This game is way beyond different from any game i played it does feel like batman mixed with assassin creed but a totally different gameplay the combat system is amazing at first it will take time getting use to but once you do you will be jumping flying running teleporting everywhere the nemesis system also where the game shines its basically if you die in the game by somebody the person that kills you will get promoted and stronger and will jump rank like captain to war chief they also remember everything so far i been playing for 20 hrs it says and i havent heard them say the same thing yet and graphics for a 2014 game makes this game look better then most games out now best ps4 game if you see this game cheap buy it even if its on the shelf for 40 its really worth the price and you wont be disappointed once you pop the cd in your ps4

This game was pleasantly surprisingly fun! I only bought it cause my friend was telling me how much shadows of war was amazing! and you have to pay this to play shadows of war! But it was well worth the game play! You can get through the story relatively quick! But if you want to do EVERYTHING then it could be a pretty long game!

This game is very violent, and I know it is rated M for that very reason. Lots of Orc and human blood, and finishing moves. Controls are intuitive and story is versatile to what player would like to accomplish in the game. Opponents improve as the game progressives and gets better when they beat you, which is a very cool feature. Graphics are great, and I look forward to getting into the LOTR lore.

I got the game at a great price and hours of fun along the way.

This game is decent. The combat it good. The world feels kind of empty though. The Nemesis system is cool.

Short and sweet.. The game is a ton of fun especially if you like the LOTR stories. I will say after a while you will get to the point of being able to easily overcome enemies with ease but that still doesn't take away from the games overall fun factor. Unique hierarchy system adds to the strategy aspect.

Shadows of Mordor is a great game. Not just for fans of Lord of the Rings, but for any action game fans as well. If you enjoy the Batman games on Xbox 360 and PS3, you'll like this game as the combat system is very similar. The reason being that this game started off as a Batman game, and gradually evolved into a mature action game using the LoTR license. The game has great depth, and the Nemesis system is revolutionary. You can watch a standard Orc/Uruk kill you and become a future boss that you'll have to kill. It's random. This version includes all the DLC as well as PS4 Pro support in the form of better graphics and higher resolution. It's also budget priced. It's well worth your time.

I was very much on the fence about this game. How exciting can a LOTR game be? I'm not even into the movie series. But I bought the game and it is now my favorite PS4 game. My time spent is fun and meaningful, instead of hunting for unimportant collectibles or boring quests. The game is amazing and you should play it.

I love this game! The fact that your in game deaths reflects in the game is awesome. Each time you die things change, orcs battle each other, and gain power. Villains remember you the next time you meet them, and the story is amazing! I will never get bored with this game, no matter how many times I play!

Best single player game I've played in a long while. New enemy system is awesome. Great care was taken in making enemy AI. One of the few games I played multiple times from start to finish

Had quite a bit of fun with this. Things I liked the best: 1. Great options for stealth kills 2. Ranged weapons useful but not overpowered 3. The side missions to complete the legends of your weapons by fulfilling specific achievements my only critiques would be: 1. Not very "Lords of the Rings-ish" -- more just a hack and slash action RPG 2. Difficulty scale was pretty off at the end everything was way too easy.

Great game, lots of missions to play and cool feature of orcs having memory of you and becoming more powerful when they kill you. I got so caught up in just running around and killing orcs that by the time I played the missions I mowed through the bosses due to leveling up my skills prior.

I was tempted to get this when it first came out, but glad I waited. The game of the year edition was definitely worth the wait. The extras added to the solid game and increased The replay value. I found it to be pretty difficult to master, but very much worth it when you get the handle of it.

I bought this game when it was on sale on Best Buy. Great game, with tons of content and great gameplay, if you love the arkham batman series, then this game is for you, I don't have to mention the part of being a middle earth fan, Lord of the Rings and stuff.

This was hands down one of the best games I've ever played. I was pretty skeptical about another LoTR game but this one is spot on. There were so many times while playing I would say out loud "oh wow that's awesome!" Get this game, you won't regret it.

This game is a must play! If you like Assassins Creed, you will love this. If you like LOTR, you will LOVE this. If you have thumbs and a pulse, you will at least thoroughly enjoy this. The game comes with all the DLC making it a no-brainer pickup.

The game is a fun expansion of the Lord of the Rings mythology. The game play style is very similar to the Batman Arkham games. You're given multiple missions and side missions that you can complete in whichever order you like while you explore. Sometimes the camera angles can get funky during battles, but I only find it mildly frustrating.
