The first game of the series was mindless fun with the new engine perfectly setup where you wanted to play for honor and revenge when an orc killed you. This game takes everything you loved about the previous game and magnifies it by that much, Joy ride so far

Ordered this as a gift for my brother after playing extensively on PC myself. Game doesn't look as good on PS4 as it does PC, but the core fun is still there. All kinds of fun until the final portion of the game unlocks and you are forced into a slog of continuous assaults on your keep.

I would recommend this game to anyone who likes a game that has a great combat system and a pretty good story line. The immersion of this game is pretty well balanced. One thing I did appreciate is how the developers put in the time with all of the orc characters and there abilities.

This is a continuation of Shadow of Mordor. Plays and controls mostly the same. They have taken what works in Shadow and improved control even more. Also it's a little easier to dive right in and play, even if you have never played Shadow of Mordor

Running around and killing orcs and sometimes you have to listen to a long speech from a captain. Boring but with flashes of brilliance. I like when a captain attacks me or when they improve and the nemesis system advances the adversaries. Is an ok game but to much like the old one.

I was really excited when this game was first announced since I was a huge fan of the first one. I'm happy to say that it surpasses the first game in every way. Great game with lots of cool moments that are all different for everyone who play.

I really enjoy going back and continuing the story and world from the first game. I loved the first game and this is a great addition to the series. Being part of the Lord of the Rings world is a lot of fun and it looks really good too.

This game is fun, despite the controversy concerning the MTs. Everybody who says they are unnecessary is right. Just play the game and you won't even be tempted to buy any loot boxes. If you enjoyed the first game, you'll love this one.

incredible detail,gameplay and mechanic. The game itself uses the world to the absolute fullest. Variety of enemies and so much to do,can easily engulf yourself in so many hours of gameplay. 10/10 Game of the year in my opinion.

Huge improvements over the first stunning in 4K. Expanded skill system and everything is much more in depth. Feels like a brand new title instead of a sequel with the amount of improvements. Be sure to download the 4K cinematic pack

I’m really enjoying this game. It’s a continuation from the first, but the new additions are easy to pickup and the gameplay is just as much fun as I remember. If you like Assassins Creed, or similar games you’ll enjoy this one.

Normally I complain about games being too short and linear, but this time it's the opposite. If you are not a hardcore gamer (like me.) willing to put in the time and energy into this game DO NOT BUY! Otherwise, you will be getting your time and money's worth.

If you haven't played shadow of mordor,get to that game first,one of this console generations best games. If you have,this is a sequel to that. The game play is great,similar to the Batman arkham series and assasin creed.

It’s the same Mordor gameplay, with some RPG additions. There’s lots of loot and abilities and the nemesis system is fleshed out even more. My issue was that it wasn’t fresh enough to keep me hooked, so I ended my experience a little early. So it goes.

Great game, same old shadow of mordor but kinda improved nemesis system. Fighting is awesome, but feels repetitive after a while and a disappointing climax. But its pretty fun fighting ludicrous orcs and unleashing the wraith :) Definitely recommend!!

This game is awesome. Graphics and game play is excellent. I would recommend playing Shadow of Mordor first as this game doesn’t really have any tutorials. I’d highly recommend this game to any fan of Shadow of Mordor.

Gameplay is as great as the first one, very fun to play. Story isn't great though and the changed some of the abilities and menus for the worse. Can be a bit overwhelming until you get used to it, playing the first one will definitely help though.

If you like the Lord of the Rings saga and lore, this is a great game for you. The amount of choices you have between different quests and side missions is great and they're all a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

This game is like Shadow of Mordor but WAY bigger. The regions are huge and there are plenty. At first this can be overwhelming but soon you’ll be recruiting Orcs and purifying towers in no time. If u liked the first one you’ll like this one.

They took everything good in the first game, added it to this game, and improved upon it. Nemesis system is great and they did a good job blending in the side quests with the main story unlike the first game.
