Mic Monitoring is Terrible; Decent Sound

Sound quality is great and it connects instantly to your Xbox. However, until a firmware update is released for the mic monitoring, these are simply not usable. Even when setting the mic monitoring to high, I can’t hear my own voice properly and it’s very frustrating. I’m sure once there is an update released, mic monitoring should work fine. I’m returning my headset and getting the Arctic Steel Series 7X.

Is a nice set of headphones

I ordered this product as soon as I saw them back in the store. When I start using it I immediately start comparing and so when I saw I could use my existing astro A20 with the dolby app paying a one time 14 dollars fee. The astro are probably the most confortable headset you could ever use. On the other had this microsoft headset look unconfortable the sound quality is not as great as the Astros. I send them back to the store and save my money. The sintetic leather will start to peal off after a few years trust me and the sound quality is mediocre. I dont picture myself using this headphones for loger periods of time eather.

Great function and sound, but tight

My only complaint is that it sounds a bit muffled because the mic sits on the side of your face instead of extending to the mouth.
