atmos for gaming. Battery is great, gaming all day and night. Mic is perfect. Comfort is 9/10, but only after hours and hours of gaming. 3D surround sound in the headset is absolutely fantastic.

First off - these are functionally and technically identical to the current generation Microsoft wireless headset designed to be used with the Xbox Series X / S (and available for under $100.) I got them to replace a unit that had gotten the boom microphone snapped off (more on that in a moment.). I really liked the Starfield design and decided to cough up the extra dough. Aesthetically, these are really slick looking and have a more premium build than the normal model. Even the packaging is bespoke with Starfield logos and slogans on the interior. I'm a headphone addict, so I have these for my Xbox Series X, the Playstation Tempest 3D cans for my PS5 and Sony XM4s for my noise cancelling. Compared to the other two - these sound FINE. It's nothing mind blowing but has a generally good sound stage. The best feature is how seamlessly they pair with current gen Xbox consoles - no dongles or base stations. They can be paired via bluetooth with other devices but - make no mistake - these are first and foremost a gaming headset. They also sport the same dumb boom mic design as the base model. A flexible, fragile appendage that sticks out from one cuff. It would have been great to have had this retract into the headset or detach entirely but instead it just hangs there - ready to be broken at the slightest provocation. TLDR - A set of mid range gaming headphones wrapped in a very nice, premium package which justifies the price point. Be careful with the mic. It breaks easy.

    xbox series headset review

The headset works well with my xbox series x and has good audio for the cost of the headset. The only problem is that if you connect this headset to your computer or phone the audio quality will not be as good when using this with bluetooth. The headset is a lot more comfortable then my old astro A10 headset that I used to use for everything. Overall this product is good but you might want to get a xbox wireless adapter or use a longer usb type c cable to connect your computer with instead of bluetooth.

I purchased these to replace a jerry-rigged setup using a bluetooth headset and bluetooth receiver plugged into my output on my soundbar. Having a wireless headset that connects directly to the Xbox is convenient when I play games or watch tv/videos after my wife goes to bed since she's a light sleeper. For the price the sound is good right out of the box but after some tweaking it sounds great. They are also quite comfortable when wearing for extended periods of time. Not too heavy but also not so light as to seem cheaply built. Switching them to USB C Charging is a great addition so know that's one less cable to have around for charging devices. The included cable is a little should but I use the phone charge we have in charging station in our living room so it's mostly a moot point.

Great headset, but 2 things I don't like

I got this headset to use with both my PC and Xbox Series X. Overall, it's a great budget headset. It's very light on my head, doesn't squeeze too much, and the ear cushions are comfy. The mic quality is alright, but could be better. There are two gripes I have with it. One is that it turns on my Xbox every time I power it on, which is super annoying when I want to use it with my phone or PC, and the other is that when you connect it to a PC, there is only one device in Windows for both game and chat audio, so you can't change the volume balance between chat and game audio like most PC headsets do. It's like that through both Bluetooth and the official Xbox USB wireless transmitter for Windows. For $100, even with my gripes, I think it's good all-around, and since the headset can receive software updates, these issues could possibly be fixed down the line.

I’m not sure why this headset is rechargeable, but the controllers aren’t. But it’s a nice touch. If you’re not a total audiophile…it sounds great..if you are however..the 100 dollar price tag starts to make more sense. It has a nice volume knob, and voice chat knob too. The mic also doesn’t sound terrible. If your Xbox is your main console, it’s a nice pickup! Sadly we don’t have any other options for wireless Xbox headsets though….so it’s kinda moot for me to say it’s the best..but sure. It’s the best.

So if your lucky enough to find these they are excellent for the price point and features. For one this thing works with accessories app which has presets and the ability to auto tune the EQ. The bass can get surprisingly deep and instead of having to mess with buttons the sides spin for both value and settings which I find awesome. The mic rolls up when not in use and you can turn it off with a button placed underneath the boom. Also it matches so of your like me you'll appreciate that very much to I also own the Pulse 3D headphones for the same reason but these actually have better audio then those. They can hook up to multiple devices as well which is a nice feature for discord or your PC. DTSX works great with them not sure about the rest as I haven't tried I paid for that and have enjoyed it.

Really surprised and impressed. My Steel series broke and I was bummed. Also not looking forward to spending $140 or more for "decent" headphones, but I caved and got Microsoft's headphones for 100. Now I'm wondering why I spent so much on cans over the years. These are great. Sturdy, good sound, elegant design. Comfortable for a couple hours at least and that's with my glasses. Zero complaints, IDK why more people don't talk about these.

Bought these along with a new xbox exclusively to play Starfield. The accessibility and ease of use is great. Connects instantly to the xbox when you power on the headset. Tv sound can still be on while your in the headphones. Volume control is always quickly controllable on the headset. Sound quality is better than I expected. Design is awesome. Still waiting on release day but I can definetly see my self wearing these for hours upon hours playing what should be the greatest video game of our time. Thank you Bethesda!
