I highly recommend the Apple Milanese strap over the other brands out there. Quality is noticeable different and the clasp is nicer on the Apple version.

Yes it's shiny. Yes it looks better than the plastic ones. But NO it does not make you special :P I say this because it's so darn expensive, and you expect when you put it on that your watch will suddenly sprout wings and become magically faster or something. Nope, same old Apple watch.
I also noticed the "loop" stands out like a sore thumb depending which side you slide it through. there is a wide gap that makes this look not as high of quality as it should. It actually looks more like a shiny bracelet than a watch band (the ladies might like this more than the fella's). As a guy I just didn't like the look.
I took mine and am enjoying the Sport Band that came with my original.
