The camera quality is fantastic, but I have to give 2 stars because the app is horrible. Constantly quitting on us and losing connection. I can't trust this as my only monitor in the house.

Not sure I trust the the unit . Temperature gauge is way off. Sometimes as much at 8 degrees. When I emailed customer service, they told me it's a average temp. And could varey by 4 degrees or so. But mine never seems to change off of 75. And I have two other temperature gauges both dialed in and confirm my unit is always way off. So if something as simple as temp is off, I'm not sure how safe I feel about it monitoring my child's breathing. And keep in mind, this is supposed to be high end, high tech. Also, manufacturer didnt even respond or address sending me a replacement as I asked about. To me it basically seems like a overpriced monitor that I could have gotten for half the price. Just my honest opinion / concerns.

Where are the negative stars? This product dosent deserve any recomendations. Out of the box with issues. I got the suplier to send me one that works. The second device was also faulty. Tech support is a joke all they can say was "unplug the device and wait for one minute, then plug it back" and kept telling me that it was my internet connection. ie - 5' away from router.

Awful, this thing was so bad. It worked on and off. the company was unhelpful. I would not reccomend

It is not that much cool item the price is high for it. I think the price is for packeging not gor quality

As soon as I received the package, I knew I was in for a treat. The monitor itself is super sleek and modern. It was beautifully packaged with absolutely everything you need to install the monitor, like a screwdriver and level. If you're anything like me, you'll appreciate the packaging details. Everything was clearly labeled and organized. My husband easily mounted the monitor– thank goodness, because we don't have an electric drill. (NOTE TO PARENTS: to properly use the Miku baby monitor, you have to install it in the center of the crib and 5 feet above the ground. We designed the nursery before we got the monitor so we had to move things around. Not a big deal.) Instead of a monitor, you'll have to download an app. The app is full of incredible features. It shows you the room temperature, the humidity, and of course, your baby’s breathing rpms. It also shows activity, movement, sound, and both sleeping and breathing patterns. I love getting notifications on movement because I'm noticing how much Baby moves and wakes herself up. The app records patterns that are super helpful when we have questions for the pediatrician. Additionally, the picture and video quality is fantastic. I love being able to save photos to my camera roll. Overall, it's a fantastic product and helps me rest easy when we put Baby down. It's absolutely worth it!

I have used many monitors over the years as a mom of 2 and a daycare provider. And this one has all the bells and whistles any new parent would want. Pros: 1.Super easy to install! Comes with everything you need including a level attached to the wall mount seen in the pictures, a full size screw driver and all the screws and bolts you could need. 2. You can take pictures and videos right on the app and send to family 3. Love that i can access the monitor from anywhere on my phone 4. Has movement alerts that come in handy for the busy parent not always watching the monitor 5. Absolutely love the activity recording. My daughter doesn’t cry when she wakes up and will often be awake in her crib for a while before i notice so it’s nice to be able to look back and see exactly when she woke up 6. The monitor analyzes baby’s night sleep and calculates exactly how much sleep they got and keeps track of the time they fell asleep/woke up. 7. Sound stays on even if the app is not pulled up on the phone Con: If you don’t have good internet speed or live in an old house with plaster walls it doesn’t stay connected Wish there was a parent unit included for times when grandmas babysit and they don’t have access to the monitor.

This monitor has been an absolute God send! First, it was SO SIMPLE to set up! Took less than 10 minutes. Packaging was super nice, and they even include a screw driver! The equipment (and camera) looks so nice, too. As for the camera, The specs are fantastic. The video and audio quality are so great. I was using a basic monitor before, and all of the extra things the Miku offers is worth it. Temperature, humidity, movement alerts, breathing alerts— I could go on, are so great. Our children are so precious, the monitor gives me piece of mind while they are sleeping and I am sleeping. 100% would recommend

We LOVE this monitor. We tried 3 different monitors prior to getting this monitor and none of them compared! First, I am very impressed with the convenience of the installation. All the tools (great quality) that are needed are literally included in the packaging and it took us 5-10 minutes to install, super easy!! The manual was self explanatory and having everything in front of you helped a lot. Most importantly, the quality of the monitor in real time is great! All you need is working wifi and your smartphone to access the footage. I love the breathing feature because as a first time mom, it gives me so much more security knowing that I can see that my son is ok while he is asleep. When we were sleep training our little one, we didn't have the best monitor and I wish we had this monitor! The real time video quality is perfect and you can even playback old footage. I love how it also tracks baby's sleep/quality of sleep. All so so important things! Love how customizable the monitor/app are but also very user friendly! I am definitely recommending this monitor to other parents and parent-to-be's. The design is also very appealing! We love our Miku monitor!

