Using them while coordinating loading of roofing material using a helicopter. Range is very good. They have worked well.

Everything works like its supposed to, good battery life

Radios function great i have used them only over 200-700 yards. Very clear. Bought them to umpire polo on horseback. The vox function has very long lag time makes it hard to talk back and forth freely to my other ref. Earpieces I bought Are all but useless as the fall out. If you will not rely on vox i would recommend them.

Tested these out in a neighborhood. Manage to go 2 miles and have nice clean audio still. Will be perfect for my video production on set.

We use these around campgrounds and for clear assistance in hooking up our camper. BUT, do NOT expect the range to hold. Not even close. We lose communication at about 1 mile, sometimes 2. And its a fairly clear area too. If you have semi distant but local need, this is great. If you’re looking for anything further away, this will likely fail you. Because of our use, I only dinged a couple stars.

These have worked very well in hilly WV country. I can't say hiw far they'll work in the woods as I only needed them to stay in contact a mile away. I've also used them to communicate with my spotter when reversing a travel trailer. The only reason I docked a star is because they run out of charge faster than I expected. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Work the best in open areas but even one inside and one in the basement they worked great! Would buy more.

Moved to Washington with them the drive was so much easier

I have been using Midland products for 4 years now. I have nothing but the most high praise for the company and the products they offer. Best part about these is they work well with the MicroMobile (car radio setups) they offer with out any hassle. best buy should look into offering those as well.

These are nice and clear and have used them for over 3 months batteries last pretty long.

Good walkies for what I need them for. They do NOT get anywhere near the "38 mile" range that they claim. Maybe in completely open terrain, but I get maybe two miles with them. Still a good deal and I do not mind the shorter range because it does not negatively effect what I am using them for.

These walkie-talkies work well. They are easy to use either plugged in to charge or battery operated. They are added insurance for safety situations.

Bought for my crew working in wooded area cleaning up site. Excellent range and clear talk.

Bought these when we go hiking. Because of the bad weather have not been able try them any long distance but they work great over shorter distances.

I never got around to reviewing this radio and when it worked I liked because grabbing my (expensive) phone in my pocket was too annoying to deal with while wearing thick gloves and trying to unlock it. Gloves and a phone don't work well. Often I found myself dirtying or nearly dropping my phone at a job site. So this $40 or less radio was a steal.. until it died about 2 months later. Oh well. I'll wait for a sale and buy again.
