Compared to wired headphones, the Microsoft Wireless sound a bit hollow. The audio is not as balanced compared to wired with High sounds that peak, and low sounds that are hardly audible. But for the price point, and the fact that wireless headphones are rare for Xbox, the Microsoft Wireless headset for Xbox is just right for gamers who need a wireless set up. It is convenient to have bluetooth options for your other devices so you can have it with your media center and use it for other consumption

I ultimately decided to get these because of the price point, mostly, but also because they were getting very good reviews. The reviews hold up as I have been very happy with them. The sound quality is excellent, the wireless connection to the console is very seamless as it utilizes the accessories application and a bluetooth signal to connect, and there is a very minimalistic approach taken to the controls. The left ear can be used to toggle between sound from your game and sound from any chat you may be listening to with mutliplayer gaming. The right ear is used to turn the volume up and down. There's a button dedicated to muting your mic when you aren't using it. and that's about it. Charging is with USB-C, and the battery life is pretty impressive. I can get a few gaming sessions of around 3-4 hours a piece before the battery gets to requiring a recharge. Comfort wise that do feel a bit big and bulky, but the ear cups are very soft and, speaking as someone who has issues with over ear headphones, these maintain a good amount of comfort, even after wearing them for long periods. Adjustment of the head band is quite difficult, and is one of the glaring negatives. But this isn't too bad of an issue as it isn't as much of a factor once you have them how you want them.

The sound quality is great for the price point. Only issue is the volume nobs are a little to easy to turn so I turn them on accident all the time and have to ajust the volume again.