Extremely satisfied with the Miku! Set up was easy. Picture quality is excellent, even in the dark. I already had purchased an Owlet camera and sock which I like but wanted a second monitor so I could have one upstairs and downstairs without having to move it every time. This is much more convenient than the sock and monitors breathing which has eased my anxiety tremendously. I used to stare at the video on my previous monitor and watch to make sure I could see my baby's chest rise and fall- this does that for you so you can relax. After using both, I prefer the Miku to the Owlet and have made it my primary monitor. I was impressed by the app and the connection of the video, there seems to be almost no lag where the other monitor we used prior would frequently freeze and lag. The Miku monitor is just aesthetically pleasing and a well made product in general! The packaging is stunning and includes everything you need (literally down to the screwdriver). This is definitely worth the price based on the reliability, quality and peace of mind it provides.  

At first glance, I was very impressed by the packaging and the speed at which my package was delivered. After getting the monitor set up, I was impressed by the quality video that the camera produces and installation was a breeze. The app is clean looking and although I haven't gotten in to the bells and whistles too much yet, it seems very easy to navigate. The instructions were fairly straightforward and we had it connected to WiFi in no time. I also appreciate the fact that there is no subscription fees associated with using the app. While we are still setting up our nursery, this will definitely be something that I call out to my friends with newborns as a product we expect to help us with our first child! Plus, it looks really sleek and blends in with the other decor in our nursery seamlessly! Great product!

So far this monitor is great. At first it looked a little overwhelming to set up but it turned out that they just give you a lot of extra mounting parts, which seem to be of really good quality. Setup was fast and easy and the video on the app helped a lot. Couldn't ask for better picture quality and awesome night vision. It is also really nice that the app sends notifications for movement and sound and will play sound while running in the background on your phone. I think that it's ability to display respirations is pretty cool too. So far I can't think of anything I'd want that this monitor doesn't provide. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love our Miku baby monitor! We originally bought the owlet sock and monitor to use for our newborn, now four months. When our little one was born, we found out he needed a brace on both feet so we were unable to even use the sock and had been having ongoing picture and connectivity issues with the regular monitor. I am so happy that the Miku can bring us the added comfort that I wanted but was unable to use with the sock monitor! The live breathing is amazing and doesn't lag. My baby is using the Merlin sleep suit and it can even track his breathing through the thick, padded suit! My little one is a light sleeper so I would sometimes wake him just by peeking in his room at night. With the Miku, I can watch him with such a clear picture that I no longer feel the need to check his room as well. The monitor is high quality and worth every penny!

What a game-changer! I was nervous transitioning my little one from her bassinet to a crib in her own room, but Miku delivered and definitely gave me piece of mind. It’s everything you need in one stylish package - seriously the packaging is beautiful and they give you literally EVERYTHING you need to set this up, from a screwdriver, to a mini level and ruler. Set up was easy, the app is incredibly intuitive, the camera is clear, the data is helpful, it has a sounds machine built in, it tracks the room's temp and humidity levels as well as your baby's heart rate and oxygen levels and overall the best thing about it is that my husband and I sleep better knowing if anything is amiss for any reason we'll be alerted right away. I can’t say enough good things about Miku. It’s a great product!

We love our Miku monitor! We had previously been using another brand that monitors our babies breathing, but we were only able to use the camera feature because of the required sleep wear. Our baby didn't like the breathing wear so all we could utilize was the camera from this system, waste of money. What is amazing about Miku is that you don't have to use certain clothing to utilize the monitoring feature. With Miku we now have our baby's breathing, movement sleep patterns and room all monitored and the best part is that it is with NO subscription. Our free subscription with our other monitor ran out so we no longer able to track our baby's sleep. And wow what a difference the camera is even with Miku too, so much better. So happy with our purchase!!

The Miku baby monitor was super easy to install and has a very sleek design. I LOVE being able to track my daughters sleep patterns and how I am notified when she has either woken up or fallen asleep. We have gone through 2 other baby monitors and this one by far has the best night vision and real-time streaming capabilities. Our area does not have the greatest Wifi and I haven’t noticed any lag time or connectivity issues. My only regret is not getting the Miku sooner!

Okay to start with, i would say the shipping is super quick and the packaging is so classy . I would give it a 5* . Setting up the camera didnt take long , it was quick and easy . The camera quality is better than i expected . The app made my life easier . I use the LED light as a night lamp lol whatever works for this mama. I havent explored the music option yet, but i will be doing it sooner or later. . The app is amazing, i was skeptical at first but its easy to use and runs smoothly. Doesnt keep shutting off .. so thats a win win for us . Its accessible by anyone you givr access to, dad can look at the kid when hes away at work . Its a bit pricey but totally worth every penny.

