Really fun game with all the bonus content for a really great price! Good story, great combat and easy to do button combos. AI isn’t a complete push over.

Is a great game that does not needs the on line fells very similar to the Batman series, great graphics, good story. Is a long game also that does not feels repetitive.

Overall it was a huge surprise, but I consider this a masterpiece of the current gen. I would highly recommend this game to anyone wanting to play a stealth/action game with excellent controls and graphics. Who wouldnt be excited to take on some crazy orcs and invade castles/villages with orcs running amok being led by crazy/scary/powerful and sometimes cowardly leaders. It was amazing especially being able to control them and set them against each other. The question is - Will you be able to take down and control the entire table of Orc leaders????

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year what else needs to be said. Great graphics and story line. Gave as a gift, Loved it

The game looks great with stable frame rate. The combat is fairly solid and dynamic. There are many items to collect for those who want more lore. The story is interesting. The nemesis system allow for tough foes. The only flaws are getting stuck near walls, can't attack a specific enemy with the sword in a group fight and the game starts off slow.

This game is somewhat old now, but one of the first that really showed graphics and sound performance on PS4 Great Story and Replay value

Fantastic game! I absolutely loved my time with Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. I earned the platinum trophy playing daily for a week (approx. 34 hours.) The story is good and written so that anyone with even casual knowledge of the Lord of the Rings trilogy will have an easy time following it. The combat is where this game really shines, it is an adaptation of the combat style used in WB's Arkham games. The finishing moves are gory and really add a flourish to ending a difficult foe. The Nemesis System makes combat very exciting, as you never know when a past adversary will make a return to exact revenge. The world adapts to your actions and you can hear guards talking of your past exploits when you sneak around a camp and captains will reference things you did in past battles when facing them a second time. Very immersive. The Game of the Year edition adds both DLC packs and all available character skins. I haven't played the DLC yet, but I've read it is very similar to the main game, fleshing out a couple of the side stories. Fans of third person action games will love this. Fans of Lord of the Rings will love this. Fans of good games will probably love it too!

Shadow of Mordor is an excellent game for any LOTR fan! The story is great and the open world stays true to the style of the movies.

This game was one of the first "Current Gen" games to make people upgrade to the new systems. This is an outstanding third person action game. Beautiful graphics, and a really wicked AI system (on PS4 and XB1), and a well designed game all make for this worth buying and playing. This is the GOTY edition, so all DLC for the game is included. While nothing "grand", the extra DLC is a nice addition. One of the best titles out there - and you are looking at a lot of hours being put into the game.

I bought this game without ever watching or reading any Lord of the Rings and I'm having a blast. The combat system is really good (similar to Batman series). Definitely worth the price

If you haven't played this yet, shame on you. I picked up the base game on release, Platinumed it, then later picked the GotY version up for the DLC. The GotY version doesn't sync with the base game, though, so know that beforehand. None of your progress carries over. You CAN just play the DLC though, if that's what you're after. You can also net a second Platinum if you're up for it... Fantastic game with super original Nemesis system. Pick it up already!

Great continuation of the LOTR story. Excellent content amount and gameplay for console. Includes expansions, skins and challenge modes which really put your skills to the test for slaughtering uruks. Open world which allows for non linear progression. Best game i currently own for PS4.

If you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings this is a game for you! Great graphics and story.

Do not not anything and the LOTR lore but this game has some sick action and A pretty good story.

I got the regular version of this game at release and beat it. Its very fun. Much like Assassin's Creed but more brutal in the LOTOR universe. The game did good by the series. I sold the original when it still had a high value and decided to pick up this version to add back to my collection and boy was it a good idea. It has alot of extras packed in and was a joy to play again. Definitely worth a look!

Shadow of Mordor is a pretty good game for fans and non-fans alike, and it also has one the best innovations of this gaming generation. The gameplay is a really nice blend of the Batman: Arkham series (Free-Flow combat, light stealth) with some Assassin's Creed (climbing and traversal). If you're a fan of those games, you'll love this. What sets this game apart, however, is the Nemesis system. The ability to have an on-going, procedural antagonistic relationship with the villains is just such brilliant addition, and it adds a significant amount replayabilty to an otherwise pretty standard framework. However, the story is only serviceable, and the scope is unfortunately limited. This is a very thin revenge story stretched over 30-plus hours of game, and while the developers did their best to vary up the environments, this game is still entirely set in Mordor. It gets a bit dull after a while and could've benefited from seeing some of the wider Middle-Earth. This product includes the base game and all of the DLC. Interestingly, the Trophy/Achievement information is considered separate from the standard version. So, if you're hunting for Platinums or Gamer Score, but you already played Shadow of Mordor, maybe give this package a look.

Had a hard time getting the hang of defeating hoards of orcs but. my son picked it up quickly. Game can get repetitious but plays well on PS4.

Simple yet fun. This game is a nice mildly open world like action game. The combat system and style is exactly from the new Batman games. So expect tons of enemies fighting you all at once while you combo through them. Game is worth the money

Lots of cool RPG elements, the combat is fun, and neat open-world design. The 'Nemesis System' is also really cool. Highly recommended!
