Feedback from my son: when it works, it’s great.. tracking breathing, temp in the room, how long she’s been asleep, etc.. when it doesn’t work (multiple times a week) it is incredibly frustrating. The unit alerting you to ‘no breathing’ is comically late (often ~1 min after removing her from the crib), they had to shut that feature off since it would go off so inconsistently. Additionally, since my granddaughter was born the unit has been reset uncountable times. Approx. twice a week. An ‘Unable to connect’ error message results in needing to reset the unit and find/enter wiFi. Customer service not particularly helpful. They wish they had gotten a cheaper/more reliable unit.

From someone now experienced in having a older edition MIKU with my first and now on to this new MIKU pro I now understand why this camera is hands down the best in the market. First off, the quality of the image itself even on night vision is incomparable. It’s super clear , and you can even zoom into your child. Through many research I found this is the only camera you can get your child’s RPM without having anything on them physically which is comforting to me and keeps me sane. One other huge thing that made me choose MIKU against other brands was the fact that I have access to a lot of features without having an extra fee of course there is a care + option ( that is extremely affordable and reasonable ) but unlike many other companies I can basically access everything without a subscription. The detail of their sleep with tracking RPM from each night and how much movement and being able to go back and compare is unbelievable! You can literally check for patterns and see if there is something up with your child because you will begin to notice that if they are sick their RPM does change. One HUGE benefit of choosing MIKU was their customer service who literally have been live savers at crazy times and days in the week readily available and happy to help. Look wise it is super sleek, elegant and does not ruin the aesthetic of my room. And lastly the presentation itself from the entire box and opening it , instructions and included tools show you the high quality and work put into making this monitor happen for the most important little humans in our lives ! I could not be more happy with my choice in trusting MIKU.

Wouldn’t connect to my internet. Then when it would, the miku app wouldn’t work right. Contacted their customer support, got hung up on a few times. Emailed them and they say: “ The Miku will not pair to an SSID with the + character in it. The following SSID naming rules used by the Miku Pro are: -The SSID must be between 1 and 32 character -The first character can not be ! # or -The SSID can not contain + ] / or TA -The SSID can not end in a trailing space You may be able to see the SSID in the wifi list, but if you try to pair to an SSID for which any of those rules are violated the pairing attempt will fail. Hopefully this provides you with some context.” Now to someone that doesn’t know much about all that, this is why you pay $400 for something. So you don’t have to deal with silly crap like that. The customer support is a joke and obviously the monitor wasn’t built right.

As a user experience designer, I’m always impressed when you come across a product that has clearly thought through every step to make it as simple and intuitive as possible. The Miku Pro ranks at the top and was one of my favorites. I was wary of a monitor that needed wall installation and especially the wire management. Installation took only minutes, with every high-quality tool provided and specifically tuned for the Miku Pro. The fabric measuring tape made the hight fool proof. There was a level built directly into the wall mount, and the instructions and in-app guidance made it impossible to mess up. It was a breeze. I had a hiccup with my network configuration, so I contacted support. They responded immediately and with one press of a button, they were able to handle the whole fix remotely without me doing a thing. And the app even notified me when it was up and running afterwards. Great experience, and a huge comfort knowing how they will respond if anything ever happens in the future. Once installed, the app is super intuitive. Drag the handles on the video to the edges of the crib mattress and you’re done. The night vision and sensor monitoring are impressive, and the notifications really give my wife and I a lot of comfort. Love this product, and HIGHLY recommend it!

As a first-time parent, I was wanting to invest in a high-quality monitor that tracked my baby's sleep while monitoring breathing. I found that the other monitors on the market required wearables which after doing a lot of research I didn't like. I have learned that other monitors have poor night vision, small range, zero live breathing monitoring, doesn't hold a charge, and the list goes on. I love that the miku pro has incredible sound and video quality, ZERO subscription costs like other baby monitors, music/sound machine, and my most favourite feature is that you don’t have to be connected to the same wifi to access the monitor. No issues at all with both my husband and I connecting the device. It was also super easy to setup and share the account with my spouse on his phone. You can customize the settings for how often and when you get notifications. One of the features I love to use is you can use the monitor like a normal audio monitor even with the app closed on your phone! This monitor is truly the best on the market especially with no subscription costs, I highly recommend to new parents!! What I forgot to mention is that we currently have this sitting on our nightstand facing our bassinet. We plan on using the mounting kit included with the baby monitor once we eventually move our baby to her nursery. I love that miku sells a travel case so we can easily take it with us whenever we travel! Again, I can’t recommend this enough and I hope this review helps other parents who are doing their research on baby monitors.

