Great game, great graphics and great story line! Like the last one, but much more to it!

The game has fantastic graphics, which are largely appealing. The exploding heads get old, and the lack of experience for killing grunts forces players to focus on the missions. I preferred the experience model from the previous version. The skill tree is a bit overwhelming. The game is full of humor, which is probably the main draw for me at this point in the story. I am no where close to beating the game, so look to others for information on that side.

I'm only about 20% through this game, and I'm having a blast. I loved the first one (and I highly recommend you play it first) and have been eagerly awaiting this game's release. No disappointments at all. I haven't even unlocked online fortresses, or the ability to build my own army of Orcs. I realize I sound like a nerd, and that's because I'm totally geeked out over this game. Get it.

More of the same, just bigger, prettier and harder. If you liked Shadow of Mordor, you'll love this.

Was very excited to play this game soon after finishing the first Shadow of Morder game. This title improved on all the aspects of the first. The nemesis system is interesting in the game. My only fault would be the repetitive nature near the end of the game but overall it was a fun game to play. Would recommend for anyone interested in the Middle Earth Mythology.

Shadow of War plays like a somewhat improved version of Shadow of Mordor. It seems like the developers finally had the time and money to implement things that they wanted in the first game and the base gameplay is still fun but the narrative is rather thin like the first game. Most of your enjoyment will come from the story you invent for yourself as you dominate uruks and create rivalries with others.

If you, in any way, liked the first, then this game will be a pleasant surprise. They really took everything good about the first game and made it even better! They do, however, fail to go through a rigorous tutorial of all of the character's skills since, in a way, they seem to assume you have played the first game - which has virtually the same controls.

Don't come to this game expecting profound expansion to the existing LOTR lore; it kind of messes up a lot on that front. That doesn't change the fact that this game is still straight up fun to play and the Nemesis system of hunting Orc captains remains one of the top innovations in recent years for open world games.

This game is a fun game that can get a little repetitive. Great graphics and smooth battle. I like the orc grudges, that is an interesting new touch. I am not a fan of the non-linear story. I don't really love open world games in general I enjoy a clear narrative. I like the lead characters. Overall fun game but I don't see myself playing every detail of this game as far as side missions go.
