Nice small size. Easy to use. Works well. Would recommend

This radio is used for daily use and also for emergency use. Being without power for days is lonely. Having this emergency radio keeps you current with the news. Daily use allows you dance while doing your household chores. I have purchased these MIDLAND Radios many times for survival gifts. IT has a Weather station, AM/FM radio, solar panel, and a crank. I also takes batteries so this radio can be charged many ways. Most important it has a flashlight and also a port to charge your phone or other devices. A must have for All!

Luckily we haven't had to utilize this device yet. However it was fairly easy to set up and with three different ways to power it, I feel it was a great bargain. Unfortunately this is one of those purchases that you hope you'll never need but I feel much safer knowing if we lose power we will be able to communicate.

Perfect for weather related information and alerts. The am/fm radio is a bonus. Nice to have multiple charging options. And alarm will sound even when the radio is turned off. Compact size.

This unit has multi functions--AM, FM, weather--and was purchased with the last function in mind. So far we've not had to use it in the event of severe weather. I appreciate that it can be powered by solar, batteries, plug-in and hand crank. I'm sure that it will be very useful to us in the event of heavy storms.

We love this mighty little radio bought it for camping mostly because of the crank to charge ability (never fail needing a radio and having the batteries die when you needed it). Sent one to my daughter in Florida they have it in their hurricane ready box .

Radio works well. Features are all as advertised. My only complaint is that the sound is extremely tinny.

Purchased this emergency radio in case if or my family will have to use it one day. It’s very convenient- small and light. You can charge this unit in 3 different ways - cranking for 3, solar which is conventially place on top of the radio or ny usb (cable is included).

Good weather radio with 3 power options (miniUSB, solar, and hand crank) and backlight make this incredibly useful. The 3 bands (WX, AM, and FM) came in clearly in the city. I originally bought this for a drive through Oklahoma and Kansas during tornado season, and it worked well. It continues to be a good, portable option closer to home.

I have been buying these when they go on sale to give as inexpensive, practical gifts to people. I have had a higher end version of this radio that includes a "dog whistle," but I doubt that feature will ever be useful. Another feature this one lacks but would be useful is the ability to run it off a few AA batteries, however, according to the manual, this one uses the same 3.7V DC, 2600 mAh lithium ion cell (18650) battery that should be more easily purchased and replaced than some of the other current Midland. According to manuals of some other Midland radios, it seems you need to remove the back of the casing to remove the battery AND it uses a more proprietary version of the battery that connects via a wire. While you shouldn't need to replace the battery too soon or too often, it should be much easier with this radio.

It’s a great little radio. The speakers aren’t the best quality but is expected. The solar panel works great for charging as well as the crank. It’s perfect for emergency or to use every day

It seems like it'll do what it says. Little disappointed in the sound quality but it is small. Really come handy in a case of an emergency or a bad situation.

Seems to be pretty solid and do whats supposed to do. I only briefly played with it after getting it. The hand crank definitely generated enough power to turn on the flashlight.

Nice radio, i have another similar radio that does not work as well and not very easy to use. This radio is great, easy to find stations.