I am very pleased with this Miku Pro monitor! First of all, the packaging is really nice, all installation equipment was included, even a screwdriver and a pencil! The manual and assembly is easy and pretty straightforward. I like that you can hide the wire! It does look very nice and stylish on the wall. For the more, the app is very user friendly! No glitches so far! The monitor tracks baby's breathing, gives you a piece of mind and easy to see when baby fell asleep. I would say it is accurate for the most part (if baby is laying in the center of the crib). It detects all the movements, even eyes blinking. It counts for how long baby has been asleep/awake. You can unable the alarm to go off if there is no movement/breathing. Also, I like how you can turn on a sound from your phone to play in the nursery. There are such options as lullaby, white/grey noise, womb or dishwasher sounds. You can choose to set timer for music as well. I used this option when our portable white noise machine turned off during baby's nap. The image quality is perfect, even at nighttime! The last thing to mention, I am glad that you can use your phone/other apps while using Miku app, the sound will be still on a background. We also installed the app on an ipad and I shared access to the app to my husband, everything works great for us!

I’ve had this camera for one week so far and it has been great! The quality of the image on my iPhone is superb! Even when the room is pitch black, the night vision settings are great! I love the bird’s eye view as well. We recently transitioned our LO to his crib and this camera has provided a lot of piece of mind. He likes to roll onto his stomach and sleep, the breathing monitoring helps ensure that we know he is safe and sound. This function is one of our favorites because we couldn’t remember to put the owlet on night after night, and this allows us not to worry about it! I also love that now when I’m away at work I can pop in and see him during nap time. It allows me to feel more connected while away. I have not had any connection issues that others have mentioned. It was extremely easy to install and set up, and everything you needed to do so was provided! Down to the pencil to mark the wall.

I am absolutely in love with the Miku! This monitor is the perfect blend of advanced technology and ease of use, making it an absolute must-have for any new parent looking for this type of monitor! One of my favorite features of this monitor is the incredible video quality. The camera shows crystal-clear footage of my baby, allowing me to keep an eye on them even in the dark room. The camera also has a wide field of view, so I can see every corner of the room without having to move the camera. The Miku is also incredibly easy to use. The app is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing me to check in on my baby from anywhere, whether I'm at home or out running errands. The app also tracks my baby's breathing patterns and sleep quality, giving me peace of mind and helping me ensure that my baby is getting the best sleep possible. One of the best parts of this monitor is the security features. The monitor uses ‘military-grade encryption’ to protect my baby's data and ensure that no one else can access the camera. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that my baby is safe and secure at all times. Overall, I cannot recommend the Miku Pro Baby Monitor enough. It's an incredible investment for any new parent!

I truly was impressed from the moment I opened the box of the Miku through testing it out for my new growing family. This product is smartly made and with new parents in mind. The set up of this product was the easiest install I have ever done- the box comes with everything you need to install and the app set up is quick and painless. Now for the actual camera-the sleek design is visually appealing, the quality is impeccable, the picture is clear and the zoom is amazing. The night vision is insanely amazing, its almost like it isn't night you can see so well! The breathing capabilities are going to be a game changer for this first time Mom. I know that I am extremely pleased with this function and even more thrilled that I do not have to hook anything up to my brand new baby like other well known products. Lastly, a function that to me is just a real bonus, the sounds! This is a home run! There are so many different lullaby's and white noise sounds that the camera itself plays. This product replaces so many other products and allows everything to be in just one amazing product! Do not sleep on this monitor, you will have peace of mind and not be disappointed with it at all!

I wish I had known about this baby monitor earlier. We had the owlet wearable sock when our baby was smaller, but I could never get him to keep it on his foot. The whole process made me MORE stressed out, instead of LESS stressed out. But I really liked the idea of real time breathing so I’m really glad we found the Miku Pro. In order to monitor your baby’s breathing, you do need to place your crib against a wall, so a head’s up about that. However it’s surprisingly easy to install. The box even comes with a tape measure, pencil and screwdriver. And, as we found out, it’s also easy to uninstall and put in another room if needed. The monitor will stand up and the camera can swivel, which is a nice design feature. I can definitely see us taking this with us when we travel, because everything is on the app on my phone. I can be at work, or outside, or on a date, or visiting friends, and check in on my baby any time. There are so many features to this baby monitor that I haven’t even really explored yet, like two way speakers, and tons of songs and music, right now we’re using “blue noise” and our son seems to love it. And the image is so clear, we can watch our little buddy sleeping in super high resolution. I honestly feel like we will continue to use this monitor for years.

As a first time mom, I am very pleased with this monitor. Very fast delivery and nicely package. Super easy to install and set up; all the installation equipment is included. High video quality, even the night vision is so clear. It detects baby’s breathing and all movements, even tracks how the long baby sleeps. Best things about this monitor are: the app is user friendly, you can use your phone, and it doesn’t require any subscription. We are so happy with this monitor.

This a truly great monitor. I feel as though the breathing monitoring provides peace of mind, just so that we know that our child is sleeping. Every monitor has pros and cons, and if you are not in an area with good Wi-Fi, any Wi-Fi monitor probably isn't for you. With that being said, I have basic internet, and I have never had an issue with the speed of the monitor. Set up and installation were very easy, and I would definitely buy this monitor again.

