We have had severe weather all week and I can't get any weather stations out here on this radio. I bought it after camping near Omaha and my phone not alerting me to a tornado on the ground near us (in the middle of the night). I was hoping for peace of mind. But this was a worthless purchase unless I'm in a metro area evidently.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.charged this radio when it arrived and 4 weeks later went to use and battery is stone dead i have another brand of these and it hold a charge for 6 months sitting so i charged it again but it wont fully charge and discharges really fast what good is an emergency radio if the battery is junk the radio seems to be ok but the battery is junk i put my own battery in it and they still had 98% sfter over a year sitting i would have returned this item but i was past return date when i found out its junk battery issue Midland owes us all a decent battery
