I went into this game without no expectation and it was awesome. It deserved to be game of the year candidate in 2014. The gameplay was a bit different for me but it worked very well. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a console owner.

Very deserving of game of the year. The combat system is very smooth and even though your character is very powerful, just a few hits and you are dead so the threat of being killed is real. Hours of fun. A must buy.

I had heard so many good things about this game, i never played it out of pure laziness to go and buy it but let me tell you GO AND BUY THIS GAME! If you're a fan of the Batman Arkham series you will like this game, if you're a fan of LOTR then you will like this game. The gameplay is addicting and I've spent so much time upgrading my character, the bonus about the GOTY edition is that it comes with much more content so you never really get bored. Overall great game, and I'm excited for the next one.

Great game....good story and graphics. Worth a play.

Being a huge fan of Lord of the Rings to begin with, and the game system used in the Batman: Arkham _____ games, this was a no brainer. The story is solid, controls are tight, and Troy Baker does a fantastic job with the voicework.

A fun original adventure in the Lord of the Rings mythology. Uses same engine and combat mechanics as the Arkham series, making it feel similar yet different in its own right (exploring the lands of Mordor and actually hunting down and killing enemies is). This should be on every gamers shelf, it's definitely GOTY for a reason.

Absolutely fell in love with this game. Played a lot of LotR games in the past and this one blew me away. Stealth, long range, short range, shifting between them. The flow of this game is amazing, highly recommend it to any gamer.

This is really, and I'm not just saying, the best game ever! I love it! The open world, the battles, everything is so addicting that you will keep thinking about the game even when you turn off the console! I recommend it!

If you liked Lord of the rings and you like assassin's creed, this is the game for you, and best of all you'll get the complete game with the DLC for a great price. nice combat, nice graphics, great music and sound effects.

This is the pinnacle of the LOTR games. I have played the original version on previous gen systems and this edition on the XBOX One and this PS4 game is the best edition of the best LOTR game. Will be hard to top this one.

While the game doesn't quite live up to the GotY subtitle, it's still a wonderfully realized take on the LotR universe. Troy Baker kills it as the game's main character looking for revenge on the armies of Sauron. If you're a fan of open worlds with loads of things to do, this will meet or exceed your expectations.

I have always loved the combat of the Batman Arkham series, from which this game borrows its combat system heavily. But add in the LOTR themes and the bad guy progression system takes it to another level. Excellent title

This game is a unique gem. I love the control of the combat and the story progression. All around great game, not just for Lord of the Rings fans. I would gladly recommend it took anyone that likes action-rpg games.

Even though it shares many similarities with Batman franchise the game provides it's own experience. After so many failed Lotr titles this game provides an interesting story line. I recommend this to any LOTR fans.

A little tricky to get used to unless you've played any previous Batman game with counters. Your player is customized with perks such as finishers that'll shorten your fighting time with each mission or boss you conquer.

I bought this game when it was released. I beat it and promptly sold it afterwards. I immediately regreted that decision. This game is an absolute blast to play. Once it gets under your skin there's no coming back

Take off of the Lord of the Ring series. Very good graphics and story line. You play the character of Ranger.But you are defending Moordor! will say no more. Fast S&H WELL PACKAGED.

If you enjoy the LotR lore, this game will be even more enjoyable. It was Game of the Year for a reason, awesome game. The added DLC wasn't as impress in my opinion, but the base game is awesome

Interesting story, excellent atmosphere and incredible presentation makes this the best LFTR game in recent years. The GOTY edition is a great value specially if you can score it on the cheap.

The game is great and worth a try. However, it borrows a lot from Assassin's Creed's open world parkour and Batman Arkham series combat. As you play, you'll definitely feel like you've played it before (because, you have).
