It’s a great little radio. The speakers aren’t the best quality but is expected. The solar panel works great for charging as well as the crank. It’s perfect for emergency or to use every day

Good price and compact unit. Easy to use. Good gift idea

I have been buying these when they go on sale to give as inexpensive, practical gifts to people. I have had a higher end version of this radio that includes a "dog whistle," but I doubt that feature will ever be useful. Another feature this one lacks but would be useful is the ability to run it off a few AA batteries, however, according to the manual, this one uses the same 3.7V DC, 2600 mAh lithium ion cell (18650) battery that should be more easily purchased and replaced than some of the other current Midland. According to manuals of some other Midland radios, it seems you need to remove the back of the casing to remove the battery AND it uses a more proprietary version of the battery that connects via a wire. While you shouldn't need to replace the battery too soon or too often, it should be much easier with this radio.

It seems like it'll do what it says. Little disappointed in the sound quality but it is small. Really come handy in a case of an emergency or a bad situation.

compact, easy to recharge, and gets great radio reception

Nice radio, i have another similar radio that does not work as well and not very easy to use. This radio is great, easy to find stations.

So far this has been just what I needed. My primary purpose was as a receiver for the FM signal at the drive-in theater, avoiding any car battery drain. The charge on the included battery is great. And the light on it has already come in hand.

Seems to be pretty solid and do whats supposed to do. I only briefly played with it after getting it. The hand crank definitely generated enough power to turn on the flashlight.

This is a great product and great value. It works well, is small and lightweight so it's easy to keep with you and works as advertised. Highly recommended.

Works great right out of the box. AM, FM, weather, all three come in really well over this compact radio. I highly recommend.

I already have this model and so glad I do. It has all the bells and whistles needed in extreme weather and is very lightweight - works great! I highly recommend!

Purchased this as a Mother’s Day gift. It works great and gave Mom peace of mind when a storm blew in and the cable and internet went down. She was able to track progress of the weather conditions until the event was over.

Bought it for the hurricane season. Have not used yet but I tried it out and just amazed that this little thing works just as it said it would. I love that it can charge devices and so compact that it can be used for picnics. So I am set if a hurricane should come.

The radio is very good but the battery does not last as long as the specifications say. For the rest, everything is fine.

Convenient design in a compact device. This weather radio has many features that make it a must have in your home. Flashlight, weather notifications, radio, hand crank rechargeable to name a few.I purchased one for my children also.

This is a very useful radio to have on hand for any weather emergencies.
