Great for use while biking or kayaking. Though, was careful to not get the unit wet. Excellent battery life on these as well.

Great for use during traveling!!

Very good for hiking, camping, and security comms

Another awesome feature is the privacy codes. I work as an IT specialist for the federal government and security/privacy is essential to our communications. Midland is all we use. I use it for stuff like airsoft battles with my friends to camping and hiking with family.

Great radios

Didnt expect a lot due to the terrain and altough it didnt come anywhere close the advertised ranges it worked good enough for the intended purpose. Bonus was that it acted as a weather radio, while we didnt have radio or cell connectivity and we could listen to the forecast and alerts.
