These work well for the price. One radio in the house and the other in the car has a range in the city of about 1/2 mile at best. Out in the open I'm sure they do better.

Bought these radios to finally make use of my GMRS license. Great for use while biking or kayaking. Though, was careful to not get the unit wet. Excellent battery life on these as well.

These are great little radios with excellent range. With 36 available channels, we don't have to worry about stepping on anyone else in the area.

I am 81 years old and have had a lot of 2-war radios over the years, this is the best over all radios I have ever had or used used.

The flash light feature is nice they get a good range but after a year they do not seem to work that well

I would recommend this product for almost anyone. the voice quality is HD and crystal clear. Another awesome feature is the privacy codes. I work as an IT specialist for the federal government and security/privacy is essential to our communications. Midland is all we use. I use it for stuff like airsoft battles with my friends to camping and hiking with family.

Works as advertised, sound is good loud and clear as far as distance haven't been that far apart yet.

Bought these radios while camping in the mountains in Colorado. Didnt expect a lot due to the terrain and altough it didnt come anywhere close the advertised ranges it worked good enough for the intended purpose. Bonus was that it acted as a weather radio, while we didnt have radio or cell connectivity and we could listen to the forecast and alerts.
