Great except for vox

Bought them to umpire polo on horseback. The vox function has very long lag time makes it hard to talk back and forth freely to my other ref. Earpieces I bought Are all but useless as the fall out. If you will not rely on vox i would recommend them.

BUT, do NOT expect the range to hold. Not even close. We lose communication at about 1 mile, sometimes 2. And its a fairly clear area too. If you have semi distant but local need, this is great. If you’re looking for anything further away, this will likely fail you. Because of our use, I only dinged a couple stars.

I can't say hiw far they'll work in the woods as I only needed them to stay in contact a mile away. I've also used them to communicate with my spotter when reversing a travel trailer. The only reason I docked a star is because they run out of charge faster than I expected. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
