This was great as some areas had dead spots for cell service (surprisingly). Overall would recommend for a cheap 2 way radio solution. Battery lasts about 1.5 days when left on for 8hrs a day. Just bring the charger with you on trips.

They can make up games all through out the house. They enjoy the fact that you can send codes to each other ( secret messages to their fellow spy.I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

It was more fun to speak to relatives impromptu rather than taking the time to try an call in low coverage areas. Made the trip more entertaining!

I was also able to charge them with a solar power bank. The NOAA weather service is helpful and provides better localized weather forecasts too.
