    I purchased the Midland emergency crack weather alert radio because this hurricane season started out crazy and I wanted to be prepared. Thank goodness I had this. We lost power and this came in handy.

    Radio average and antennae does not really increase signal strength. Solar cell not big enough to provide adequate charge. Hand crank works but the charge diminishes really fast. Just using as a radio and charging with usb.
