Customers are saying

Customers highly value the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Xbox Wireless Gaming Headset, frequently praising its long battery life and Bluetooth functionality. Many appreciate the value for the price and effective volume controls. While some users noted occasional connection issues and a snug fit, the positive feedback on audio quality and comfort outweighs these concerns.

These are awful, battery and comfort is fine, but quality when it comes to gaming is garbage. Playing Warzone, it doesn’t do a good job with depth in noises. I’ve messed with the EQ and used the Adobe app but it doesn’t help. The Mic sounds super cheap For an extra $50 go with the arctis or the astros

Overall, the headset is pretty darn nice. The ability to connect my phone to it and listen to music while playing is a huge advantage for me. My only gripe is the leather (or leather like) ear cups. They do make your ears a little toasty after wgule but do a great job of blocking ambient noise.

I really wanted to love these headphones, but so far I am pretty disappointed. I am using them exclusively for PC gaming connected via the Xbox wireless adapter and the performance is not great. I get frequent audio drops, which I have experienced while playing every game I've tried so far. This includes Cyberpunk 2077, Crusader Kings III, The Crew 2, Disco Elysium, etc. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps Microsoft has provided online and I've contacted Xbox support for assistance, but so far, nothing has worked. I've had zero issues with Bluetooth so far, but there is a noticeable lag, which is why I got the Xbox adapter. It's very odd that this issue is happening with Xbox's own headphones and wireless protocol, but I guess it goes to show that PC gaming isn't their priority for these headphones. I am sure they are great for XSX, but sadly I think I'll be returning these. They are also pretty uncomfortable in my opinion. After about an hour, I find myself constantly adjusting them for better comfort.

I sincerely wish I could give this thing zero stars, and I'm not "that guy." I brought the headset home on launch day and did the basic connect and test thing. It downloaded a firmware update and worked fine. I didn't touch it for the rest of the day after that. The next day I hopped online and it worked fine ... until it didn't. The headset audio abruptly cut out and it lost connection to the console. It would no re-pair from that point on. I've tried factory resets on both the headset and my Xbox Series X console, no luck. I've tried to pair it with my older Xbox One X console, no luck. It WILL pair to my PC and cell phone via Bluetooth, but it will not connect to any Xbox console. If it's physically connected to the console via USB, it will connect and work properly, but then that's not very "wireless," is it? The worst part is that these are in such short supply, that you can't even bring the unit back to the store for an exchange. Microsoft has offered to repair it but says the process could take 3-6 weeks.

Thing looks cool, but disconnects every 2-3 min for me. Also, what's with all these fake-a** five-star reviews using the same photos. Am I missing something?

I purchased these headset thinking that they were going to be a decent low cost headset. Yes they are low cost but also low quality. When talking to people you sound like you are in a hole. The material feels cheap and would easily break after months of heavy use. I returned them and got something a little more expensive but happy with my choice.

Not the best headset money can buy but a great product for $100. Build quality is my only complaint; the dials on the side have great functionality but they feel they could break fairly easily. Other than that, love using these with my xbox.

    Broken after 8 months

Headset stopped functioning 8 months after purchase. Typical use, no damage, stored on a stand when not in use, just didn’t seem to be built to last. For those 8 months of use, the sound and mic seemed fine. I did not like the entire headset ear piece being an adjustable knob, as that caused a lot of accidental adjustments anytime it was put on or off. It’s a comfortable headset, but seems to align with the (low) build quality of the Microsoft elite controllers. Microsoft’s accessories seem to be built to break shortly after the warranty period.