Super happy with this purchase. This product comes with everything you need for a quick and easy installation, right down to the pencil. Installation took less than 15 minutes, with easy to follow instructions. The app is user friendly and easy to navigate. It connects easily to the monitor. Picture quality is super clear. The MIKU PRO is the third baby monitor my wife and I have purchased in the last 2 years (the first two monitors had issues and did not last long), and it is hands down the best baby monitor on the market! For starters, the packaging is beautifully designed (I am a Packaging Engineer/nerd) and came with all of the necessary tools and hardware for installation. The directions were also easy to follow which made installing it a breeze. The camera itself is sleek and looks great in our nursery! The MIKU app is very user friendly and works great – it’s obvious that it was designed with the customer in mind! Once we had the app set up, we were amazed at how crystal clear the video is, which is a HUGE upgrade from our previous monitors which were grainy and choppy. The enhanced night vision is also a million times better than we’ve ever seen. The technology used for this monitor is second-to-none. I think the entire MIKU development team deserves a raise, because the breathing and sleep-monitoring feature makes us feel like we’re using a medical-grade device. We have complete peace of mind while our son is sleeping. Other added features like live temperature, two-way talk, and the ability to play lullabies are also such nice perks! We would 100% recommend the MIKU PRO to anyone and everyone with a child!

I have been using the Miku monitor for a couple weeks now and absolutely love it. I purchased two monitors and they came at the perfect time as my son is transitioning from his crib to a toddler bed and we also have a newborn. I love how clear the picture quality of the video is and that I can go back and watch video clips throughout the night when there is any movement or sound in the room. This has been so helpful to watch my older son in his big boy bed to make sure he is getting enough sleep and also staying put. The alarm is also a nice feature and I really love how the monitor tracks how long my kids have been asleep or awake. You can setup an alarm for sound or if there is no movement, etc. The app is so user friendly, setup was easy and installing it on the wall was a breeze. It looks nice and sleek - no wires! Its nice you can download the app onto multiple devices and always have access even when you aren’t home. I have used a couple different monitors in the past and this is by far the best.

We did a lot of research on baby monitors before purchasing the Miku, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It was by far the camera / baby monitor with the most features. We love that all the sleep tracking is automatic! It's amazing how far technology has come. The Miku is able to detect when you put your baby down, how long it takes for them to fall asleep, how long they slept for, when a caretaker helps the baby out, and more... All the statistics, details, and insights are extremely helpful in helping us decide if we need to make adjustments to how we put our baby down to sleep. This gives us peace of mind when we aren't actively watching the baby on a camera or in person. It will detect how many breaths per minute and also alert you if the baby stops breathing. After using the Miku we are extremely satisfied with our purchase. It was very easy to set up (both the hardware and software/app) and we were able to use it right away. The app was very intuitive and both my partner and I have it installed and set up to monitor our baby. There are so many bonus features that we love as well. When viewing the app we're also constantly looking at the temperature and humidity that the Miku reports so that we can make adjustments to the room.

Our Miku has been a complete lifesaver over these past 3 months! The app is very user friendly and intuitive. I love that the breathing monitor works without any additional wearable. We have used it to monitor our baby in a bassinet, crib and pack & play both at home and traveling using the Miku stand. The crisp 1080p video & night vision comes through great on the app and it seems much clearer than the Nanit and radio based monitors that our friends have when comparing side-by-side. The analytics on the app are very insightful and the activity recap is perfect to scroll through movements during the previous night. The only minor feedback that I have is that the power button is a bit bright on the lowest setting so we just put electrical tape over it. We are thrilled with the Miku and are recommending it to all of our friends and family!

I did a-lot of research when it came to buying a baby monitor for our nursery. The product came with mounting accessories and clear instructions and looks SO NICE. Set up was so quick and easy. The step-by-step video instructions were so helpful. The video is super sharp and the added features: breathing tracking, noise machine, temperature detector, movement alarm, and two-way mic. It has everything. I'm also looking forward to being able to check in on my baby when I go back to work. We do have another baby monitor without wifi for travel but for in home I knew I wanted something with the technology support to see my baby from anywhere.

This is our first baby monitor and we’re very pleased with it. The monitor arrived really quickly and it came very well packaged and easy to assemble. The one we got came with a floor stand which was straightforward to assemble and makes it so that we can be versatile in how we place it. The box was surprisingly heavy to us when we first got it, but it’s a testament to the nice build quality of the camera and stand. I don’t imagine this will ever topple over. The app’s onboarding process is designed very nicely and was straightforward and clear to use. Definitely comes at a higher price point but with vitals tracking, no subscription cost (for most users) and high definition footage it definitely stands out in the category.

So with my wife being an ICU nurse, I knew that the average run of the mill baby monitor wasn't going to cut it. I found Miku and after learning everything it's able to track I was blown away. I asked my wife if this would help put her mind at ease and she gave me an emphatic YES! We've had the monitor for a little over a week now and everything has been amazing. App works great, the setup was extremely easy (Thank God because I am sooo over these baby products that need an engineering degree to assemble). The baby's not even here yet and we've been playing around with the monitor all week. I actually caught the dogs sneaking on the bed while I was at work and much to their surprise I was able to scold them without even being at the house! If you have a S.O. that's a bit on neurotic side of parenting, do yourself a favor and get this for them!
