Works well and does work for a wide distance. Very useful when being outdoors. A plus thats it’s rechargeable and comes with the necessary charger.

Great set of radios. Have not tested range but they do pick up 2 different weather channels where I live, in a rural area. Easy to use and set up. Worth the purchase.

so easy to used. love the free rechargable battery with base. use it about 5 mlies away and no problem at all.

We use the radio's with our 36' RV for backing up and tight spots. very easy to use and sound quality is good. Don't know about the range. worked good about a block away. That's the furthest we have been.

We got these so my wife and I can communicate while separated as we ride our bikes. When one rider is in front the one following can not always hear. We bought the plug in ear piece to go along with these. A simple pinch of the lapel or shirt clip and we can transmit. the range is great if we are separated by some distance. Has weather alerts as well so great for emergency kits especially if cell phone coverage is out. This was an inexpensive fix for our cycling communication issues.

They are great for the value they worked great in open areas . Not that well on obstructed spaces like cruise cabins or inside hotel rooms other wise they work fine.

Fun and kid friendly. Works well around the block. However tried it over a 12-mile range and couldn’t pick hear or ping the other user. So, the 28-mile range isn’t quite true. Also have to recharge batteries after only 3 to 4 hours of continuous use. But for the price and the face that I got this for the kids, I’m not complaining too much.

Bought a couple of sets for my Son’s 6 year old boys to enjoy. I was surprised at the quality and range of these units...plus they recharge in the base supplied.

I havent had time to test the full limits of the pair but you dont have to have a license to operate according to my research. Great for when you are out biking around town. the VOX wasnt as responsive as i would like, but then that might be due to the headset i use. And they were smaller than i expected. However, for the price i paid, i'm very satisfied with what i got. Especially since it comes with a charging stand.

i use these to communicate with my 10 yr old when he is outside or upstairs and i want him to come to me its allot better than screaming. has a ringer and its easy to use and very clear.

I bought these to use on a cruise. They worked very well on the ship. You can't really expect them to go through all those steel decks. But, they did better than expected. Will definitely be using them on future cruises.

Purchased for weather conditions where cell service would be compromised. We took these radios on a hike and traveled 17 miles apart and they worked perfectly. Only problem was when there were alot of tall trees in the area. Perfect otherwise.

Love this!! This was a lifesaver when my spouse had covid. This is the perfect means for communication when we were in separate rooms to cut down on spreading the virus..

We drove two cars 600 miles to deliver one of the cars to my son. Better than a cell phone to maintain contact in the back roads without cell coverage while traveling. Flat out highway was good for 1 mile. Backroads about 1/2 mile depending on the terrain. We also use it at campgrounds.

Bought these to travel from Washington to Colorado. Two vehicles. Worked great. Makes a difference when you can communicate in real time, as necessary, during over the road adventures such as this.

These are high quality walkies. My boy has wanted some “good ones” for a while and we’ve gone through 2 sets of the “toy ones.” Got these this year and they work great! I love the clarity and the ability to recharge instead of replacing batteries constantly.