As a first time mom, I’m finding it’s so important to invest in things like the Miku to help bring peace of mind. Everything from the ordering process to set up, app installation and use was seamless. I was super impressed with the packaging, easy to follow instructions and the fact that all the tools were provided for setup from measuring tape to screw driver! I also love the way it looks aesthetically! The app was so user friendly for both my husband and I and we’re loving all the features, from the big things like monitoring breathing to the small perks like soothing sounds. I’m extremely satisfied with our decision to go with Miku!

I am a first time parent of our (now 2-month-old) baby. We wanted to have the baby from the start, be in her own room and in the crib. As such, up until recently we have been using a Vtech video monitor. Our baby though developed some gas issues and would spit up and fuss through the night. With the old monitor we were not able to tell if the baby was awake and actively spitting up or it was just normal spit up while sleeping. We would not know when to actually go to the baby vs let the baby sleep. Once we got the Miku, it was clear what was happening with our baby and when we needed to take action as it monitors vitals and sleeping without any additional attachments. The other options required strapping devices on our baby and we did not want to do that. Packaging, Setup and Access. When we got the Miku, it came and in very beautiful packaging and arrived quickly. They provided everything, the level, screwdriver, even a tape measure! Items were clearly marked and the set up was extremely easy. The device and the app instructions are easy to follow. Putting the Miku on the wall, registering, providing access and connecting to wifi took no more than 10 min. We just had to shut off and turn on the system once after set up for it to recognize our wifi. So if you are having trouble connecting to your home wifi, just turn the Miku on and off and it will find your wifi. You control access to the app and can at any time to check on our baby regardless of where you are via your phone. Whether you are in your house, working in the yard, at the office, or on vacation, you can see what’s going on. We have never had any connection issues. I also like the fact that, even when the app is running in the background, you can still have the audio playing through your phone speaker with no impact. Features: The Miku monitor has lots of great features including, very clear two way talk as well as the ability to take pictures with no delay, which I haven’t seen in most monitors. However, being able to see your baby is breathing “at a glance” makes this system amazing. I love knowing that I will be alerted IF anything happens during her sleep. The night vision and respiratory monitor helped us assure that she is sleeping safely. Another pro is the ability to review sleep analytics night after night. As we move to sleep training her, we can see this will be a great help. The monitor continuously updates the room's temperature and humidity, making sure she is sleeping comfortably. I also love the music option which has both lullaby’s as well as sounds preloaded. I can only imagine that this product will continue to improve on and add more music or build feature that allow you to load your own music to play. With this feature, there is no need for an additional sound machine and the quality fo the sound is really great. You have the option of having any of the sounds on for 15-30 min and then on repeat. I had it on the whole night. It was great. Being a first time parents comes with a lot of learning and adjustments, but the Miku has helped us so much and eased our minds. I’m looking forward to seeing what new and exciting features will continue to be added to this amazing monitor.

My wife and I did a lot of research on baby monitors before settling on the Infant Optics DXR-8 monitor. We figured that having a simple monitor without all the bells and whistles and no internet connection needed would be the best way to go. Boy, were we wrong! After hearing about the benefits of a smart monitor from our friends and family we decided to give it a shot and came across the Miku baby monitor. We looked at the Owlet and Nanit as well but did not want to deal with the separate breathing wear accessory components (sock and band). The Miku seemed to be the best all-in-one option and had everything that we were looking for. When we first received the monitor, we could tell that this was a high-end product based on the fancy detailed packaging that with came with everything needed to install the monitor including a screwdriver, measuring tape and cable guides. The Miku even has a built-in leveling tool! The installation / setup process was a breeze. After using the monitor for a few weeks, here are our thoughts: • The Miku app is very user-friendly and easy to use. The live HD picture quality is crystal clear, especially the night-vision. The best part is being able to check up on my son from anywhere/anytime when we are away. With Infant Optics there was no internet connection, so we had to have the monitor with us at all times and could only use it within the house. If we were in the backyard or a little further away, we would lose connection. The Miku connection within the app is very strong and feels secure with all their safety features. The two-way talk system is easy to use with sharp audio and premium sound. • The movement detection signal is a great feature that lets us know if our little one is asleep, awake or feeling uncomfortable. There is also a sleep tracking feature which we have started to use more to keep a log of his sleeping patterns. • The humidity and temperature monitoring is very accurate and is shown right on top of the picture in real-time (in the app). • My wife is a physician and she loves how the Miku tracks breathing in the app without having to put any monitoring accessories on our son. We are always paranoid and worried about him when he is sleeping, more so now that he is sleeping on his side and sometimes on his stomach. • The added bonus is that you can play various lullabies and white noises from the app which helps calm down our baby and put him to sleep. The bottom line is that the Miku is an excellent baby monitor. Yes, it is expensive, but worth the money if you are looking for a superior monitor that does it all. The Miku has exceeded all of our expectations and gives us a sense of comfort knowing that our baby is safe and sound!
