Excellent product. With more wind, rain, hail and snow storms hitting the Northeast, we wanted a reliable, easy-to-use emergency radio. This one fits the bill perfectly. Super value for the price.

Bought this for Father’s Day and my husband loves it. It’s smaller than his old crank radio and easy to carry around. Plus, he loves anything solar so it’s a bonus to find one that is both solar and battery powered as well.

I've had this for several years. The battery lasts for a very long time. I haven't needed to use the crank yet but this radio is a workhorse. Very sturdy. Great emergency unit.

This unit was nice and compact, which is perfect for outdoors and camping use. The USB, solar panel, and hand crank provide different options to charge.

I really like this radio. However, I was not aware of S.A.M.E. technology and how it lets you pinpoint our area. If you don't mind getting notices for out of your immediate area, it works great. Flashes and the alarm is loud enough to hear through a closed door in another room. I love that you can hand crank it when you have power loss.

Good reception. Great portability. Multiple sources of power. So good I bought a second one for another part of the house.

We bought this prior to a camping trip not expecting to need it. But when a storm rolled with high winds and flash flood warnings, the alarm easily woke us up and we evacuated, as it is quite loud. We were in an area that lacked good cell reception and wi-fi, but we had no problem tuning in a weather station. Having a solar charger in addition to usb is highly beneficial and it seems to hold a charge for a while. My son did break the antenna right off, though, the first time he got his hands on it.

Very hood value and service on all bands. Easy to use. Nice color. Small and compact. Fits in hand. Can crank for power.

Everybody needs a weather radio and this one is just the best. Besides weather radio it is FM ,AM. And has an alarm when storms are near. Also has a very bright light and other neat features at a reasonable price.

Let me start by saying that this is a very slick radio. You can powered with AA batteries, the built-in battery, the solar panel, or by plugging it in via USB. And of course, let’s not forget that nifty crank. The sound quality is better than expected forward size and the ease-of-use was natural. The reason why I could not give this radio five stars is because it does not have a programmable stations. All of the features worked as described and are very practical. No wasted space at all.

This item will not charge your phone. I just went through hurricane Milton and sadly found this out. Nothing like being alone through one of the most scary storms ever being alone to find out this company is not truthful. I cannot believe any honest company would ever put peoples lives at risk. If I had an emergency I could not rely on my phone to be charged with an item I paid for so I had a capability to not be in the situation. This is heartless and this company should not be stating lies with an emergency radio/phone charger. Do not purchase unless all you want is a flashlight and radio, because the phone charger it is NOT. Also do not rely on solar charging this item. I relied on their saying it would charge my phone. I was in the scariest hurricane I have ever been in and their lies just added to my fright. Hope you can live with making money by misinforming people to but an "emergency radio with phone charger". Hope you enjoyed taking my money and adding to my anguish!!!

As a resident of Florida living near the Gulf of Mexico, we have to be ready with this type of product! This thing is great! Multiple ways to charge it and to charge other things (like phones!). Radio is great with many bands, including weather. Plus it has a flashlight with multiple settings and a dog whistle!

This device has everything you could want in the event of a power outage: multiple charging possibilities, am, fm, and weather channels and a host of other emergency features. It is easy to pack and activate.

I am a daily radio listener. The reason I bought it was not for listening to radio, but for emergency purposes so I could get weather radio information. However, now I use it daily. The sunlight powered feature is great! I set it by the window and it charges itself. However, I don't know if the USB charging function works. Neither my phone or my tablet could be charged, I am not sure why.

I've had this for about a year now and I really like it. I can use it anywhere, especially camping. The weather radio and warning features have been helpful. It's compact but powerful.

With hurricane season here i was thinking that i needed a radio that could be used without batteries. Well got an even better deal. The Midiland crank radio is great. Can even charge it with sun. Crank, Sun and Batteries keep this small but powerful radio a given. So glad i purchased it. Just hoping I dont have to use it for hurricane season.
