This model is highly rated by several online review websites. I found that it meets my expectations. The value based on cost and performance is really good.

Radio average and antennae does not really increase signal strength. Solar cell not big enough to provide adequate charge. Hand crank works but the charge diminishes really fast. Just using as a radio and charging with usb.

Weather radio provides real time access to multiple stations

Either the antenna is weak or broke on my radio. It picks up, but very staticky. Have to adjust it to get a signal. Not really in a wooded or hilly area, mid-west. Maybe 35miles from a weather station/radio.

I'm currently camping 40 minutes west of Sioux Falls. We have had severe weather all week and I can't get any weather stations out here on this radio. I bought it after camping near Omaha and my phone not alerting me to a tornado on the ground near us (in the middle of the night). I was hoping for peace of mind. But this was a worthless purchase unless I'm in a metro area evidently.
